I know a lot of our families did not teach us the language. But we do not want it to be lost and our own culture to be longs amongst American Cabo Verdeans.
I was adopted by a CV family and I love them very much. Miss my adopted Mom terribly.
My great grandfather also came from Brava island to New Bedford in around that time. I wonder if they took the same boat! 😱
