You never know what the other guy is going through. My story is; a Guy was rude to me in an elevator & when I got out I looked him in the eye, smiled & said have good day sir. He came running after me and grabbed my shoulder. When I turned around he was crying and said I’m so sorry. He then told me he just found out he had cancer and was so angry. I prayed with him and told him God is in control and not to worry. That was 25 years ago. Be kind to everyone because you never know what they are going through.
I was going to an air show and went to stay in a camp ground in my tent with my boy when he was young. The temp dipped down to about 30F and we were shivering. The lady from the office came over with two huge quilts. We bundled up and slept comfy the rest of the night. Now that's what I call nice people.
You always make my day. You really taught the babies how to talk and the expressions on their faces are priceless. You always find the nicest places to show us and we appreciate it. We look forward to your smiling face. Hugs to the sweet babies.
Kevin just a FYI...... if you can order from Amazon or go to a pet store and get a (Coupler) for your babies when you walk them, it will keep them from getting all tangled up and you can get one with two or three clips and they work great! Then you only need one leash for all three babies. The cost is usually under $10.00 and I believe you would like it.

As a fellow Southerner I know how you feel when you encounter strangers that don't smile back or won't even speak. As a frequent cross-country roadtripper who now lives in Port Townsend, Wa, I had to get used to it. Where you and I are from (GA and NC) we are raised from birth to be friendly and welcoming, it's a big part of our culture. That is not true in some pockets of America. I no longer think it's rude, I think it's more of a cultural difference. It seems so easy and natural for you and I to simply smile at someone and or say hello but some people weren't raised to be that way with strangers. I have found it takes people on the West Coast a bit longer to get friendly with sometimes but once you become friends it's all good. Let's you and I keep spreading the Southern hospitality and friendliness wherever we travel! ~~Sherry and her canine companion Wooten Ps, come up to the Olympic Peninsula some time and let me show you around. You would love Port Townsend, our average high in August is 71!!!

I gotta tell you...as a girl I grew up in NY and moved to Ohio, I had no camping experience. In my early 20's, some girlfriends talked me into going camping. I was arriving later than they were, due to my work schedule, so they told me to find them by asking at the office when I arrived.. At the office, I was trying to figure out where they might be... the man asked me if they were primitive. Highly offended, I responded, "No, they're about the same age as me". TRUE STORY, Kevin - and they've never let me live it down.

I enjoyed your video and I hope when you think of the Patagonia Lake State Park that you think of the happy memories, the friendly campers who stopped to visit, the walking bridge stroll with your furry companions, and all the other good memories and not the people at the dumping station. There are many reasons people aren't friendly, I could surmise several scenarios but no matter what their reason, it had nothing to do with you. I hope they come across this video and perhaps they will say hello and explain why they acted the way they did. It wasn't you, it was them. Safe travels, have fun.

Just 2 paid campgrounds this trip, you da man Kevin. $27 is a good price to recharge your batteries, hot shower, dump, fresh water and nice surroundings. Enjoy yourself and the pups.

I came across bird nerds for the first time in my life (50something years young) a few years ago. Cracked me up. I'd heard about avian admirers, but had never seen them in the wild. I live in Tucson, but am originally a city slicker. I'm an adventurer, lucked out with youthful genetics, and I still get carded. Regarding camping, I used to go solo backpacking, even off-trail, sleeping on the ground, until back injuries kicked in. Strangely, people my age seem too old, IMHO. Many of the birders gazed with binoculars up at the trees, whereas I prefer to climb them. I stayed at a Madera Canyon cabin in the Santa Rita mountains, the southern mountain range bordering the valley. Patagonia is located on the other side. Beautiful country. I would never say this out loud, but I did find myself admiring the gorgeous winged ones and fauna of Madera. Wild turkeys, hummers, raptors, and exotic song birds are abundant there. Peeps squealed in delight when a Scarlet Tanager was spotted above me. So when one flew up to me chirping, while I was at home in the midtown area of the Old Pueblo on Christmas day, I was pleased to be able to identify it. Good medicine.

Thanks for showing us that nice campground and lake. Some people are just too stuck up to say a friendly hello. I have next door neighbors that almost never say hi back when I greet them, but their 4 year old little boy always greets us when they walk by.
Patagonia. Oh good lawt. I went out with a girl that lived in that area when I was in AZ. Good time. Mama came a knocking the next day for a Come To Jesus meeting. Oh well, I was a teenager, in college and she was still in high school. I love that part of AZ. Spent a few years in the Tuscon area while I was in college. Haven't been back in years. Actually I think my cousin and I camped there in 1979, it was built in 1975 so there was no campground, just the lake. I could be mistaken. That was tent camping. Out there you just need to make sure no rattle snake curls up in your sleeping bag.

I moved to AZ July 2017 & the 1st week of me venturing out in Tucson I was confronted by a rude Arizonan & to this date I still get confronted with rude people in AZ. I've told people that live in Tucson about my encounters & they told that's how they're here. And I believe them.
Patagonia is a nice area . I'm down that way a couple times a month . You know , I've come in contact with several folks like that on the road . I think they're afraid of strangers...just my theory of course . Nice vid , as usual .

I got a 96 Tracker last week sooo much fun! I always wanted one back in the day .My friends had a Side kick/ Tracker club in Tulsa. I was the only one working but I didn’t have one.I just ordered new carpet and put on a new top. It’s looking alright.Have a great day!
We have Red Wing Black birds in Texas too. Birding and Wildflower identification are fun hiking hobbies while camping. I started my bird and wild flower identification lists as a child. Camping hiking fishing, birding, wild flowers and wild life identification enrich the whole experience for me.
KVK, this is no joke. The black birds with red patches on their wings are Red Wing Blackbirds!! I went bass fishing at Patagonia in the mid-80s. We pulled a boat and slept in our Suburban. Fishing was excellent in February. The only rude jerks there were at the end of our lines when the bass struck!

KVK, this is no joke. The black birds with red patches on their wings are Red Wing Blackbirds!! I went bass fishing at Patagonia in the mid-80s. We pulled a boat and slept in our Suburban. Fishing was excellent in February. The only rude jerks there were at the end of our lines when the bass struck!
