THIS is why cable is dying a slow death. Would you rather spend 30 min watching this at 1.5x no commercials or House Wives of X at normal speed with commercials?! Not even in the same ballpark. You can watch 2 of these in the same amount of time. Really think about the decision you're making when you sit down to watch a 3-hr football game. Yeah, no.

Pat, I watch all your stuff, man. Always good. It's why I watch. This is killer! I'm a broke carpenter/construction guy. Not your target audience, I'm sure, but I I've gone broke fighting for my parental rights to be a dad to my kids. Anyways, I got my baby girls! Problem is that I am doing this on my own, so I have to figure out how to come up with a solid game plan on how to bring an actual, tangible product to market. Trust me when I say that it is a badass product that will take a big chunk of a big market. I have no clue as to how to go about doing this without some serious investor cash. I am positive that after several thousands invested, I solely own this intellectual property. I feel like I could take this super basic business to extreme levels of success. I'm all pumped up and ready get a tailored suit and be a big time business owner like you for a very similar reason. Could you please do a video about how a guy can develop and bring a fairly complicated product to market? I know you know people and can get the much needed product development professionals to sit down with you to discuss the steps involved in how someone might bring a consumer product like a pair of Jordans or a new style of phone charger or something from the concept phase to the testing phase all the way to having the product listed in the Sears Christmas catalog. There is a very serious lack of good information on the subject with more horror stories than success stories. I know the risk and wish to proceed, but I don't want to make stupid, avoidable mistakes that shoot myself in the foot either. I need to see results from the money I invest and even more so if I am putting other people's money into this project. I am crazy determined to make this happen, but it's so difficult to get past the wall I've seemed to have hit here and I'm sick of people saying to me that Henry Ford could build a car or whatever and I couldn't get a red Solo cup on the market. The lack of information and resources on the subject is one of the main factors holding back tons of people. The good, constructive information seems to be guarded and the only way to proceed seems to be through rip-off do-nothing product development hacks who brag about their ability to market a poop scooper that did well in the 90's. Sorry for the super long post, but I need to make this happen for reasons other than my own personal interests, but this video and the one you did with the badass guy who coached Jordan and gave you that ring... Man, I just refuse to give up on this.

Hi Pat, I'm curious to find out how you managed to get your whole staff to read a 600 page book then write a 3 page paper on it? Surely some would have complained about thier CEO giving them homework?
Did you have to get legal advice before you said it was a requirement?
I'm interested to know because I realise the positive impact it could have on a company's growth if you can manage to get your staff to do it, also what were you willing to do if your staff didn't read the book?

Alan, I imagine most people didn't read it at first. Then he showed them why it was important to read the book. Plenty of CEOs have book clubs with senior managers.

It's in my blood to replace what I do. I'm working on my personal brand here on TH-cam but I also work a 9-5. I do and Automation Controls engineer and I consistent teach people what I know. And I go EverForward.
