I’m in love with this watch. My God! Amazing value and it’s just stunning. Watches like this go for around $25,000 or more from other brands. This is just phenomenal value.
This watch comes in a 40mm and a 42mm case. The one you have is the 42mm case. I purchased this watch in the 42mm and am very impressed with the quality and accuracy of the movement. I lose about half a second per day. That’s impressive straight out of the box. Also Longines had the Valjoux 7751 modified to a column wheel chronograph. Probably the best value complication watch available.
Very good and extensive review with clear images well in focus. And wonderful watch too! My only point is the music is waaayyy too loud compared to your voice and makes it sometimes hard to understand.
Thank you for your feedback! I'll try to lower the music volume in future videos, stay tuned for more upcoming content. Really Appreciate your comments and suggestions 😊
Picked it up at the AD while vacationing in Miami. I went into the store to look at a Zenith and left with this fine timepiece. You have to see it in person to fully appreciate it.
A great video. I have this watch in my collection and can't recommend it highly enough. The quality, style and value for money is incredible. The complications and craftsmanship encased in this watch, for the cost is unbelievable.
@@sameergarg04 no it's too delicate, it's hands are very fine. There are new additions out in the longines master collection, they are on the longines site, I went looking for them the day before yesterday and they aren't in the shops yet.
Great video! I really like that Longines Master Collection Moonphase watch with 42mm case. Do you think Detroit Watch Company 1701 Moonphase and Longines Master Collection Moonphase are the same watches. They look very alike. Which one would you pick?
I just reccomend this watch to a friend who wants to get into complications. Your video will be helpful to my friend. Spot on video. I just subscribed ☺ cheers 🍻
Hello guys! Can you let the chronograph on this watch run continously? Somebody experience with that for a couple of years? Thanks for the responses! Regards, Olaf
Great video, very thorough and fair. I'm strongly considering adding this one to my collection. Just one thing, use the upper jaws on your calipers to measure inside of the lugs. That's exactly what they're for.
I have the 40mm version. I love it. It is beautiful piece. The dail is very nicely done. It is only printed though without applied elements. The movement is well decorated. Mine has L678.2 movement and only has 48h power reserve. I would have prefered more because I would like to put it away for the weekend and have something more dressed down. The newer releases have a modified spring and I believe it is now aa 64h power reserve.
Great review. I can set my watch easily following your video. I am just doubt that the manual says "Do not adjust the date between 8pm and 3am" but it seemed you changed the date by the time.
I have one of these. The difficulty is that the crown requires long nails to pull out, especially to the eecond position. Even then, there is danger of chipping the nail!
Which is more expensive, by the way. Longines Code for 40mm: L2.673.4.78.3 and Code for 42mm L2.773.4.78.3. I have the 42mm and it just goes fine with these 2mm extra.
Is it safe to stop the chronograph and never reset it? For aesthetic reasons, I would like to stop the chronograph somewhere outside of the moon phase display (somewhere between 4 to 8 hours) and then not reset the chronograph, do you think this could damage the watch?
I wouldn't recommend it as it can cause problems when you accidentally try to reset it when the movement is not charged up. Chronographs are sensitive so the less you use them the less wear and tear happens and fewer servicing are needed unless its a column wheel which will need service regardless.
@@stewartmckeand8953 Hello Stewart. I like Longines watches, I own a number of them. Too me the dial is too cluttered, too much going on. I have to look carefully, so that I do not misread the time. I thought that I would get used to it, but I haven't. for a multi complication watch like this, it is great value for the money. I wouldn't part with it, but this watch bugs me.
Hi John. I know what you mean by the dial being too busy. Try starting the chronograph and wait until the second hand is in the same position as the date hand. This seems to make it look less busy.
it's a real shame that at this price point and above you don't get a better quality strap. A genuine £250-£300 croc or alligator strap would be more fitting as I think in person these look and feel cheap
Do all longines watches come with the same box & packaging? I’ve seen other longines come with a different box which is a lot smaller and different to this one.
@@seanchin134 I see. So for example, would the longines conquest vhp come in the same box as this or the smaller one that we usually see in most unboxing videos for that model?
@@eswarravi5918 Most of the unboxing we see were from the Master Collection. It is a Red Box with white outer. I don`t have the conquest collection, not sure about the box.

My heart almost stopped stopped you shaked the watch to give some power specially with such complications

Just got my l2.673 today, absolutely in love with it. How will I know the year of manufacture? Appreciate help in this . Much thanks
You can check with Longines by providing them with the serial number.
It's a triple date moonphase chronograph. But it is not an annual calendar. Nice watch, if not a little busy.
You have the 42MM version not the 40mm version that is why you are getting those measurements on the case diameter.
Could you please advise me on which watch I should choose between this watch and the Omega Speedmaster Triple Calendar?
Thats your personal decision, see what fits best for your use and on your wrist.
Excellent review- not sure if you can lower the background music so your voice can be heard better ?
Cant do it for this one but noted for future 😊
Music is too high
Will adjust in future vids thanks for the feedback 😊
I HAVE A TISSOT BRIDGEPORT JUST LIKE YOURS BUT MINE HAS THE PUSH BUTTONS AND CROWN AND BEZEL ALL 18K GOLD.

How to change the date? 'Cause mine is stuck in 2017 :)))))
The video shows how to do it 😊. If it still doesn't change the mechanism may have been damaged.

Thanks!
I guess the size would be 42 mm which I owned the one, but it is 2 tone with steel and gold bracelet

This box is for Master Collection, there is a bigger one for Heritage Classic, 2 times bigger
What’s the reference #

The watch is a complete calendar, not an annual one. You have to set it 5 times a year.
Yes I believe I have stated that in the video at 19:50 that it is a complete calendar not annual.
7:15.
Price??
In the video 😊
what's your wrist size
6.75”
Hard to believe there is no GMT hand
Maybe next time, you kick the the jazz brass band out..!
Imagine nowadays it’s around 3900 here😅
It is a perpetual calendar watch. If it is anything like Breitling, JLC, or IWC ... you only reset it on leap leap year
This is not a perpetual calendar, its an annual calendar.
Why it’s not perpetual..
This is an annual calendar complication. Perpetual calendars account for leap years also which this one does not. It’s explained in the video.
