Morning Ross…love those specs. You know I still have luck chunking my 50+yr old Mirrolures. My favorites being the 52M24 and 26. Replaced the treble hooks with 1/0 inline hooks on the middle and rear eyes. Great video. Thanks for sharing. Catch’em while you can, because when you reach my age, fishing becomes a physical challenge.
I still have some old mirrolures , they still catch fish for sure. I understand the age thing at 70 getting in and out of the boat at the dock gets more challenging every year.
Glad to see you back on the water Ross, as you know I am still recovering from the knee surgery, but seeing you get on those Specs is allowing me to recover faster to get back on the water.
Heck yeah buddy, on them Trout👍🏻My son and I went yesterday evening to the bayou and caught quite a few on topwater walkers, maybe 3-4 keepers. It’s starting to heat up, up here.
I’ve been watching your videos for years. I’ve been trying to figure out what flat you fish is it the east flat I never fished on the bay before I’m buying my boat pretty soon.
Loads of fun, how I miss those days, this time of year I would go down to the Mission river and catch a bunch.
Thanks for watching Jerry.

It's always nice to see the redfish master at work. The first person view is always appreciated Mr. Ross. Tight lines out there!
Thank you Shurmash.
That gives a whole new meaning to the phrase, tight lines🎣
Take it easy with that shoulder 💪
Happy holidays from my family to yours !!

Enjoyed the video! Makes me want to go fishing!
Thanks for watching Gary.
What’s the name of the flats you fish?
Redfish Bay flats.
I’ve been watching your videos for years. I’ve been trying to figure out what flat you fish is it the east flat I never fished on the bay before I’m buying my boat pretty soon.
@@jasonperales7486 I fish all the flats east and west they are about the same ,but west is deeper.
Thank you Ross 👍🏻
I went out today and was only able to get on 1 23" red and 1 21" trout both were sitting in about 7 feet of water in the bend of a bayou
Any day that you don’t get skunked is a good day in my book. Thanks for watching.
Have you ever tried casting left handed to help not stress your shoulder so much?
Have tried , it was not good lol. My left is useless as I am severely right hand and arm dominate.
@@redfishross me too 😂 I can’t do left handed at all
I'm amazed how you always find the fish.
Many years of practice , thanks for watching.
NC 19 degrees
Yea rarely gets that cold here in South Texas.
Redfish Ross is now Trout Troy!
Yes I was thinking the same thing! Change it from Redfish Ross to Speckled Ross!
LOL , thanks for watching.
Good morning to you Sir 🫡
Good morning Garry.
