it's despair at the state of humanity. the natural, physical world is so beautiful and people foul it. and perhaps most depressing is that they are in such a state they cannot see all that beauty around them. your town has fantastic greenery, parks, little walks.

It think it is good that you say what you think about needles and knives. People using that path needs to contact people who are responsible to take care of these areas when you can find things like that. Be safe the next time you are picking litter. 💞 I wonder why they do not cut down the bushes and take care of the leafs. It will be more open and it is not so easy to use it like some people are doing.
Tough one... I live in a nice suburb, and I've found needles and knives. Social skills should be taught in the home but last few generations dont have any to pass on. Remember the adverts on tv, Take your litter home or bin it responibly.
It's like trying to tackle a tidal wave with a few sandbags mate you just cant win there are too many people littering and so few people willing to tackle it including the councils the government and everyday people like you and i. I'ts so frustrating. I live in a rural area in Devon and do my road at least twice a week, even on a quiet rural road i pick up a full large shopping bag full on each walk without fail and it's always mainly Monster bloody Energy Cans which im sorry but if your swigging that crap you are not the brightest crayon in the box!

If the situation were different, get the CAS number from the label if you can (to look up/report later, easier than the long chemical name) and just leave the area. I wouldn't even hang around for possibility of fumes etc. Somehow booze and needle litter doesn't phase me to see, but that dump at the end was shocking. Take care my friend!
It's so sad that beautiful green spaces are used for nefarious purposes. Maybe it's better if we create boring concrete spaces with no hiding places. Keep up the great work.

In Texas we have a slogan that says, "Don't Mess with Texas," our highways are kept very clean, because if people are seen littering they are given a hefty fine.
