The tall one with silver hair is the same blue eyed and deep rap with silver hair in Tempo, his name is Chanyeol and is the main Rapper. In some group shots he is not there because he joined the military as soon as it finished filming and when they had to re shoot new ones he was in already. The other one is BaekHyun ( 1/3 main vocalists) he joined a few months later after leaving his 4th mini album Bambi. Don't fight the feeling is a special album, it didn't have promotion, it was just a gift cause 2 members returned (D.O and Xiumin) and Lay participated filming from China ( the reason gor the CGI and blue screen) 2 other members ( Chen and our Leader Suho) were currently doing their military time. Chanyeol, Chen and Suho are back with us already. BaekHyun will return in February and around the middle of next year the 2 youngest members, Kai and Sehun, will have to do theirs. They still have two more to go, but they are expected to have a brief comeback early next year before the last two go in. Don't Fight The Feeling was a gift to EXO-L around the world in thanks for our continued support while they are on hiatus, but it wasn't an official comeback. To understand the story in EXO's "Ko Ko Bop" MV, you have to connect the story in "Ko Ko Bop" to the story in their "Lucky One" MV. "Ko Ko Bop" may look trippy and crazy, but if you understand EXO's storyline you will see that everything was done for a specific reason. To understand the choices being made in this song and the story in the MV, you have to be aware that everything EXO is involved in, and I literally mean almost everything, is connected in some way to their concept and storyline. EXO's MVs are kind of like a movie -- it's a movie that has been going on for the past 10+ years -- since predebut -- and it has no sign of coming to an end any time soon. The one thing you have to keep in mind with all of EXO's MVs, and I really mean all of them -- including their sub-sub-unit MVs and a majority of the member's solo MVs -- is that they are all connected and they all tell a little more of EXO's story. There are 8 members in "Ko Ko Bop." This MV came out in 2017 and it was the first MV where their Chinese member, Lay, was unable to participate because of the political issues between the Korean and Chinese government at the time. I can see how people might think that Ko Ko Bop is a drug they are all taking and that is why they are acting like they are high and kind of in a loopy drugged-like state. But to really understand what is happening in "Ko Ko Bop," you have to understand what is happening in their "Lucky One" MV. In "Lucky One" EXO has been captured by the Red Force who is doing experiments on EXO to try and figure out what makes them special, and to find a way to prevent them from finding and protecting the Tree of Life, etc. The members all use their powers to escape from the government facility and this is where theories say that the story in "Ko Ko Bop" picks up right after they have escaped in "Lucky One". The blue Ko Ko Bop drink that Suho mixes and the members drink -- which I now think is connected to the blue drink we see Kai drinking in their "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV -- and the pills or wafers you see them eating, was originally thought to be an elixir that is helping the members to detox from the drugs the Red Force gave them when they were being held against their will in the "Lucky One" MV. According to SM Entertainment the story in "Ko Ko Bop" also shows the members soon after they have arrived on Earth and they are all experimenting with their powers. That is why in "Ko Ko Bop" you see Kai with the power of teleportation using his power to levitate and you see him do the "treadmill" move next to the car. Suho with the power to control water jumps into the water and disappears, and later appears inside the washing machine, etc. Xiumin has the power of snow/ice/frost so he is using his power to create a cloud to fill the glass. Sehun uses his power to control wind to make objects float in the air. D.O. accidentally uses his power of strength/force and splits open the ground when he falls down. You see Chen with the power of thunder/lightning/electricity playing with his power. Baekhyun use his power of light as he throws the ball in the air and creates that huge flash of light, and Chanyeol uses his power of fire to create the fireworks when he bounces the ball into the sky. The car also looks like it's driving by itself because they are using their powers to control the car, etc. Their unbridled use of their powers and the haphazard way they play with their environment around them can be explained by the fact that they were drugged in "Lucky One" and while they are still dealing with the drugs in their system, in "Ko Ko Bop" their inhibitions are lowered and they use their powers without caution. Those tattoos you can see are fake, but like everything SM does, they aren't just random tattoos, they are specific images and messages as part of EXO's storyline. So part of their story goes: The members were trapped in the maze by the Red Force in their "Overdose" MV and while they were trapped they were captured and moved to the government facility in "Lucky One" and after escaping in "Lucky One" we see them detoxing in "Ko Ko Bop." However, since then, we now have more information after EXO's "Obsession" MV part of the story was released, where we have discovered that the Red Force has created X-EXO clones. So some theories now think that instead of "Ko Ko Bop" being about the EXO members, it might be showing us X-EXO. In "Obsession," the members in the bright colors with the crazy hair and makeup were the X-EXO clones and the members in the all black outfits were EXO. So now some theories think that maybe because "Ko Ko Bop" is so colorful, that it is showing us X-EXO right after they were brought to life, and this is their first time out in the world. So X-EXO are playing with their powers and trying to figure out how they work, and they are getting acclimated to their environment, etc. But, as you can see, to make it even more difficult to follow the story, nothing is in chronological order. As fans we have to become detectives and analyze everything that EXO does in order to try and figure out where each piece fits within the larger storyline. Although, at this point it's only theories and educated guesses. With every new release from EXO it adds another piece to their story. Sometimes that new piece helps to confirm what we thought was happening and other times it turns everything on its head and we realize that what we thought was happening wasn't even close. We can only hope that someday SM will finally explain everything, so we will know whether what we have been thinking all along is correct.

In EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" they used green screen during a lot of the MV because Lay, EXO's Chinese member, was unable to be in Korea to shoot the MV, so he shot all his parts separate in his studio in China and they inserted them into the MV. This MV was released in June 2021 -- during the pandemic -- and it was shot right before members Baekhyun and Chanyeol enlisted in the military. This mini album was a special project they did for their fans because members Xiumin and D.O. had just been discharged from the military -- which is one reason why they have a prominent role in the MV -- and Chanyeol and Baekhyun were about to enlist. (Suho and Chen had already enlisted before this MV was planned, so they were the only members who did not participate.) There were only 7 members of the 9 member group in this MV. (Kai and Sehun are the only members who still haven't enlisted, but they probably will soon.) "Don't Fight the Feeling" is a milestone for fans because this is the first time we have seen Lay back together with EXO since 2016, because of all the political issues between Korea and China. As you may have noticed, this MV establishes EXO's connection to Planet Exo, with the words EXO Planet strategically placed around the ship. Fun fact: They use red, white and blue all over in this MV, which are South Korea's colors. Plus, red and blue are all part of EXO's storyline. With everything EXO does, red represents the Red Force and blue is thought to represent EXO. So when you see the red light this is where the Red Force is thought to have control and when you see blue, this is thought to be where EXO has the upper hand. When you see purple -- red and blue mixed together make purple -- or both red and blue together in the same scene, this is often where the lines are blurred and the Red Force and EXO are fighting for control or battling each other for power. Therefore, because we see EXO in blue and black when they are part of the crew of the ship -- similar to the outfits we saw in their "Obsession" MV -- this is most likely an indication that this is EXO. However, when we see them in the group "party scene" this could possibly be X-EXO, EXO's alter ego clones who were created by the Red Force. We see Lay in red and other members with red accents, so they might be under the Red Forces' control in those scenes. The song is called "Tempo" and the album is named Don't Mess Up My Tempo, so, the tempo is intentionally a prominent part of the song. I think the tempo is also supposed to mirror the uncertainty and unsteadiness that EXO are feeling within the storyline in the MV and be the driving force spurring them on in the story. However, if you read the lyrics, you see that the song is talking to a girl and they are telling her, "Don't mess up my tempo." And yes, part of the tempo in the song is created by the squeak of what is thought to be bed springs. (The underlying theme of the song is a tongue and cheek reference to sexual innuendo.) However, as with everything EXO does, there are duel meanings depending on how deeply you want to interpret the song and MV. On the surface the song and MV is meant to be enjoyed by the casual watcher and listener like you would any song on the radio, but if you want to delve in deeper and explore EXO's storyline, then there is so much more going on. However, since then, 3 of the 4 Chinese members have left the group -- short answer to focus on their solo work back in China -- but there is still one Chinese member left, Lay. (Any performances or MVs you watch that took place prior to May 2014 you will see all 12 of the members.) However, now -- because they no longer have enough Chinese members -- they no longer do separate promotions, but they still produce almost all of their MVs and main songs in both Korean and Mandarin they just now promote all as one big group EXO with 9 members. The aesthetic of the "Tempo" MV is centered around the color red because the setting is supposed to be depicting the members under the Red Forces' control. Without going into too much detail -- there is so much going on in EXO's "Tempo" MV that it's hard to grasp it all -- what fan theories think is happening in "Tempo" is it is showing the members of EXO all trapped in separate dimensions. Each of those rooms, could possibly be a different dimension and that is why you see the glitches and why you hear Xiumin and Baekhyun with that computerized voice, because they aren't all in the same place at the same time, so their voices are being distorted as they try to connect between dimensions, etc. They also still could be trapped in different rooms within the maze, like what we saw them in their "Overdose" MV. For several of EXO's MVs we believe they are still trapped within the maze and they are continuously trying to find their way out. The maze seems to affect their connection to their powers and it clouds their minds and dulls their senses, so not only are they fighting the Red Force and X-EXO, but they are also struggling to break free from the fog the Red Force has them in. That's why you see some of the members just lazily sitting around and kind of blankly staring off into space at times. Baekhyun is the one that is singled out in the MV and he is the one standing above everything looking down, so this is one example of where we think that maybe he is the only one who has avoided the Red Force's control and he is observing everything that is going on from the outside. You see Chanyeol -- main rapper -- being interrogated by Chen with the inkblot test and that is thought to be the members trying to figure out who are the real EXO members and who are the evil X-EXO members created by the Red Force -- or who are the real members and who are the clones. At this point everyone is suspicious of each other and no one can be trusted. As you may have noticed, halfway through the MV Chanyeol's eyes and hair change color, so some think that this is either showing two different versions of Chanyeol who appear in two different time periods or dimensions, or one is Chanyeol the EXO member and one is Chanyeol the X-EXO clone. Often, when you see a character in one of SM's MVs with blue eyes or different eye colors this usually means they are not who they appear to be. The "Chess game" is thought to be supernatural EXO chess, and I don't think it's a game they are playing, but I think maybe it's something they are using to try to decipher a clue or figure out a way out of wherever the Red Force has them trapped at the moment. It's unclear right now what that scene is really telling us, but I have a feeling things will become clearer in the future as more of EXO's storyline is unveiled in future MVs and as SM's SM Culture Universe storyline continues to evolve. You also see Sehun -- the other main rapper -- on the motorcycle in this MV, which I now think is connected to the scene where we see him driving a motorcycle in EXO's "Lightsaber" MV and sitting on the motorcycle in their new "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV. In the very last scene, that is Baekhyun with that cube. I am not sure what that means, but I am sure it's foreshadowing something to come in the future with EXO's storyline. Fun fact: EXO's Chinese member, Lay, is in this MV, but you won't see or hear him sing or dance because you watched the Korean version, and at this time, because of the political issues between China and Korea, the Chinese government only gave him permission to appear in the Korean version of "Tempo", but he wasn't allowed to participate in the song. If you want to hear Lay sing you will have to watch the Mandarin version. Nothing in this MV is random or done just because, even the smallest of detail has been planned out to either connect to something to do with EXO's storyline from past MVs or it will become a key part to help explain something in one of their future MVs.

