Ali's footwork was much more than just a 1-2 step in a circle. He would swing his off foot behind his lead foot on every 3rd or 4th step.
Can you explain it pls
I hope lot's of people see this tutorial 👍
Best explanation of the circle and Jab
Thanks !
Thanks for the video, really nice circling jab, however Ali's circling jab was slightly different in that as he threw his jab the lead foot hopped back to land on the lead foot again follow by rear foot, if I remember correctly. This also allowed him to cover a greater distance with that extra skip back to the lead foot in the circling jab. Thanks again for that great video!
Thanks for the comment ! I tried to simplify it a little but yes your version is the correct one !
Good eye
Thanks Brother
My pleasure
The rear foot should swing behind the lead foot and then there would be another step to make it all fluid.
Awesome tutorial!
Thanks
It was a really good tutorial I really enjoyed it but why did you use a girl picture for a boxing channel?
Thank you , we have used many pictures over the years . We rotate them periodically
Lol he changed it.
Can this be used as a southpaw ? Moving to the right
Definitely
Wow why are there no comments here
Idk

movement like this is hella tiring to do after just 5 minutes lol especially if you do it in sparring or shadow boxing
Yes it’s not easy . You need good stamina to be able to do this - it’s not a beginners drill .
That's where your cardio is tested bud. Ali always ran skipped rope so he could "Dance all night"
@@_trevonta_ exactly ! “The fight is won far away from witnesses , in the gym or out there in the road . Long before I dance under the lights.”
Ali copied his hero sugar ray Robinson. So it's he Robinson move not ali
Robinson wasn't known for his circling like this, he was known for his explosive movement. Ali took the move and made it fit his own style, which was also about speed but a lot more fluid and effortless than Robinson's.
Point being, Ali made it his own move, regardless of inspiration.
Boxing is an art, meaning you can steal anything as long as you're using it to create something and Ali created legend.
Please watch Sugar Ray's fights and you will see that his movements were nothing close to Ali's. Ali picked the basic style of Sugar Ray and transformed it into his own style which no one could copy to date. If no one can copy, that makes it his own.

Не знаю что ты несешь. Но если про технику Али, то ты нифига про Али не знаешь.
