That's pretty rude, she is young but she should learn to overcome these issues. One has to be restrained when talking during these interviews and allow others to speak as well. For some it comes naturally but all should improve and work on it. It comes off so disrespectful to interrupt constantly.
Damn... Love the whole cast but hands down to Freya Allan and her character (Ciri) this season... Amazing character arc and development as well as an amazing growth in her acting. She's going places.
I think we were watching different shows. Dialogues were stiff, and Freya's acting skills were on level of Xena Warrior Princess, but the difference is that im Xena it was like that on purpose, but in Witcher it was all serious
@@tommyboman7735 For me this season is BIG dissapointment. Yennefer's vocabulary is made from 2 words: fuck and firefucker. It wasn't a character I know from the books. Also, they changed a lot of plots for sake of action, with Ciri killing witchers in their sleep (?) WTF was that?? Highly trained mutated monster killers get done like that. In books there was like 4 witchers in Kaer Morhen not 30. It was a species on extinction. I don't like how they changed the plot from the books that was already perfect. Maybe not action packed all the time, but atleast good
Freya Allan is an amazing actress, don’t get me wrong, but I feel like she should’ve let Anya speak more during this interview, too much interruptions on her part and you can clearly see that Anya is affected by it. Love them both tho💕

@@veevoir Very well observed. He is of Russian and Polish Jewish ancestry. I also think some of the mannerisms that might seem overenthusiastic are a result of him being really passionate but not being quite able to express it in English. @@maverick608 Season 1 was a huge disappointment. I’ve read the books twice and wrote dozens of articles on them and the games for my blog. Some people are acting like season 1 was accurate, which is...odd. It wasn’t.

Freya is interrupting Anya all the time, that's a shame. I would have really loved to hear what Anya thinks and what she has to say. She seems so shy, but really interesting
I loved the Witcher 3 videogame and it's so cool to see the show be successful. I hope it's even better in series 3 and begins to draw in the GOT crowds.
Freya was annoyingly dominating this interview. I hope she doesn’t turn out to be cocky. Anya on the other hand is a very mature and patient person who handled it like a pro, kudos for her :)
I think it's a combination of a difference in personalities and (predominantly) the difference in age. Freya interviews like a teenager that has a million things going through her head every second and she can't help herself but say whatever comes to mind (including when others are talking). I get what you mean, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's annoying. She's just young and excitable. You are 100% right on Anya handling it like a pro. It comes off as a patient, nurturing older sister with her younger sister.
@@FraksureX ah the good old “she can’t help herself because..” argument. Lol. It has nothing to do with age my friend. It’s unkind and impolite to interrupt another person. Especially when you do it continuously in every interview you give. It’s annoying.

I think they keep the spirit of the characters from book quite well and with the new additions and changes to the story it is at least fresh and as a viewer I am not certain what will happen. So in the end I see it as a good thing. First season was for me a cool demo compilation of stories (analogically same as Sapkowski wrote and published the stories before the books) pulled up by Henry and all the monsters. I didn't like the unexplained and chaotic time line and also I did not like too much performances of the other actors. Season 2 feels like the main story begun, timeline is clear and the actors improved a lot. And I love how they present the world including the broad picture, politics, continent's history & future. @@frontallappen4981 Yeah, Mads Mikkelsen took flak a while back for the same thing, but it was a water bottle, we just dont have many glass water bottles in the states

Proud to see a Danish actor in one of my fav shows in a long time (vesemir - Kim Bodnia) And Henry Cavill just proved once again that he is the perfect actor for Geralt!!!
Lars Mikkelsen who plays Stregobor is also Danish, they're both amazing!
They ruined Vesemir in this series....

@@munkqiking7207 have you seen the series? I don.t wan't to spoil but he's dumb old man in this.
@@munkqiking7207 This screenplay was created by lazy minds.
Their little family is so cute I can't even.
Geralt and Yen are the parents,Ciri is their daughter and Jaskier is the cool uncle.
Freya Allan has the proper attitude for Ciri's role. "I spent so much time training", etc. I love it. Jestem szczesliwy :3
I'm so happy Henry and Kim focused on Geralt and Vesimir's relationship, because it was REALLY GOOD!
Freya is an amazing actress, but I could not oversee how she keeps interrupting while others are speaking.
That's pretty rude, she is young but she should learn to overcome these issues. One has to be restrained when talking during these interviews and allow others to speak as well. For some it comes naturally but all should improve and work on it. It comes off so disrespectful to interrupt constantly.
Yes, she talks alot thougj
She does it on the other interviews I've seen of her too 😬
The acting this season was phenomenal like I could really feel what the characters felt. what a crazy ending
I love them so much. Just started watching the witcher three days ago and I have only one episode left. They're definitely one of my favorite casts.