There is 9 members in exo , they stopped promoting since 2018 because some members was joining military so their company started neglecting them although they are the most famous group , they continued making music in few member and solo , don't fight the feeling was a surprise they gifted the fans because it been a long time since they did a comeback and the album is just amazing
The did promotions for Obsession in 2019. Which was their last official group comeback (despite not having all the group members present). The did concerts, music shows, variety shows...the whole nine. It was proper promoted...for SM at least.

As with most of EXO's songs and MVs -- such as "Love Shot" -- the song and the story in the MV are two separate things. There are two messages that the story tells in the MV. Yes, the story in the MV is loosely based on the lyrics of the song, but the main point of the MV is mostly to tell another part of EXO's story. There are 8 members in "Love Shot." Lay, their Chinese member, was not able to participate in this MV. Everything EXO is involved in, and I literally mean almost everything -- including what is happening in their "Love Shot" MV -- is connected in some way to their concept and storyline. EXO's MVs are kind of like a movie -- it's a movie that has been going on for the past 10+ years -- since predebut -- and it has no sign of coming to an end any time soon. The one thing you have to be aware with all of EXO's MVs, and I really mean all of them -- including their sub-sub-unit MVs and a majority of the member's solo MVs. And because Baekhyun and Kai are involved, even SuperM's storyline -- is that they are all connected and they all tell a little more of EXO's story, each MV is like another chapter in EXO's graphic novel or mystery movie series. And because EXO is trying to undo and prevent the Red Force from accomplishing their goals, the Red Force is also trying to take down EXO by capturing them, corrupting them and standing in their way, etc. So each new MV or project from EXO tells another part of the story. In "Love Shot" I'm not sure why EXO first ended up at the gas/service station or the cinema/movie theater, but the story in this MV is all about how the Red Force is trying to corrupt and control them. For example, supposedly, most fans agree, that Xiumin may have been captured by the Red Force -- or maybe it's his X-EXO clone. If you notice, Xiumin is squaring off with a group of guys with guns, but a few seconds later we see someone with a mask and when the mask is removed you see that it's Xiumin, which seems to show that he may not be who we think he is. And when Chen is sitting in the theater watching the film, you see what fans agree is Suho, as the leader, probably trying to protect the members and prevent Chen from watching the film by covering his eyes. Whatever is being played on the movie screen is thought to probably be the Red Force trying to control EXO. You also see references to the movie screen with Chen being projected on the screen in their "Lucky One" MV and the scene where Suho is running through the forest in their "For Life" MV, etc. These instances seem to be showing times when the Red Force are using the videos to brainwash EXO and to keep them incapacitated so they don't try to fight back or escape, etc. In "Love Shot" one theory is that the members are fighting to discover who has been corrupted by the Red Force and who may not be who they say they are, etc., which I see as a sort of continuation of the story in their "Tempo" MV. This is why you see them being very suspicious pointing their guns -- which are filled with alcohol -- at each other. (Get it? the song is called "Love Shot" so it has a double meaning: Love Shot like a gun and Love Shot like a shot of alcohol. :D) The flowers have two purposes, one is they represent Love and EXO is collecting love, but also the flowers are a big part of EXO's storyline. There has been a flower theme that continues throughout all of EXO's MVs. The flowers are thought to be something that EXO is collecting and trying to get rid of to prevent the Red Force from being able to control people, etc. They often collect the flowers and then burn them, like you see in "Love Shot" and in EXO-CBX's "Hey Mama" MV. Blue roses also have some sort of significance, but I am not sure what yet -- we see EXO with a blue rose in their concert performances of "Lightsaber" and we see Sehun with a blue rose in "Love Shot." Some of what happens in this story is explained by past MVs and other parts will hopefully, be explained as the story continues in future MVs. Money is the root of all evil, and people's obsession with material goods and wealth could be one of the ways the Red Force is using to control humanity. Which is why you see EXO trying to take down the gambling ring in their "Monster" and "Lotto" MVs and why they talk about money in EXO-CBX's Japanese song "Ka-Ching," etc. They also burn the giant stack of money in "Monster"/"Lotto," it's not an isolated incident, so it's obviously a significant thing within EXO's storyline. Baekhyun is actually one of the main characters in EXO's storyline so he is often set apart or singled out in EXO's MVs. He is often the one that stands alone or is highlighted in the story. For example, in their "Power" MV Baekhyun has been singled out and is sort of separated from the other members, which seems to suggest maybe Baekhyun is the only member that hasn't been corrupted by the Red Force. So that is thought to be why in "Tempo" and in "Love Shot" we see Baekhyun standing on top of the building looking down on the rest of the members, almost as if he is observing them from another dimension or from another time period. Baekhyun is often the one who is going behind the sense to help EXO. For example, we see him disguised as a member of the police as he rescues the other members from the back of the police van in "Monster," and we see Baekhyun facing off with and confronting Xiumin in "Love Shot." :D And now that we have discovered that the Red Force has created X-EXO, EXO's evil clones, as part of "Obsession's" story, I am also starting to think that maybe in "Love Shot" we aren't just seeing EXO. I think maybe when we see the members dressed in the bright colors -- for example, when they are in their suits -- this might be X-EXO and when we see the scenes were they are in black, this could be EXO. Because in their "Obsession" MV we find out that the members in all black are EXO the good guys, and when we see them in the colorful outfits with the crazy hair and makeup that is their X-EXO alter ego clones. This could also explain why Kai is dressed in a red suit. Although I am sure their stylists put him in red because he looks really good in it, I think SM chose it because it's another hidden message within the storyline. Usually, whenever we see red in EXO's MVs this has something to do with the Red Force, so for a long time I have been wondering why then would they put Kai in a red suit? However, now that we know about the X-EXO members, I am starting to think that when we see the members in their colorful suits and clothing in "Love Shot" this is actually the X-EXO members, so when we see Kai in red this is his alter ego clone, as well as the other members when we see them in suits, etc. I also think maybe the members who are collecting all the flowers in "Love Shot" are really X-EXO, as part of some evil plot, etc. If you look at the members expressions and the outfits they are wearing in the scenes where you see them collecting the flowers, this reminds me a lot of what they looked like in their "Ko Ko Bop" MV. Since "Obsession," theories now think that what the "Ko Ko Bop" MV was showing us was X-EXO right after they were created as they are becoming acclimated to the world and learning how to use their powers, etc. Which would explain why everything in the "Ko Ko Bop" MV is so brightly colored as well. But you should also know that no one really knows for sure what is happening in any of EXO's MVs. There are well known theories and storylines that are accepted within the fandom, which we think might explain what is happening in each MV. And there are theories about how each MV is connected and where each falls within their larger storyline, but nothing is set in stone. Fan theories are constantly evolving and changing with every introduction of a new piece of the puzzle.

