Astarion saying he'd be jealous of Wyll if he had an incubus for a patron instead of Mizora? Oh dang, this game actually outright says so if its characters aren't straight, instead of just implying by making the romance options playersexual. Neat!
Maaaan those horns and hair in early access look so neato, though I do enjoy the more next gen realistic hair, kinda hope they add more nice little like race-specific hairstyles too just to add a bit more to the immense hurdle making that right character in the creation lol.

I play Astarion as a Ranger Stalker with bounty hunter background, and it is the first time for me that I deleted my self-made char to play a premade char WITHOUT regretting it. 🤗

Only then did Astarion initiate dialogue about choosing between them. I had not progressed his romance to act 2 confessions yet
He only wants to WANT to seduce you to secure your loyalty. I think he knows it's risky the entire time, because at that point he already kind of likes you, or at least has more of a connection to you than the randos he'd seduce in BG. I think in his head he's like "just like old times, no strings attached it'll be fiiiine just act cool and have no feelings shit i have feelings shit get rid of the feelings oh no." He's playing coy but he's internally squirming cause HE KNOWS where he could be headed.
I think it's partly that, but imo, a lot of it is that he doesn't know what to do with feelings of attraction or romantic interest outside of using them for flirtation and sex. Because if you bring down his approval rating to the point where he's super annoyed with you because of it, he'll reject you at the party pretty savagely, potential manipulation be damned.

Most of it was at the tiefling party, the only one from the goblin party is when he mentions “the drow”. ^^ & his approval was high, he’s just less enthusiastic about explaining fun when you’re planning to spend the night with other companions.

Just finish hearing this, and I just found out that Astarion has been counting out with his finger whether or not he was able to fight Tav's boy/girlfriend in case he stole Tav from them, especially with Shadowheart. I guess Astarion had internal beef with Shadowheart, cause he's okay with stealing Tav in any day or the weeks. But with everyone especially Lae'zel and Drow, he noped out.
