+chrizz pach Danny's Direction was almost a completely different genre, which honestly wasn't fair to AA. We're obviously not gonna get what we got in AAs first two albums because they too wanted to go in a different direction, a more mature sound while staying true to their roots, which is proven in their new stuff.

I think its very unfair how some people are giving Ben shit for talking Danny down. As fans we probably only saw a quarter of how Danny really is...none of us have any idea how he was with the rest of the band members behind the scenes and we don't know what he put those guys through but I think its pretty obvious that Danny stopped caring about Asking Alexandria a long time ago. Seeing Danny give up on something that they've all worked so hard to keep alive was obviously very hard on them (it would be on anyone) so I personally think Ben has every reason to be a bit hostile towards him.
I don't think it was easy for Danny neither, i mean he took the decision of leave a project where he has been very years, and when your are not feeling good with something is really hard to keep going, so he choose whatever makes him happy so he can put all of his passion into it (sorry for my english)

+Clifford Affliction Well, from what i understood, Danny did not want to scream anymore, he was very hard to get into the studio and developed a drinking problem, and eventually left, if you look at the channel you see that they have recorded a couple of acoustic covers with Danny's amazing rock voice, and i think that was a very good sigh that he was done with metalcore and wanted to do something else. Personally i think We Are Harlot is so much better because they do not use autotune in their songs which is usually a sigh that a band has little talent but that's just me
+Niloc Namgreb Just an FYI dude, almost every single recording band nowadays uses autotune to some degree. Even country singers. It polishes up the final sound of the album.

Danny is one of the best Vocalists out there for any kind! Clean as well with the hardcore vocals, AA isn't going be as popular without Danny. I admit the new song with Denis is cool but Danny always had a better voice and his far more talented then Denis or any major screamo bands lol. #Respectful Opinion

Ben has acted like a loser about the whole situation, as for this guy, we all know that Danny has been clean since rehab and drinks alot less than he used to, so that is obviously no excuse. Its because Ben doesnt like the fact that Danny had to change his voice because of all the damage he had caused to his vocals (and i personally prefer his new voice, the screams sounded alot better, and his cleans are great). Also we do know that Ben considers FDTD their worst album (which I disagree with, it was better than R&R IMO, and lyrically/vocally it was by far their best album) What pisses me off most about him is the fact that he says he will not discuss Danny or write songs about Danny, but the first two singles released were all about Danny (lets face it, they werent great singles either... they sucked) and all he does during this entire interview is bag danny out and comparing him to Dennis (I mean no dis-respect to Dennis, but he is an awful singer compared to Danny)

I believe that both Danny and Dennis were good in their own ways. When it came to the band AA. They both gave the band something special. Danny left cause he didn't feel it anymore oh well then Dennis is going to continue on the legacy of the band.

The man has got a great voice but he didn't give a shit about this band and it was quite obvious, Every performance and every interview was half assed bullshit and quite disappointing. Listening to Reckless & Relentless ad hearing Dennis makes me question if I should keep AA as my favorite band anymore. For example in their new song Undivided sounds great. Danny was until his Vocal cords got screws up, Then he sounded pretty bad live, plus he wanted the band the Mello down to the 80s type of band, but Ben wanted to still be heavy. That's why Death to destiny wasn't the best new album for a reason. If you listen to all the tracks in order, It starts out heavy like most of us wanted, but as it goes on it starts to turn into a bunch of just soft singing, n' stuff.