Aaaahhh I'm so glad you did a part 2! - the one you've been pointing out in nearly every video is Chanyeol - the main rapper and he's also the one with the blue eyes in 'Tempo'! I really think you should react to more... they're really good... i recommend 'Obsession' - Chanyeol has a really good rap part in that I think you'd like! also 'Lotto', and 'Power' and 'Lucky One'. - (Also 'Electric Kiss' and 'Coming Over' from their Japanese Album - the MVs for these are short versions too) Also their really old stuff is good, like 'MAMA', 'History' and 'What is Love' but you might not like it as much as it's a lot like 'Growl' and 'Overdose'. If you'd also like to hear some of their more emotional stuff 'Universe', 'Sing For You' and 'Miracles in December' (these are on their Holiday albums so maybe good for this month?) Exo have 2 subgroups called EXO-CBX (EXO- Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin) and EXO-SC (EXO- Sehun and Chanyeol- these are the two main rappers). These subgroups are amazing and I think a lot of their songs are just as good as the main groups stuff. From EXO-SC I love all of their stuff but 'Telephone' and '1 Billion Views' are two of their more popular ones and 'Nothin' and 'On Me' are both solo songs by Chanyeol and Sehun. ('Just Us 2' is my personal favourite though.') From EXO-CBX I think you'd like 'Hey Mama' and 'Blooming day'. 'Horololo' is famously quite strange but its very good and worth listening to for sure. If you want to reeeeally get into them the members have a lot of solo songs - I suggest Baekhyun's solo songs 'UN Village', 'Candy' and 'Bambi'. Chanyeol's 'Yours' which is in collaboration with a bunch of other artists (it's a BEAUTIFUL song very very good 10/10) , and Kai's 'Mmmh' and 'Reason' . Suho's stuff if VERY emotional but beautifully crafted istg its like art. - the whole self portrait album but mostly 'Let's Love' and the live version of 'O2' The other members have other great songs too but these are the ones I've seen being talked about the most. Obviously you don't need to react to all of these, and not right away but EXO is such an amazing group with incredible talent and variety. It would be a shame not to listen to more so please get back to it soon!! (also if you couldn't tell Chanyeol is my bias and I think he might be yours too based on how much you've talked about him😅)

I’m enjoying your videos. I’d like to suggest that the performers screen be a bit larger, if possible. I do most of my viewing from my iPhone and it gives an inch by inch and a half picture, which makes it very hard to see. I’ll tune in again when you have more EXO or Shinee or Super Junior.

EXO-L are getting lazier and lazier to stream EXO songs and mvs because most of us are adult now but EXO-L purchasing power are insane even though 10 years has passed. Don't Fight The Feeling special 10th anniversary album is the best recent example. 1 Million copies of physical album was sold during the pandemic. Also, Baekhyun last solo album before enlisting in the military also sold 1 Million copies in less than a month. FYI, EXO have a huge fame and impact in China. They have the largest kpop fanbase there and their mvs have billions views in China music platform. No kpop groups can beat them there for 10 years. Sadly the political issue between South Korea and China prevent EXO to promote there.

20:42 to answer your question: there are MVs with fewer members because of military yes. Actually the 2 exactly at that moment when into their military time just after this. The tall one with silver hair is the same blue eyed and deep rap with silver hair in Tempo, his name is Chanyeol and is the main Rapper. In some group shots he is not there because he joined the military as soon as it finished filming and when they had to re shoot new ones he was in already. The other one is BaekHyun ( 1/3 main vocalists) he joined a few months later after leaving his 4th mini album Bambi.
Don't fight the feeling is a special album, it didn't have promotion, it was just a gift cause 2 members returned (D.O and Xiumin) and Lay participated filming from China ( the reason gor the CGI and blue screen)

