I just ate oseng2 mercon last week. If she told you it has 10 chillies in it, I think it's the standard spicyness(?), if not lower, in Indonesia. At least the one that I eat is more spicy than in the video. If you didn't believe me, you just need to google "sambal". It's a condiment to almost all of our food. It's made mainly of just crushed chillies with shallots. Or you just visit jakarta and see that in almost every food stalls/restaurant have sambal in every table, we just love it. When she said it's okay, she mean it. Look how she didn't even flinch after eating it.

I just ate oseng2 mercon last week. If she told you it has 10 chillies in it, I think it's the standard spicyness(?), if not lower, in Indonesia. At least the one that I eat is more spicy than in the video.
If you didn't believe me, you just need to google "sambal". It's a condiment to almost all of our food. It's made mainly of just crushed chillies with shallots. Or you just visit jakarta and see that in almost every food stalls/restaurant have sambal in every table, we just love it.
