Can you plase check if there really are just 6 bit colors? Every Datasheet says it has just 6 bit colors, which would make it a quite awful display, even tho everything else is great

My question is: if I plug this monitor into my laptop's HDMI or USB-C port, would the window's log in screen show on this monitor? do I still need the laptop's screen to log into window? Second question: what if I have a dual boot's OS selection menu, will that show on the external monitor too?
The best price for a device like this should not be more than 100 USD or 400 AED. A used iPad/windows tab is far more reasonable and practical which comes with battery operation.

I can’t connect by usb, works only on two cables -Hdmi +usb on Mac M1 bigsur. I was trying everything. Two weeks waiting for reply from viewsonic. No help, no advices. Not recommend
NO. Glossy finish gives me a headache. I want to watch what's on the display, not the random reflection of the ceiling light or whatever light source in that room.

Not with onboard tech. But you can always hook up a video transmitter.

Can the stylus be used with samsung dex mode for writing and simple drawing?
Any device that supports touch should trigger the monitor touch but I didn't try it with Dex

There are different specs of USBC. It needs to be the spec that also carries video. Obviously your laptop does not have this spec.

I just tested it on my windows 11 laptop and it shows a black screen, sorry man. See if you can repair the laptop yourself for cheaper.

Yes it works with MacOS Catalina and intel based Macs and it will support MacOS Big Sur and M1 Macs later
