"[...] When Daniil Trifonov played the Rachmaninoff from memory, it was as if his soul and body were directly connected to the music and it just poured out of him-the easiest thing in the world. His performance-although that’s not the right word: it was more a heart-to-heart sharing of what was in his deepest being-was by turns exciting, uber romantic and devilishly difficult. It felt like he was channeling Paganini, that legendary virtuoso who made the ladies swoon.
Afterwards, my seat neighbor and I jumped to our feet and turned to each other in excitement. “Stunning,” we both exclaimed. [...]"

"[...] Trifonov at the piano to deliver a "Rhapsody" brimming with color, complexity and, as befits its two-dozen variations on Paganini's theme, multiple personalities.
It was a pleasure to see and hear Trifonov is his element. I last heard him was here in the Concert Hall, but under the vastly different circumstances of May 2021.

He's that rare virtuoso whose skills seem to swirl around a sound sense of humor - drifting through its dizzying cadenzas with the ease of a daydream, banging out its "Dies Irae" intrusions with the corrective bark of a headmaster. Trifonov and the orchestra were also keenly locked, navigating stormy syncopation, militaristic buildups and outbursts of heated dialogue with grace and ferocity. [...]"

L'interpretazione di Trifonov ventenne in occasione del concorso Rubinstein resta secondo me insuperabile.
L'istinto naturale e poco intellettuale e la freschezza e la gioia del giovane musicista sono travolgenti.
La sua musica era cristallina, pura, essenziale.
Con gli anni la maturità gli ha tolto qualcosa o forse ha aggiunto il peso della vita.
Resta comunque un magnifico interprete.

Ti ringrazio, lo leggerò.
Ma il mio non è un giudizio negativo. L'ho ascoltato e visto dal vivo diverse volte, e continuerò a vederlo.
È solo una considerazione relativa alla sua evoluzione e alle sue performance, alcune sono migliori di altre secondo il mio giudizio.
E purtroppo o per fortuna io ascolto la musica con le mie orecchie, non con quelle degli altri 😁

Anche io amo con tutto il mio Cuore il molto giovane Daniil et sua Musical. Ascolto e guardo quelli Videos delle Competitioni e i bellissimi Videos die Ljon e Castelfranco molto spesso. Era un Miracolo e per me , oggi ancora die piu, a Maturita in Personalita e in Musica.
Pero, come Lei dice, ascoltando la stessa Musica ,la sentiamo differente. D' accordo Caro Sergio !