To understand the story in EXO's "Ko Ko Bop" MV, you have to connect the story in "Ko Ko Bop" to the story in their "Lucky One" MV. "Ko Ko Bop" may look trippy and crazy, but if you understand EXO's storyline you will see that everything was done for a specific reason.
To understand the choices being made in this song and the story in the MV, you have to be aware that everything EXO is involved in, and I literally mean almost everything, is connected in some way to their concept and storyline. EXO's MVs are kind of like a movie -- it's a movie that has been going on for the past 10+ years -- since predebut -- and it has no sign of coming to an end any time soon. The one thing you have to keep in mind with all of EXO's MVs, and I really mean all of them -- including their sub-sub-unit MVs and a majority of the member's solo MVs -- is that they are all connected and they all tell a little more of EXO's story.
There are 8 members in "Ko Ko Bop." This MV came out in 2017 and it was the first MV where their Chinese member, Lay, was unable to participate because of the political issues between the Korean and Chinese government at the time.
I can see how people might think that Ko Ko Bop is a drug they are all taking and that is why they are acting like they are high and kind of in a loopy drugged-like state. But to really understand what is happening in "Ko Ko Bop," you have to understand what is happening in their "Lucky One" MV. In "Lucky One" EXO has been captured by the Red Force who is doing experiments on EXO to try and figure out what makes them special, and to find a way to prevent them from finding and protecting the Tree of Life, etc. The members all use their powers to escape from the government facility and this is where theories say that the story in "Ko Ko Bop" picks up right after they have escaped in "Lucky One".
The blue Ko Ko Bop drink that Suho mixes and the members drink -- which I now think is connected to the blue drink we see Kai drinking in their "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV -- and the pills or wafers you see them eating, was originally thought to be an elixir that is helping the members to detox from the drugs the Red Force gave them when they were being held against their will in the "Lucky One" MV.
According to SM Entertainment the story in "Ko Ko Bop" also shows the members soon after they have arrived on Earth and they are all experimenting with their powers.
That is why in "Ko Ko Bop" you see Kai with the power of teleportation using his power to levitate and you see him do the "treadmill" move next to the car. Suho with the power to control water jumps into the water and disappears, and later appears inside the washing machine, etc. Xiumin has the power of snow/ice/frost so he is using his power to create a cloud to fill the glass. Sehun uses his power to control wind to make objects float in the air. D.O. accidentally uses his power of strength/force and splits open the ground when he falls down. You see Chen with the power of thunder/lightning/electricity playing with his power. Baekhyun use his power of light as he throws the ball in the air and creates that huge flash of light, and Chanyeol uses his power of fire to create the fireworks when he bounces the ball into the sky. The car also looks like it's driving by itself because they are using their powers to control the car, etc.
Their unbridled use of their powers and the haphazard way they play with their environment around them can be explained by the fact that they were drugged in "Lucky One" and while they are still dealing with the drugs in their system, in "Ko Ko Bop" their inhibitions are lowered and they use their powers without caution.
Those tattoos you can see are fake, but like everything SM does, they aren't just random tattoos, they are specific images and messages as part of EXO's storyline.
So part of their story goes: The members were trapped in the maze by the Red Force in their "Overdose" MV and while they were trapped they were captured and moved to the government facility in "Lucky One" and after escaping in "Lucky One" we see them detoxing in "Ko Ko Bop."
However, since then, we now have more information after EXO's "Obsession" MV part of the story was released, where we have discovered that the Red Force has created X-EXO clones. So some theories now think that instead of "Ko Ko Bop" being about the EXO members, it might be showing us X-EXO. In "Obsession," the members in the bright colors with the crazy hair and makeup were the X-EXO clones and the members in the all black outfits were EXO. So now some theories think that maybe because "Ko Ko Bop" is so colorful, that it is showing us X-EXO right after they were brought to life, and this is their first time out in the world. So X-EXO are playing with their powers and trying to figure out how they work, and they are getting acclimated to their environment, etc.
But, as you can see, to make it even more difficult to follow the story, nothing is in chronological order. As fans we have to become detectives and analyze everything that EXO does in order to try and figure out where each piece fits within the larger storyline. Although, at this point it's only theories and educated guesses. With every new release from EXO it adds another piece to their story. Sometimes that new piece helps to confirm what we thought was happening and other times it turns everything on its head and we realize that what we thought was happening wasn't even close. We can only hope that someday SM will finally explain everything, so we will know whether what we have been thinking all along is correct.

The song's title is Promise, EXO's promise to EXO-L that no matter what happened, they will always come back to the stage. And now, we are only waiting for a few more years for them to be completed as their military service era started 2019.
We talking about Exo and where is obsession? Its a masterpiece
In EXO's "Don't Fight the Feeling" they used green screen during a lot of the MV because Lay, EXO's Chinese member, was unable to be in Korea to shoot the MV, so he shot all his parts separate in his studio in China and they inserted them into the MV. This MV was released in June 2021 -- during the pandemic -- and it was shot right before members Baekhyun and Chanyeol enlisted in the military. This mini album was a special project they did for their fans because members Xiumin and D.O. had just been discharged from the military -- which is one reason why they have a prominent role in the MV -- and Chanyeol and Baekhyun were about to enlist. (Suho and Chen had already enlisted before this MV was planned, so they were the only members who did not participate.) There were only 7 members of the 9 member group in this MV. (Kai and Sehun are the only members who still haven't enlisted, but they probably will soon.)
"Don't Fight the Feeling" is a milestone for fans because this is the first time we have seen Lay back together with EXO since 2016, because of all the political issues between Korea and China.
As you may have noticed, this MV establishes EXO's connection to Planet Exo, with the words EXO Planet strategically placed around the ship. And you will see L-1485 in several places on the ship because this represents EXO-Ls, 14/08/05 (Aug. 5, 2014) -- 1485 -- is the day EXO's fandom was given the name EXO-L.
"Don't Fight the Feeling" is also connected to EXO's and SuperM's storyline and it's all part of SM Entertainment's SM Culture Universe. If you follow the storylines of all of SM's groups you will see connections can be made with "Don't Fight the Feeling" to EXO's story, as well as several of SM's other groups' MVs, such as SuperM's "100", WayV's "Moonwalk", NCT's "Save", etc. For example, the flag you see in this MV should remind you of the flags you see as the logo during EXO's "Obsession" comeback, as well as the flags you will see if you watch EXO's live concert performance of their song "El Dorado", and the scene with Sehun on the motorcycle should remind you of the scenes with him on the motorcycle in EXO's "Tempo" and "Lightsaber" MVs, etc.
The meteors and the explosions, etc. are all part of SM's Universe storyline, as well. You see the planet burning at the end of EXO's "Obsession" MV and you will see everything on fire when you watch Lay's solo "Sheep" Alan Walker Relift version MV. There are also meteor showers happening in several of EXO's concert VCR and MV teaser concept videos, etc. And I think it's even connected to the meteor shower you see happening in WayV's "Moonwalk" MV, etc.
And I think the blue drink we see Kai drinking has something to do with the blue drink we see EXO drinking in their "Ko Ko Bop" MV.
Fun fact: They use red, white and blue all over in this MV, which are South Korea's colors. Plus, red and blue are all part of EXO's storyline. With everything EXO does, red represents the Red Force and blue is thought to represent EXO. So when you see the red light this is where the Red Force is thought to have control and when you see blue, this is thought to be where EXO has the upper hand. When you see purple -- red and blue mixed together make purple -- or both red and blue together in the same scene, this is often where the lines are blurred and the Red Force and EXO are fighting for control or battling each other for power.
Therefore, because we see EXO in blue and black when they are part of the crew of the ship -- similar to the outfits we saw in their "Obsession" MV -- this is most likely an indication that this is EXO. However, when we see them in the group "party scene" this could possibly be X-EXO, EXO's alter ego clones who were created by the Red Force. We see Lay in red and other members with red accents, so they might be under the Red Forces' control in those scenes.

