Tommy is very good that is for sure but Rami Malek did an awesome job of playing Freddie in Bohemian Rhapsody, and singing like him too, brilliant movie if you have never seen it.
@@ukchris64 Rami Malek is NOT a singer.. he is an actor.... when actors are in character they can play and sound like anyone... if you compare Tommy's vocal range to Freddie's vocal range you will realize how close they are.... i firmly believe Freddie Mercury is by far the BEST male singer we've had over the past 100 years... and the closest thing we've gotten since Freddie is Tommy Johansson... the problem is Tommy is an unfortunate SECRET... he is not very well known... if Tommy's songs were played on American radio/TV, his popularity would explode
You are quite right, only found out last night who the singer was actualy doing the singing, a guy called Mac Martel, either way not knocking Tommy at all, in fact Ido like Tommy's stuff quite a lot.
There is another man from I believe in Australia that portrayed him in Aussie Has talent or something in that.

@@dakken74 Marc Martel is great singer, he does most of the singing on the Bohemian Rhapsody movie BUT he's a Freddie impersonator....He would probably be in Queen if he had a bit more of his own style, Brian and Roger didn't want someone trying to be Freddie on stage.
@@markbrock4427 he's not an impersonator per say, his natural singing voice already sounded a lot like Freddy, so he just just adjusted his style to sound more like Freddy.

Omg! One of Queens best. One special thing about this song is that Brian May is singing the first verse in the studio version, but it seems not many people knows it. It also has one of the best emotional guitar solos. Have a great friday everyone.

I heard this song a few days ago for the first time. That question, "Who wants to live forever," can have so many meanings, starting with disdain and going on to find others who thinks as the narrator does.
Tommy could probably sing a page from the dictionary and still be a hit.
