    Your videos are 1st class for numerous reasons, foremost being crystal clear sound. On a lot of TH-cam videos, I cannot make out what the guy is saying. On your videos I clearly hear every word. Your wording & instructions are also 5 star. Needless to say... you are greatly appreciated for both your video skills and your knowledge. Thank you. U.S. Army, (ret) Texas

    Shawn, that "Thumbs downer" obviously never tried this pattern in a smallish black-nosed dace version. A real trout slayer! Nice job.

      Thanks James. That thumbs down is just to keep my head from getting to big. Lol. Tim Flagler and I was talking about one time. We both always get that one thumbs down every video. How you could ever give one of Flagler’s video a thumbs down is beyond me.

    Very cool Shawn, nice tie. I love marabou but I've never used it on a Clouser. I'll have to try it. Thanks, hope you had good Easter, take care.

    Really like the idea of marabou instead of buck tail. Definitely gonna have to give this a try on the vise and stream.

      Tim Kane insane amount of movement in this fly. That’s what amazed me the first time I threw it.

    Just bought some smaller mustard hooks and needed something to use them for. This is pretty much the ticket

      Brandon Verba, CHMM have fun with them. Good luck.

      Holsinger's Fly Shop mustad hooks! Although mustard hooks sounds like a good carp option

    I've never tied a Clouser before--looks fairly simple. In your opinion, what would be good sizes for small stream/river trout? Look forward to trying your recipe! Thx again for your awesome content....also, very much enjoy your podcasts!

    Cool fly.do you tie marabou muddlers?

    • @HolsingersFlyShop
      @HolsingersFlyShop  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hughie Graves I never really got into the muddlers. Since I’ve got into nymph fishing streamers have fallen down the list for me but I do like to fish them. You can’t beat the strike.