Anya is amazing actress she slay. She is incredible
Freya Allan is an amazing actress, don’t get me wrong, but I feel like she should’ve let Anya speak more during this interview, too much interruptions on her part and you can clearly see that Anya is affected by it. Love them both tho💕
Yes I agree!!!!
I agree too. In almost every interview she’s dominant over Anya. Really annoys me.
Anya looks really tired.
Freya loves the limelight. She's got all of that this season yet...
I agree Freya doesn't alow Anya to complete her sentences.
Omg I love Anya so much. She is like will someone hush this self-obsessed child up please but has the class and elegance to not say anything
Exactly!! Freya talks too much and doesn’t give Anya a chance to talk.
They’ve come to be close friends that’s why they have that relationship and she feels so comfortable telling her basically “get on with it” lol
Feyra is 20 and Anya is 25 😭
@@akagob_ okay but it’s kinda unprofessional not letting the other person finish or talking over.
How can no one talk about how Kim Bodnia shitted out 2 minutes of pure poetry about challenz
I have so much respect for all the actors and crew on this show. They truly give it their all.
Kim's acting was superb this season. One thing I noticed tho is that he has a drunk personality lol at first I thought he might be inebriated at the time but it's like this on all his interviews.
I think "jovial" is a better word for that :D One thing I noticed in the interviews - he might be Danish, but he has a very Eastern-European sense of humor
@@veevoir Very well observed. He is of Russian and Polish Jewish ancestry. I also think some of the mannerisms that might seem overenthusiastic are a result of him being really passionate but not being quite able to express it in English. In Danish, he is usually quite well-spoken but still enthusiastic as all hell. Also, the cursing is a result of English swear words being used extremely liberally in Danish, where they aren't taboo.
As a Dane and can tell you that he was trying to be funny and taking a piss on things, yet he is kind of crazy in real life too and he doesn't need to be on anything to be that kind of crazy
They were all great this season, Anya blew it out the water. Loved it

Those who know the games know that the story really is about ciri. Freya did a great job. I'm v excited for the next seasons.
Its true, the point of the games was to protect and find ciry as gerald
Books are all about Ciri too 😉

So no one’s talking about how beautiful Anya Chalotra is? and she even looks like Camila Cabello 😳
"you're not entirely sure what has happened but you know something bad has happened, you then spend a LOT of time thinking about how bad its going to be and how thats going to effect the rest of my action career." big mood. as someone who enjoys summiting mountains and volcanos alike and mountain biking as often as I can....thats exactly how I felt and thought when i ruptured my achilles tendon. gods that....apprehension. especially with covid going on so i couldnt get the proper medical attention to get it sorted and getting told i wouldnt be able to hike any inclines more than 15 degrees. what a gut punch.
I absolutely loved it ❤ Congrats to Henry and the rest of the Actors.
I absolutely hated the second series. I believe anyone who read the books did if they don't lie to themselves. Not planning to watch third unless I hear from my trusted friends the show stopped ruining the franchise. Ruined potential, I pity the actors who now have to stand by the product they are employed to create, even though some of them (Henry for sure) must know by now it's a piece of ... you know what.
Henry Cavill saying "F*CK" is worth an Oscar by itself
Amen!! 🙃
Agree
He's very good at it, but I think in the second season Freya has the best F-bomb.
Every time when he says F*CK I get a bit warmer inside 🔥 because I’m sure he does it as convincingly as he says it! 🥰
I'll never forget Ciri screaming F*ck a bunch of times in that one episode. That has huge meme material and I laughed a lot. That, and Vilgefortz yelling about something being "NECESSARY!" while shaking Tissaia
The most awesome thing I think is,the cast. They actually know their stuff. They can feel their respective characters. They know who they are and what they are doing.
Anya and Henry are my favourites
freya won't let anyone talk, holy shit.
Ok and? I wanna hear her speak tf.
🤨
Henry is so damm beautiful❤️both actresses are stunning. The cast is so good in the series
Honestly enjoyed it & finished in one sitting. Can't wait for the next season what a cliffhanger! Btw i just realized Anya reminded me of Camila Cabello, both are gorgeous.
Anya and Freya are so goddamn good at their roles. Love the cast of the series!
Anyone else bothered by Freya constantly interrupting Anya? Like calm down girl haha.
She does it all the time, even during s1 press interviews. Sometimes the extrovert x introvert pairing doesn’t work
I came here to write this. I wanted to hear Anya speak, as Yen is my favorite character. Freya continuously cutting her off is so frustrating.
Yeah maybe she was nervous but it came off a tad annoying/rude
Same thought 😂 maybe Freya is comfortable interrupting because they only have 4 years gap of age 😂 she's not intimidated by Anya poor anya :( she's my favorite character
This season was glorious
You read the books? I have no qualms for those who don't read the books but surely if you did then this season was a huge disappointment.
@@maverick608 Season 1 was a huge disappointment. I’ve read the books twice and wrote dozens of articles on them and the games for my blog. Anyone who wanted an accurate depiction ought to have given up in 2019. The show is good if you accept that the writers don’t care about accuracy and are writing decent fan fiction equivalent. Some people are acting like season 1 was accurate, which is...odd. It wasn’t.

