Here I am at 6:30 am, it's still dark outside, very cold here in Ontario. All is peaceful. The jack russell sleeps. I'm flipping around on the internet for good music and choose this because of the title. My God was I lifted!! I mean I wanted to crank this up to the ceiling! (unfortunately I have neighbours very near...shhhhh) This was an exceptional piece of work!! What a lovely thing you have brought from within yourself. Shine on baby. You've got what it takes.
Just a sittin at an upright, my sweetie and me, pushin on the pedals makin sweet harmony......I want to hear it again, I want to hear it again, the old piano roll blues!
That's just great. For some reason I remembered this song from when I was a kid and did a search for it on here. What a treat to see and hear your great rendition. The black and white is a nice touch as well. Thanks.
Great stuff, keep em comin, i never heard of this tune before till i seen big tiny little and Jo ann Castle playing it together on the Lawrence Welk show from 50 years ago (thanks to youtube) never see such GREAT entertainment now days.
Just wat you to know, Mike. I hope you don't mind, but used this amazing song to create a silent film for my best friend's college project. She got an A+ and the video was the best in the class.
I am in love with that tune Mike and you play it so well, but sorry I have not got back to you with the book after the house fire, still reeling. Our piano and church organ were destroyed in the fire, but we're still safe and glad to see that you are too my friend. Will speak again when I am back up and gunning...
@sisterfelix I'm so pleased it arrived. I was at the post office this afternoon mailing a few more cds-I inquired as to how long it would take. Apparently delivery to USA is quite quick but it is the actual delivery once there that is the hold up!! Glad the cd turned up-finally. Best wishes-thanks for your support.
Nice, Mike! I haven't had a chance to view all of your clips, but have you ever posted some up-tempo Boogie Woogie? I'm guessing you're a fan because you put up some Winifred A. and along with the stride and all the rest - she could boogie like a fast train in a hurricane!

Mike, you shouldn't write something like that. You have a God given talent at the Piano with a heartwarming personality. Please don't let negative comments drag you down.
ha jus checked out your channel! yes this is an original recording-filmed in black & white! no cabe attached to the piano for amplification-they are the pedal levers!! The piano was made circa1964. I appreciate your efforts though. keep trying-we all have to start somewhere. thanks for the entertainment bw

I love the filming in black and white! That was wonderful to watch. Love the white suit and hat too! You could play in your underwear and be good...um, but don't! You might stir up a different sort of following! LOL
