I'm so glad my wife and I were able to be at the Vegas Jamboree for Corman's final interview. Without Corman, indie filmmaking wouldn't be possible. Thank you Shudder for uploading this full interview. Long live Roger Corman!
Might be the most humble titan to ever exist. The entire movie industry wouldn't be the same without Roger Corman. His influence will last for generations. And it's only fitting that Mr. Joe Bob Briggs would be the one to interview Mr. Corman.
Such a towering figure. 98 years and not a single moment wasted. RIP.
Rip Roger Corman .
98 and with a sharp mind. And also Bruce Dern another legend still with us .
Mind like a steel trap. We should all be so lucky.
What a life. He shaped the future of Hollywood, with those he gave a leg up. We lost a goddamn legend. 🥺
RIP - Roger Corman. You gave us more movie entertainment than we ever deserved.
What an incredible legacy he's leaving behind. He will be sorely missed.
I'm 68 years old and have watched every Roger Corman film he's made. They may not be the greatest but they are damned entertaining. May he rest in peace.
RIP Legend
Thank you so much for this. I love Corman. RIP
RIP to an absolute legend
😢 RIP Roger Corman.
Thank you, Shudder.
Roger always had that infectious smile! Godspeed, good sir!
Thanks for uploading! Ive told alot of friends who have Shudder that they need to watch the Corman two parter for The Last Drive In. Very cool of you to share this amazing interview. Joe Bob adores him and they really cover so much in this interview. Roger was one of the best!!!
So sad, such a legend, thanx for everything.
Roger is 'Best of the best !'❤😂
Thank you Joe and thank you so much Roger!
Love him and miss him, he did more for indie filmmaking than anybody did.
The GOAT!
Thank you for sharing this! What an incredible life! Mr. Corman's legacy lives on in so many ways. He'll certainly be missed.
Such a great episode of the Last Drive In, and a fitting tribute to a legend.
When was this segment recorded? At any rate, thank you, Shudder, for uploading this. Like SO many, the Corman/Poe/Price films were an integral part of my childhood. My dad and I bonded over those films (on VHS). Now, I share them with my sons (on Bluray).
Rest in Peace, Roger. You'll be sorely missed.
Roger says he's 97 & it's mentioned that he's being honored for a 70 year career (1953-2023). Since it's taking place outside & at night, it's safe to assume (based on how everyone is dressed) it was recorded during the Summer of 2023.
Rip Roger corman