This season was amazing, especially ep01, best episode ever
I've never seen Bodnia before and he's so different from the perfect Vesemir he plays. Exceptional performance.
They should really separate Anya and Freya in interviews. I know they are the female leads but.. the cutting off and over talking is getting annoying. They should have learned from season 1 press runs
I don't know about you but I'm ready for S3! 😏🙌🏻
Just loved this season. This gives me those GOT vibes which is fantastic.
Lies
to be honest i was veryy sceptical at the season 1 cast aside from geralt and jaskier but season 2 really blew my fuckin mind, yen and cir and everyone literally act like they really are the CHARACTER themselves. the acting was so natural it was amazing!
I feel like Freya Allan might need a bit more media training (maybe she was just nervous).
She did an amazing job (especially considering she’s only 20 years old) on the show, but seems anxious in interviews and cuts across without knowing when to stop or pause so others can talk…
I feel like Anya Chalotra is a lot more poised and relaxed, even though she’s only a few years older than Freya 🤷🏼♀️.
I felt the same about the actres who plays Ciri....based on this and few other interviews.I just binged S2, loved the season :)
Yeah I felt awkward. Anya really showed patience with Freya in the first few clips of them.
I thought the same thing about Freya .
I don’t like how she cuts Anya whenever she’s speaking
Yes thought the same
She's 25 but that's still young so I agree
This is definitely a passion project for Henry Cavill!!
Can wait for season 3! Season 2 was so good!
This was better than the other interviews I've seen for season 2

Yenneffer of Vengerberg and Geralt of Rivia beautiful and favorite couple❤
Everyone is talking about Freya and Anya. But, Henry is really a good actor. he again proved that he is the perfect role for Geralt .. loved his fight scenes this season
Anya showing up to an interview in pajamas is a mood.
Every time Ciri said "All Right" this season, I fell in love a little more :)
I need a portal to Season 3,4,5. Don't worry, I'm jobless until the end of 2021 🥴
Haha take me with you please.
Read the books! They really give a great perspective to the video series.

Anya looks like a sibling of yYennefer. Like they are obviously the same person, but just look so different in and out of character.
Was hoping season two would have more episodes. Hopefully they will try and add more content for season 3.
Me to. Its hard to fill one book into 8 episodes, and there are 6 books to go kind of.
I agree I wish they would do 10 episodes but I don’t think they are going to change it
I agree, I needed 10 episodes
They stretched Blood of Elves as far as they could. There’s not much plot in it, it’s relationship driven. They had to add several plot lines just to get to 8 episodes.
@@DaeLh Nonsense - they almost completely abandoned the books, so your argument is pointless. A piece of me died during each of the episodes when I watched them ruin the franchise I love some much. Painful experience. Probably won't have the strength to watch anything from the third season if it's going to be made.

Great season that was a great improvement compared to season 1.
The 3 main actors did a fantastic job and also many actors of side characters nailed their role.
Great ? Lmao this show is trash , everything seem fake
@@maxtheflyingdutchman7069 Please explain.
@@JackoBanon1 Everything seems fake in this series, the costumes the wigs that we see from far away, the characters are too clean on them sometimes. The lenses which take away all emotion for the actors, I find that despicable. The artistic direction is a disaster.
@@maxtheflyingdutchman7069 To me apparently fake seems to be only the snow. The snow really does not look like real snow at all. Besides that I am pretty satisfied as a fan of both books and PC games. At first I was not happy with many changes in the story against the books, but then I changed my mind. It is great. 9/10 for the second season. The first season would get 7/10 from my side.

They fumbled the ball long ago maybe if they actually cared two ways about it and treated it as more than a vanity project it could’ve had a fraction of the potential but that ship has sailed.
@@Just_a_Jape So true.
@@Just_a_Jape may I ask why you think they already messed up?
@@AuthenticInFashionThe writing is just not up to par. The writers clearly thought they could turn this into their own thing but it’s failed miserably. The characters and dialogue is just awful. Yennefer and dandelion in particular are very mishandled. Moments in the books that are supposed to be significant like the “you’re much more than that” line fall flat on their face because it’s not earned at all. I could go on and on but the point is that some people may like it, but this will never come close to the potential game of thrones had simply because the people directing and writing don’t care about the source material at all and just don’t have the talent.
