Crafting condition decides how much you get for the touch/synth action. Poor does 50% of the value in the tooltip Normal does 100% Good does 110% Great does 120 or 125%? Excellent does 150% Important is that Poor is a craft killer and the thing you need to reroll. From what i've seen .5 gets rounded down - so 37.5 (excellent) and 12.5 (poor) leave you at 49 instead of 50
I felt the same, but honestly after a few hours your brain adjusts and it doesn't look so strange any more. Since it's free I'd recommend giving it a shot to see if the same happens for you.