The song is called "Tempo" and the album is named Don't Mess Up My Tempo, so, the tempo is intentionally a prominent part of the song. I think the tempo is also supposed to mirror the uncertainty and unsteadiness that EXO are feeling within the storyline in the MV and be the driving force spurring them on in the story.
However, if you read the lyrics, you see that the song is talking to a girl and they are telling her, "Don't mess up my tempo." And yes, part of the tempo in the song is created by the squeak of what is thought to be bed springs. (The underlying theme of the song is a tongue and cheek reference to sexual innuendo.) However, as with everything EXO does, there are duel meanings depending on how deeply you want to interpret the song and MV. On the surface the song and MV is meant to be enjoyed by the casual watcher and listener like you would any song on the radio, but if you want to delve in deeper and explore EXO's storyline, then there is so much more going on.
As an SM Entertainment group, for anyone who knows SM, it shouldn't be a surprise that EXO are amazing vocalists -- hence the a capella part in the song. That is just what SM is known for. You can't be an SM artist without having amazing vocals and dance skills. That's just a fact about the type of people SM selects to become part of its company. All of SM's artists were first chosen for their visuals, vocals and/or dance skills, and even the rappers get intense training as vocalists. To truly understand EXO you need to know that EXO debuted in 2012. From day one, EXO's concept is that they are aliens from planet Exo and they came to Earth with superpowers to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. Each of the members has a superpower that is unique to them and almost every MV will have at least one, if not all of them, using their powers.
Exo, as in exoskeleton, means "outer," so as a member of EXO they are outside the ordinary. The group's concept comes from the real term exoplanet, which is a term that is used for a planet that is outside our solar system, so their name was chosen to represent the fact that they are stars that are "out of this world" when it comes to their talents. SM Entertainment has all of EXO's release dates and concepts planned out for years in advance, and it is all designed to be another chapter in EXO's story.
Now you also need to know that In the beginning there was 12 members and they were split up into 2 groups EXO-K and EXO-M. EXO-K sang and performed their songs in Korean and EXO-M sang and performed those same songs in Mandarin Chinese. EXO-K had 6 Korean members and EXO-M had 4 Chinese members and 2 Korean members.
However, since then, 3 of the 4 Chinese members have left the group -- short answer to focus on their solo work back in China -- but there is still one Chinese member left, Lay. (Any performances or MVs you watch that took place prior to May 2014 you will see all 12 of the members.) However, now -- because they no longer have enough Chinese members -- they no longer do separate promotions, but they still produce almost all of their MVs and main songs in both Korean and Mandarin they just now promote all as one big group EXO with 9 members.
The aesthetic of the "Tempo" MV is centered around the color red because the setting is supposed to be depicting the members under the Red Forces' control. Without going into too much detail -- there is so much going on in EXO's "Tempo" MV that it's hard to grasp it all -- what fan theories think is happening in "Tempo" is it is showing the members of EXO all trapped in separate dimensions. Each of those rooms, could possibly be a different dimension and that is why you see the glitches and why you hear Xiumin and Baekhyun with that computerized voice, because they aren't all in the same place at the same time, so their voices are being distorted as they try to connect between dimensions, etc.
They also still could be trapped in different rooms within the maze, like what we saw them in their "Overdose" MV. For several of EXO's MVs we believe they are still trapped within the maze and they are continuously trying to find their way out. The maze seems to affect their connection to their powers and it clouds their minds and dulls their senses, so not only are they fighting the Red Force and X-EXO, but they are also struggling to break free from the fog the Red Force has them in. That's why you see some of the members just lazily sitting around and kind of blankly staring off into space at times.
Baekhyun is the one that is singled out in the MV and he is the one standing above everything looking down, so this is one example of where we think that maybe he is the only one who has avoided the Red Force's control and he is observing everything that is going on from the outside.
You see Chanyeol -- main rapper -- being interrogated by Chen with the inkblot test and that is thought to be the members trying to figure out who are the real EXO members and who are the evil X-EXO members created by the Red Force -- or who are the real members and who are the clones. At this point everyone is suspicious of each other and no one can be trusted.
As you may have noticed, halfway through the MV Chanyeol's eyes and hair change color, so some think that this is either showing two different versions of Chanyeol who appear in two different time periods or dimensions, or one is Chanyeol the EXO member and one is Chanyeol the X-EXO clone. Often, when you see a character in one of SM's MVs with blue eyes or different eye colors this usually means they are not who they appear to be.
The "Chess game" is thought to be supernatural EXO chess, and I don't think it's a game they are playing, but I think maybe it's something they are using to try to decipher a clue or figure out a way out of wherever the Red Force has them trapped at the moment. It's unclear right now what that scene is really telling us, but I have a feeling things will become clearer in the future as more of EXO's storyline is unveiled in future MVs and as SM's SM Culture Universe storyline continues to evolve.
You also see Sehun -- the other main rapper -- on the motorcycle in this MV, which I now think is connected to the scene where we see him driving a motorcycle in EXO's "Lightsaber" MV and sitting on the motorcycle in their new "Don't Fight the Feeling" MV.
In the very last scene, that is Baekhyun with that cube. I am not sure what that means, but I am sure it's foreshadowing something to come in the future with EXO's storyline.
Fun fact: EXO's Chinese member, Lay, is in this MV, but you won't see or hear him sing or dance because you watched the Korean version, and at this time, because of the political issues between China and Korea, the Chinese government only gave him permission to appear in the Korean version of "Tempo", but he wasn't allowed to participate in the song. If you want to hear Lay sing you will have to watch the Mandarin version.
Nothing in this MV is random or done just because, even the smallest of detail has been planned out to either connect to something to do with EXO's storyline from past MVs or it will become a key part to help explain something in one of their future MVs.

