A truly wonderful movie. A rare treasure, a creation of genius and a loving gift to countless numbers of gay men. A ground-breaking cinematic experience.
TRICK is remarkably a landmark; it's light, it's fresh, it's accessible, and it makes the setting so vibrantly alive--New York City--that it becomes a main character. I've never been to New York but TRICK made me feel I'm there and it's particularly sad seeing the Twin Towers still standing at a time when there was no division. Anyway, I wish more people have seen TRICK because it's one of the most romantic films of all time
Trick is changed me as a kid. I was cool being gay, never had a issues, coming out, but it made me really proud , since it was wasn't another sad , death, suicide gay movie it was a fun movie, and best of all, was Romantic.
What the heck are all the "gay suicide movies" you all keep yapping about?..... Right before we had The Bird Cage, In & Out, To Wong Foo, Jeffrey, Pricilla Queen of the Desert, Threesome.... We also had Indies like Broadway Damage, I Think I do, etc....
I remember watching this film and being very awwed at the vibrance of it, falling in love with Gabriel, and floored by Mark. Steve Hayes as Perry was just...awesome! I liked that in a decade of tragic gays, it didn't have that tone or end to it. It was so sweet, very fun and showed gay life as normal...which it is
Trick is one of my favorite gay movie .. I love every minute especially They danced when Coco Peru started to sing ' I Am Woman" .. Great dance music .. JP was one of the hottest dancer . Wish i could tip him $$$$$..
Well, when Steve Hayes ''reviewed'' ''trick,'' on his movie review blog, I commented that the film was an updated affectionate tribute to 1930s Hollywood screwball comedies. It is adorable, the kind of film Billy Wilder would've fallen in love with.
Oh plead of innocence, please let's get past the name calling, please on this side of the planet, contact your agents, continue your choice of comedians, put us back together again, oh gosh East? God I hope there's a Trick sequel! I love this movie...and the feeling it gave you about New York City, being young, and gay.

My favorite film of all time, "Trick", 1999.
That's three years ago and I'm still waiting for the sequel.
I wouldn't call it an amazing movie but its such a moment in time.... It's weirdly nostalgic and relatable and gives you a warm fuzzy feeling.

Of course Steve Hayes wouldn't miss this
They couldn’t afford some chairs?????
No wonder Coco Peru preferred going to CVS!
Ugh - the lighting, the acoustics and the camera work were all awful. Might as well have been shooting from across the street.
So any word on the sequal?
What happen to Trick 2!!!!! Whats the word?
HA! Love this flick..... But the kiss at the end is beyond forced and uncomfortable .....
헐...!!!!!
Love 💘 to See TRICK 2 , But can't find it any where 😢 if anyone can tell me where I Can Find it ? 😎👍
