As Crohns is a chronic disease there is currently not yet a "fix" per se, but lifestyle and dietary planning, medical treatments, and surgeries, in Erin's case, help manage her condition to the point she has maintain a great quality of life. There continues to be more research into Crohns disease, understanding the genetic and environmental determinants, the biological mechanism of why the immune systems works, and applied into precise treatments and management strategies.
