This mask is Salapao(sa-la-pao) Mask in Thai. Salapao (in Thai) is a type of Chinese food. It's a Chinese steamed bread bun with a filling (can be many kinds of fillings). So it's more of a bread than a dumpling. A dumpling can be made from many kinds of dough and can be boiled, fried, baked or steamed. You could google "siopao" for pictures.

This round makes me realise that some Thai pp still think folk , opera and classic are the top of music or for high class pp and look down on another genres of music especially Thai rock style. Every broken hearted people). Instrument plays are enough to add more hype to audiences whom are mostly teenagers and woman. But his performance is nowhere near the original. Still sound too pop for me. He does not pull this style off so I believe he won because of other factors but not his talent alone.