There is 9 members in exo , they stopped promoting since 2018 because some members was joining military so their company started neglecting them although they are the most famous group , they continued making music in few member and solo , don't fight the feeling was a surprise they gifted the fans because it been a long time since they did a comeback and the album is just amazing
The did promotions for Obsession in 2019. Which was their last official group comeback (despite not having all the group members present). The did concerts, music shows, variety shows...the whole nine. It was proper promoted...for SM at least.

As with most of EXO's songs and MVs -- such as "Love Shot" -- the song and the story in the MV are two separate things. There are two messages that the story tells in the MV. Yes, the story in the MV is loosely based on the lyrics of the song, but the main point of the MV is mostly to tell another part of EXO's story.
There are 8 members in "Love Shot." Lay, their Chinese member, was not able to participate in this MV.
Everything EXO is involved in, and I literally mean almost everything -- including what is happening in their "Love Shot" MV -- is connected in some way to their concept and storyline. EXO's MVs are kind of like a movie -- it's a movie that has been going on for the past 10+ years -- since predebut -- and it has no sign of coming to an end any time soon. The one thing you have to be aware with all of EXO's MVs, and I really mean all of them -- including their sub-sub-unit MVs and a majority of the member's solo MVs. And because Baekhyun and Kai are involved, even SuperM's storyline -- is that they are all connected and they all tell a little more of EXO's story, each MV is like another chapter in EXO's graphic novel or mystery movie series.
EXO debuted in 2012 and from day one, the group's concept is that they are aliens from Planet Exo and they came to Earth with superpowers to protect the Tree of Life from the Red Forces. Each of the members has a superpower that is unique to them and almost every MV will have at least one, if not all of them, using their powers.
Part of EXO's mission is they are constantly fighting against and battling the Red Force for control. The Red Force is thought to be here on Earth inflicting their evil agenda and corrupting humanity and causing all the bad things that are happening in the world such as war, hate and destruction of the environment, etc. While on their quest to locate and protect the Tree of Life, EXO is also tasked with trying to fix everything the Red Force has caused. And because EXO is trying to undo and prevent the Red Force from accomplishing their goals, the Red Force is also trying to take down EXO by capturing them, corrupting them and standing in their way, etc.
So each new MV or project from EXO tells another part of the story.
In "Love Shot" I'm not sure why EXO first ended up at the gas/service station or the cinema/movie theater, but the story in this MV is all about how the Red Force is trying to corrupt and control them. For example, supposedly, most fans agree, that Xiumin may have been captured by the Red Force -- or maybe it's his X-EXO clone. If you notice, Xiumin is squaring off with a group of guys with guns, but a few seconds later we see someone with a mask and when the mask is removed you see that it's Xiumin, which seems to show that he may not be who we think he is.
And when Chen is sitting in the theater watching the film, you see what fans agree is Suho, as the leader, probably trying to protect the members and prevent Chen from watching the film by covering his eyes. Whatever is being played on the movie screen is thought to probably be the Red Force trying to control EXO.
You also see references to the movie screen with Chen being projected on the screen in their "Lucky One" MV and the scene where Suho is running through the forest in their "For Life" MV, etc. These instances seem to be showing times when the Red Force are using the videos to brainwash EXO and to keep them incapacitated so they don't try to fight back or escape, etc.
In "Love Shot" one theory is that the members are fighting to discover who has been corrupted by the Red Force and who may not be who they say they are, etc., which I see as a sort of continuation of the story in their "Tempo" MV. This is why you see them being very suspicious pointing their guns -- which are filled with alcohol -- at each other. (Get it? the song is called "Love Shot" so it has a double meaning: Love Shot like a gun and Love Shot like a shot of alcohol. :D)
The flowers have two purposes, one is they represent Love and EXO is collecting love, but also the flowers are a big part of EXO's storyline. There has been a flower theme that continues throughout all of EXO's MVs. The flowers are thought to be something that EXO is collecting and trying to get rid of to prevent the Red Force from being able to control people, etc. They often collect the flowers and then burn them, like you see in "Love Shot" and in EXO-CBX's "Hey Mama" MV. Blue roses also have some sort of significance, but I am not sure what yet -- we see EXO with a blue rose in their concert performances of "Lightsaber" and we see Sehun with a blue rose in "Love Shot." Some of what happens in this story is explained by past MVs and other parts will hopefully, be explained as the story continues in future MVs.
Money is the root of all evil, and people's obsession with material goods and wealth could be one of the ways the Red Force is using to control humanity. Which is why you see EXO trying to take down the gambling ring in their "Monster" and "Lotto" MVs and why they talk about money in EXO-CBX's Japanese song "Ka-Ching," etc. They also burn the giant stack of money in "Monster"/"Lotto," it's not an isolated incident, so it's obviously a significant thing within EXO's storyline.
Baekhyun is actually one of the main characters in EXO's storyline so he is often set apart or singled out in EXO's MVs. He is often the one that stands alone or is highlighted in the story. For example, in their "Power" MV Baekhyun has been singled out and is sort of separated from the other members, which seems to suggest maybe Baekhyun is the only member that hasn't been corrupted by the Red Force. So that is thought to be why in "Tempo" and in "Love Shot" we see Baekhyun standing on top of the building looking down on the rest of the members, almost as if he is observing them from another dimension or from another time period. Baekhyun is often the one who is going behind the sense to help EXO. For example, we see him disguised as a member of the police as he rescues the other members from the back of the police van in "Monster," and we see Baekhyun facing off with and confronting Xiumin in "Love Shot." :D
And now that we have discovered that the Red Force has created X-EXO, EXO's evil clones, as part of "Obsession's" story, I am also starting to think that maybe in "Love Shot" we aren't just seeing EXO. I think maybe when we see the members dressed in the bright colors -- for example, when they are in their suits -- this might be X-EXO and when we see the scenes were they are in black, this could be EXO. Because in their "Obsession" MV we find out that the members in all black are EXO the good guys, and when we see them in the colorful outfits with the crazy hair and makeup that is their X-EXO alter ego clones.
This could also explain why Kai is dressed in a red suit. Although I am sure their stylists put him in red because he looks really good in it, I think SM chose it because it's another hidden message within the storyline. Usually, whenever we see red in EXO's MVs this has something to do with the Red Force, so for a long time I have been wondering why then would they put Kai in a red suit? However, now that we know about the X-EXO members, I am starting to think that when we see the members in their colorful suits and clothing in "Love Shot" this is actually the X-EXO members, so when we see Kai in red this is his alter ego clone, as well as the other members when we see them in suits, etc.
I also think maybe the members who are collecting all the flowers in "Love Shot" are really X-EXO, as part of some evil plot, etc. If you look at the members expressions and the outfits they are wearing in the scenes where you see them collecting the flowers, this reminds me a lot of what they looked like in their "Ko Ko Bop" MV. Since "Obsession," theories now think that what the "Ko Ko Bop" MV was showing us was X-EXO right after they were created as they are becoming acclimated to the world and learning how to use their powers, etc. Which would explain why everything in the "Ko Ko Bop" MV is so brightly colored as well.
But you should also know that no one really knows for sure what is happening in any of EXO's MVs. There are well known theories and storylines that are accepted within the fandom, which we think might explain what is happening in each MV. And there are theories about how each MV is connected and where each falls within their larger storyline, but nothing is set in stone. Fan theories are constantly evolving and changing with every introduction of a new piece of the puzzle.

