Reading interviews with Japanese magazines I think there is a misconception about Mao’s role, particularly on this album. These are Asami’s ideas, Asami’s basic concepts. But because she isn’t really a composer, Mao fleshes out her ideas and therefore is given rightful credit. But all the really thrashy songs on Judgement Day, with the exception of “We are the Resurrection” are Asami/Mao, rather than Mao outright compositions.
