He started very young, the voice changes when you grow up
I know, but to change from the typical meralcore edgy kid and even having a vocal cord injury, which its pretty dangerous, to what his voice can do now its insane.
I feel like he took care of his voice after his injury. Maybe it healed, and he was able to finally learn the proper technique. Because now his vocal range is crazy big. And his screams sound so good.
@@narcisista2555 I think that fact he was only 22 probably helped. You recovered faster when your young. He also actually started taking care of his voice and got lessons. His technique is way better than it used to be. He also kinda lucked out, the injury coulda been way worse. Now he can sing higher than ever and his tone is so much cooler.
Honestly I wish they’d do a remaster on A Prophecy.
British sounding Danny sounds better though, Danny uses an american accent when singing now which ruins the sound

@@Magnetic5oh bullet for my valentine is a Welsh band, also even Ben Bruce stated that Danny purposefully uses an american accent and style when singing now, a southern American accent like a person that sings country music but he also sounds different because of when he tore his vocal chord and because of his past alcohol and drug abuse, it messed with his voice and aged his looks, he is alot older looking than he actually is
Danny worsnop 2013 and down sounded very much British except for the song moving on where he uses the American accent while singing, all the other songs he sounds British still on the from death to Destiny albulm
In his other band We Are harlot and his solo music, Danny uses the American accent and southern/western style of singing and he also does it in asking alexandria's self titled albulm and the albums after that

I completely understand his transformation from emo kid to the kind of grungy country gothic dealio he had going on. Both scenes are loaded with passion, drugs, emotional turmoil, and using music as an outlet to deal with personal issues. Usually country gothic is a more "mature" scene

I love Danny and his voice especially like 2009-10 mid 2012-2013 etc and when he joined Asking again....but the thing I don't get about him is he said he was "never really into metal" I just find it hard to believe tbh also he was into stuff like Deaf Leopard and Guns N Roses and Aerosmith....and now he goes on about how good Adele is.... please someone help me understand this..

@@Amazing_Universe-o5x Actually the band is fine with what they do now, if they had a problem with it they'd likely have him leave the band again. He left in I think it was 2015 because the band and himself had different views on what they wanted to do musically.
@@xgormo9805 well the fact ben said fdtd was a painful album to make and it wasn’t what they wanted, to then saying it was “what they wanted” when Danny rejoined really paints how they will bend their ass for Danny. and I don’t think a band can want to write heavy music and literally a year later decide to be arena rock and not want any heavy bits what so ever.
