- U.S. Marines from Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., visited children at the Stafford County Head Start Program in Fredericksburg, Va., to deliver Christmas presents donated to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. Second Lieutenant Michael Bell describes his experience "playing Santa," as he and his fellow Marines hand out more than 300 toys to the kids.
I've been a Marine for eight years and have contributed to Toys for Tots every year, I will support their cause for the rest of my life. This video makes me even more proud to be a Marine. Semper Fi~

I am a 4th generation United States Marine. Served in first Gulf War in '90-'91.Upon coming home I had a heavy heart and admitted feeling guilt.A brother Marine that organizes our local Toys 4 Tots drive every year, invited me to volunteer with the collecting, sorting and finally the distributing of toys to families in need. That was December 1991.
27 years have passed, and I have volunteered in some way each year. There is no greater deed or gift I have ever been given than that of seeing each and every child have gifts to open on Christmas morning. No child should wake up to find that "Santa didn't come"...The United States Marine Corps Reserve will carry on this tradition, as long as the real heroes of this event keep donating new unwrapped toys and donations each year. Thank you for donating to Toys 4 Tots folks!!! YOU AND YOU ONLY MAKE CHRISTMAS FOR THOSE LESS FORTUNATE GREAT!!! THANK YOU, MERRY CHRISTMAS , SEMPER FIDELIS.......
That is what it is all about - I love being a Marine and doing Toys for Tots every year - it is a lot of hard work but every second is worth it

This right here is the true meaning of Christmas! It's a very beautiful message that the Marines are sending to small children that aren't as fortunate as others. I can't wait until I ship, and the Second Lieutenant is right, it really is a great feeling to help others in need just by volunteering time out of your day. HOORAH and Merry Christmas, Marines!

OMG, that's the most tenderhearted & kind, heartfelt thing anyone can do for our children in this country! And to see some of our own Marines out there giving those less fortunate children in that school just made me that much more PROUD of our men & women in uniform, serving their/our country, doing just a little bit more for our little ones is such a wonderful, heartwarming thing to see! My son is a Marine & I know he'd do the same thing!! He does already whenever he can...OORAH!!! Go USMC!!

The fact is they are our future, my only hope is that they are able to make a better world so that one day we marines are no longer needed and when that day comes ill gladly take my boots of and lay my rifle down
