They got rid of an entertaining cycle, sure, but for a wool cycle they've improved it. Soak and tumble is simply better suited for woollens! It's more delicate and you're less likely going to have shredded woollens. Plus this cycle does tumble quite well like Candy/Hoover. I prefer this version 👍
Tbh way better. Never understood why everyone loved distribution wash as it was anything but delicate… it was entertaining yes, but if you care about how ita gonna wash your extremely delicate stuff- this is way bettee
@@washertech I know but everytime I used wool cycle in older Indesits it was just useless. Shoe got damaged, single item jumpers just tumbled extremely hard, it couldnt “stick” them to sides of drum…
But most of the time there was too much water in the drum that the woollen garments couldn't distribute properly 😂 The only distribution wool i can tolerate is the one that does two soak and tumble rinses@@washertech
@@Hotpoint474The only wool cycle that I can think of that just sits there is new BSH's. The rest like this one actually do tumble every minute or so which is still washing delicately
At least the tumbles on wool are like 4 seconds 6 seconds like bekos , unlike samsung that is only 1 second a tumble but still distribution was better with no rebalancing
I have the useless 2022 active care model. It still does the iconic destribution wash and rinse action, but it also does like a bit of a sensing action at the start of the wash
That’s werid, I got the same as your washing machine and last week I was putting on wool cycle and then nothing changed at all it’s just kept spinning all the way through!!
that distribution rinse allowed Ariston to be the first brand to have the Woolmar platinum care. so it was gentle. at that speed there isn't any type of friction between the clothes.
Sad that they got rid of the spinwashes, old models are quite better bcs they can spinwash
i preferred it too, shame everything is just slowly getting worse and worse, god knows what we’ll have in a couple years time
@@laundrylad2006 yeah agreed

It is true! But wool washed it just as well :(

the idea behind the old wool cycle was so wool items didn’t keep rubbing against eachother whilst washing that’s why they use to disturbute
@@washertech I know but everytime I used wool cycle in older Indesits it was just useless. Shoe got damaged, single item jumpers just tumbled extremely hard, it couldnt “stick” them to sides of drum…
@bogdannb atleast they dint sit there for the whole main wash might aswell put it in the sink with water saves electric atleast

Iam gutted they have got ridden of the entertaining distribution 😮that's. What I loved about Hotpoint
Oh wow wonder why they changed it was so epic

Ahhh the unlocking at the start?
@laundrylad2006 idk I like that unlocking bit dunno why
Great now this machine is doing a hoover dynamic next wool machine swing and now its a shame that it is not spinwashing on wool 😕
A shame about the wool cycles on these. I prefer the old wool cycle:(
Great video it shame why change it wool spin wash and rinse on hotpoint/ Indesit .
That’s werid, I got the same as your washing machine and last week I was putting on wool cycle and then nothing changed at all it’s just kept spinning all the way through!!
Lucky you! May have been an older model as i know these most recent ones are like this, it’s a shame but i suppose, it’ll do
COULDN'T BELIVE
this ate.
im canceling hotpoint for this
Wool action must be GENTLE!!!
Every machine must do wool wash without distribution!!!
Right wool wash WITHOUT DISTRIBUTION!!!!!
distribution was great, always was, 15 years +
Maybe it's just the most healthy

Very interesting 🤔😊
I had aeg, and there was wool cycle so gentle! I liked it!
Seems like they have just ruined it as distribution wash was delicate and intensive for wools at the same time
It’s a shame, i’d say it’s delicate enough though since it basically does only one spin
Mines does the spin wash
@@laundrylad2006yes but old one was better
@@GurminderSingh-cx6pd my indesit too as they are older models
@laundrylad2006 why does it still have the wool hand-wash sticker?
Mine dose the spin wash on wool
My 10kg also does it exactly this way
I would do delicate cycle and make quicker
mine dose spin washes on wool
13:52 hotpoint crazy
on some of the tumbles it's literally doing LG's wool swing 🫠
ETA: i do actually like the cycle though but nothing beats the WD\WF wool cycle.
Absolutely i agree
Thats wierd because i have a nswm8 and mines does a spin wash on wool
