No wonder there's a shortage of qualified drivers when there's more restrictions with less pay & respect. I have 20 years clean and I'm done. No more of this from government agencies. We are the only industry that has more restrictions & fines for less pay that require more performance.
This is not wright for the driver that been sick for the last two years and now we'll ready to go back to work we should have a 2 chance to get caught up on clearing house this should be a law suit against the violation.
Truck driving has gotten insane with all the regulations and rules , e-logs etc , they have been in the industry way too much and too far. I hadn't had my cdl for a year and was homeless in hard times, I didn't know when I was going to have enough to renew it if at all, during that year I had a friend introduced me to thc for pain relief, so I didn't have to go through what I did on pain pills etc that doctors had me so pumped full of and addicted, well once out of nowhere a friend came over and paid for me to be renewed and reinstated, and I made a phone call and had that person hire me in a day. I tested and ofcourse I had quit any thc the minute I was able to go to work, well the pre-employment test came up positive for thc, I shouldn't have that on my license I've never in over 40 + years ever had a dirty UA because I never use what I'm not supposed to when I'm not supposed to. Anyone know how I can fix this without jumping through the hoops and being treated like an addiction problem druggie????
And driver that been poor and been really sick do you got money and we ain't been on the road because of being sick with our health trying to get healthy for the SAP program to get back on the road...y'all can't downgrade some body for being sick for the last two years this is against the law.... so y'all don't know what y'all are talking about with some body way of life..
But you know what keeps drivers on the road 15 OUT OF 24 HOURS? in fatigue? feeling half drunk or not there in their right state of mind AT ALL keeping people's life in danger ever night(TRUCK PARKING SHORTAGE)

The only way you can fix it is by going through a SAP program.

Not just parking. It's strict hours of service not letting us get to safer places causing most to be forced to stop at once
