I was a 14 gay boy in Italy when I saw this movie...I still remember the tender feeling of being portrayed as normal in a picture.This movie helped me so much! I used to listen the soundtrack in bed for hours dreaming about my future and the possibility to fall in love. This year I'm gonna marry my boyfriend and It feels surreal.

@@zandrokos I worked on the film and spent much time with the cast, becoming very close with Miss Coco at the time. She really was great fun and, despite the stress and long hours, I enjoyed every minute of it. I was individually thanked during a speech at the premiere. It represented a turning point, not only in my career but also in my life. I treasure the time I spent with them. The movie still holds a special place in my heart. If only we could relive the past.

@Jay Young There was talk at one point, and the director and principal players got together on the occasion of Trick's 20th anniversary for some publicity photo shoots. Nothing since then and money is likely an issue. Steve Hayes, who played Perry in the film stated "Never say never!"

Trick was a sweet little movie...Both Christian Campbell and John Paul Pitoc were so cute ...the story had a happy ending which was so unusual for gay movies....Coco's part was funny... "...it burns!" lol

IMHO it’s not so much that it was magical and mystical. It’s that to be out and about in the world and experiencing everything live meant that you had to use your wits in the moment. You couldn’t hide behind a screen. As a consequence, New York was far more intense - cruising was an art form and going out to clubs was like going on an expedition to a part of the world you’d never been to before. No glowing screens. No wasting time looking at social media garbage. Just living in the moment.