Aaaahhh I'm so glad you did a part 2! - the one you've been pointing out in nearly every video is Chanyeol - the main rapper and he's also the one with the blue eyes in 'Tempo'!
I really think you should react to more... they're really good... i recommend 'Obsession' - Chanyeol has a really good rap part in that I think you'd like! also 'Lotto', and 'Power' and 'Lucky One'. - (Also 'Electric Kiss' and 'Coming Over' from their Japanese Album - the MVs for these are short versions too)
Also their really old stuff is good, like 'MAMA', 'History' and 'What is Love' but you might not like it as much as it's a lot like 'Growl' and 'Overdose'.
If you'd also like to hear some of their more emotional stuff 'Universe', 'Sing For You' and 'Miracles in December' (these are on their Holiday albums so maybe good for this month?)
Exo have 2 subgroups called EXO-CBX (EXO- Chen, Baekhyun and Xiumin) and EXO-SC (EXO- Sehun and Chanyeol- these are the two main rappers). These subgroups are amazing and I think a lot of their songs are just as good as the main groups stuff.
From EXO-SC I love all of their stuff but 'Telephone' and '1 Billion Views' are two of their more popular ones and 'Nothin' and 'On Me' are both solo songs by Chanyeol and Sehun. ('Just Us 2' is my personal favourite though.')
From EXO-CBX I think you'd like 'Hey Mama' and 'Blooming day'. 'Horololo' is famously quite strange but its very good and worth listening to for sure.
If you want to reeeeally get into them the members have a lot of solo songs - I suggest Baekhyun's solo songs 'UN Village', 'Candy' and 'Bambi'. Chanyeol's 'Yours' which is in collaboration with a bunch of other artists (it's a BEAUTIFUL song very very good 10/10) , and Kai's 'Mmmh' and 'Reason'

Suho's stuff if VERY emotional but beautifully crafted istg its like art. - the whole self portrait album but mostly 'Let's Love' and the live version of 'O2'
The other members have other great songs too but these are the ones I've seen being talked about the most.
Obviously you don't need to react to all of these, and not right away but EXO is such an amazing group with incredible talent and variety. I’m enjoying your videos. I’d like to suggest that the performers screen be a bit larger, if possible. I do most of my viewing from my iPhone and it gives an inch by inch and a half picture, which makes it very hard to see.

EXO-L are getting lazier and lazier to stream EXO songs and mvs because most of us are adult now but EXO-L purchasing power are insane even though 10 years has passed. Don't Fight The Feeling special 10th anniversary album is the best recent example. 1 Million copies of physical album was sold during the pandemic. Also, Baekhyun last solo album before enlisting in the military also sold 1 Million copies in less than a month.
FYI, EXO have a huge fame and impact in China. They have the largest kpop fanbase there and their mvs have billions views in China music platform. No kpop groups can beat them there for 10 years. Sadly the political issue between South Korea and China prevent EXO to promote there.
