Gor that 1 week ago. What a driver they have inside . Thick sound in the lower frequency. As they should sound. They make their own drivers and they nail the drivers . Great tone . Very natural in the lower frequency.

I got my first iem (moondrop chu-2) it has a good bass but the voices sounds a little boxy

16:55 its true, but it depends on the grade of the vent tuning filter, beyond lets say y2-y3 there is also change in the bass quantity in adition to changed scaling of the frequencies due to lowering of pinagain. Did you try to change nozzle filter for 400 grade one already on the ea500? Much better sound compare to the OG layers of filters IMO :) its actually what Michael Bruce did...

Whats too much about the ew200? Just asking cu I'm also looking at these 2
deep insert them with dual flange it helps with the brightness
also research in tips that reduce brightness, and maybe trry doing some eq

I want to upgrade from the ZS10PROX witout spending too much, what can you suggest or recommend friend... I saw this for example: polaris,(you said that is no upgrade kz zs10pro x vs polaris, but i wanted to still including it in this tiny list; trio, rhapsody ? Ziigaat Nuo, TINHIFI T2, Simgot Ew200, BLON BL03, Zero 2? Cronch? Kiwiears Cadenza? Kz AS16 Pro? HIDIZS MS1 Galaxy or any other you think is way too good and NOT expensieve, budget price, cheap.

Probably vent tape mod
I thought it was too bright for my taste, so I tried modding for the first time.
Micropore tape over the vent next to the nozzle (I used 2 pieces) I changed the foam in the black nozzle to a higher density. I had some from an old box. Trimmed to similar size to existing black nozzle one.
It sounds really good now, couldn't be happier.
I power it through a Truthear DAC and I already had a balanced cable.

Toe simgot is a competitive for the price, however their elevation compensation in the upper scale is not for me, I have the EA500 ,yes very detailed but can only listen for a little bit before blood starts coming out of my eyes,lol.
I couldn't wait for the EPZ 520 , because of your video - forgot which one but you had $350-$500. Items and the ISN H30 with them and description is what I'm looking for.

Heyya! I'm currently eyein both this and the tkzk ouranos. Still don't know what to get but as a point of reference I really liked my wan'er but felt like it was lacking in technicalities. Recently had to give my wan'ers away so I'm looking for a replacement!
Which one do you think would be a better choice?(both are priced at 40$ in the Philippines :D) I really like a clear treble and a detailed iem. But I still want to hear that sub bass though. I listen to genres like classical, jpop, dubstep, phonk, ballads. And is looking for something that sounds more natural and alive when listening to songs like merry go round of life and playing god!

Hai Toni... I have Tinhifi T2 Original. Is EW200 an Upgrade from Tin T2 or just a sidegrade ? I love the sound of T2 but the fitting is sometime quite annoying.
Hi yes the EW200 is definitely an upgrade. I also have the T2 original and it's fantastic but the EW is just a more modern , better overall tuned IEM...ohh and it fits amazing!
got the ew200, sounds a bit thin and hollow, lacks body and punch in the low freqs. Also mine came with a slight channel imbalance.

What tips are you using?
Try BGVP 08 or Letshuoer style tips....they warm things up a little.
KZ Starline is also a good option

KZ's PR2 is a worthy sub-$50 contender that doesn't get the recognition it deserves, IMO (albeit not easy to drive). Once the initial hype faded, it seems pretty much ignored. That said, when the PR1 Pro is on sale for under $70, I'd easily rec that one over the PR2, since it has a warmer, more musical sound and is much easier to drive.
You must have the mesh version because my doesn’t sound anything like what you described no matter what I do.
@@colddish Sad that KZ would pull a fast one by changing the design after release and after the reviews had been published. My experience with them is exactly as Akros described in his video review on Jan 7, 2023, and I agree with him in that they're KZ's best IEMs. Period.
I boughtthe pr1 pro and it sounded amazing for the 15 minutes it lived. It died suddenly and I got no love from the vendor, could not return them, so I bought the pr2 original hbb tuned one,and its really fabulous as well. Really fantastic. But you never know what you will get with kz, they change tuning and design without notice.

Sir which one is suitable for longer listning and comfort,,ew200 or cadenza?
I've heard the cadenza is more warm and laid back so that probably fairs well with mindless listening(I do this a lot lmao)
Take my words with a grain of salt though, I don't have a cadenza. Did have a wan'er though, some people like the wan'er more and some like the cadenza more... I personally like the 15$ difference between the two cause I'm close to poor. Wan'er is 20$ cadenza is 35$

Metal is very.energetic so you do run the risk of it getting fatiguing if you listen loud.
However of you listen normal level I don't think it's a problem
Besides you can always try a foam tip which helps control all that brightness.

I don't listen to Alot of 70s but the EW200 definitely more detailed than SG01
@@akros9333 thanks so much.. Stuff like early Yes and King crimson etc can be challenging for a lot of iems, the kz esx I am using now just turns it into mud and clashing peaks, and I just bought a proper dap, finally (r3 sabre)
Dude prog is my genre and I entered the market with Salnotes Zero 7hz. I felt like I had been reborn, after using JVC ear clips for years. You might want to look into those.
I'm looking to upgrade from the 7hz and the prog genre isn't discussed much in the IEM community, thanks for helping me learn that prog music doesn't just need good upper mids and treble.
@@pureskill123 I ended up with two that complement each other, the kz pr2 and the qkz hbb Khan, Khans for stuff that needs deep bass kick like Zappa and the pr2 for stuff that needs accuracy and detail like Crimson.. real happy with this set up, but had to buy the kz pr2 twice, the first set was a disaster.. the set I have now turns out to be the original one, also hbb tuned and its brilliant but needs tons of power and double ended output (there are three iterations the middle one is garbage, first is great, third sounds like pr1 hifi edition, the middle one can be recognised by a little strip of sort of black cloth for tuning on the driver).

The EW200 is definitely an upgrade over the zero. As for the length of the videos... well I have tried to make it smaller but then I end up not saying everything. I try to be as comprehensive and thorough as possible so that people don't spend money in vain. Nevertheless I appreciate your input and suggestion. Thank you

Does EW200 sounds better than T3+ ?? In overall sound mid range treble and soundstage

@@Smzxe EW is more open and detailed than T3+.....mids and treble more detailed. Probably a little better tonality on the T , but I guess it will be a personal thing.
Soundstage also bigger on the EW.
As for driver flex....none whatsoever ....at least in my case!!
