Love the video's. Your comment about thong's made me laugh. I was wondering what you were wearing!!! Glad you clarified that they were flip flops!! Keep up the great work and more videos!!! LOL
Impressive work. I'm also doing some welding on my Ur. How do you manage to weld without blowing holes? I'm struggling, particularly on the boot floor.
Cheers man. Yep, it's certainly not easy sometimes. I find I'm blowing holes more when the old piece of metal I'm welding a new piece of metal to has become thinner. All you can do is adjust the welder settings as best you can, and if possible try to point the welding tip slightly towards the new metal. Also, sometimes I think it's worse with heat build-up, so let it cool, adjust the settings, and try again. For sure, it's a right pain in the arse on occasions, and nothing seems to work, and you end up with a massive mountain of weld next to a hole. Grind it back, and have another go...
Cheers dude! It will have a rubber plug in the speed hole, although this won't completely stop the water getting in anyway. However, there is a gap left at the lowest point of the jacking point, so any water that does get in, will be able to get back out.
Looking really good now getting there
Thanks!... but I think it's only just started.... there is SOOOOOOO much to do!
Nice work!
Thanks...appreciate the feedback!

Great work, but did you also make a possible watertrap in that jacking point🫣
Cheers dude!

Ah, actually, yes... I've fucked up! The gap I've left isn't at the lowest point... shit! I'll drill a couple of weep holes. Cheers man.
