The harmonic play between Cruz Contreras and Trisha Gene Brady is pure magic and with a new lineup in tow The Black Lillies sound better than they ever have. The beauty of "Mercy" is majestic in both tone and prose. This is from The Extended Play Sessions filmed on August 16th.
Absolutely the BEST MUSIC I have heard in quite some time. I am passing this around but only to my friends that I know will understand this amazing piece of music played and sung by some sexy voices. I can't wait to find out more about them. And I am 81! I have been around!! Seen some great musicians; from Cab Calloway and Sophie Tucker (does anyone out there remember them) look them up! they are worth it. Johnny Ray and his Little White Clouds. Nancy Wilson. On and On and On. Let's not forget the poet, Rod McKuen. I have also "Been to Town" as has Frank Sinatra who recorded so many of Rod's songs. Meanwhile let's have a little MERCY.

Absolutely stunning song that touches my heart deeply and brings tears to my eyes.......beautiful rendition. One of my fav songs for sure on the new album set to drop in Oct 2015. Cannot wait to hear what other treasures will be on the album. C
