My little girl was about that age when I got my Cobra. She still lights up when we go for a ride in it! Enjoy it man! My Cobra wouldn't have been near as good of a memory without her riding alongside each time.

To get to this point I had the kit for about 6 months. Shortly after the first go-cart ride I had a problem with my hydraulic release bearing and had to pull the transmission - that was a bummer and I put the build on hold for a few months. I am pretty much done at this point aside from paint and just started the process to get it titled.
Looks cool, but seeing it naked like this makes me think the frame doesn't have near enoguh rigidity. Is there something that doesn't meet the eye here?

Sadly all combustion cars including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. :-((((
That can only happen if the people allow it. There is no real replacement technology for fossil fuels. There has to be a limit to the loss in standard of living that people will tolerate.

China told our EU politicians that they wont do any business with underdeveloped countries that still allow CO2 emitting traffic or combustion based industry after 2030...I am sure USA and UK also will be forced by China to 100% electric traffic because today no industrialized country can afford sanctions by China.... China just rules the world...:-(

Nope, that is the right motor as it's the one I bought for the project. I never intended to build a period-correct replica. Shelby didn't put IRS, hydraulic clutch, power steering, dual roll bars, or 18" wheels on his cars either.
