A/N: The is the longest "narrative" video I've ever done (and the longest video I've done since May!). Wow. Lots of voiceovers! I didn't actually intend to jump back into the Mary/Matthew pool again so soon, but my friend gave me this song as a part of my Christmas present and I instantly was inspired.

matthew is always been the perfect guy for the family. lovable, smart, hardworker, thoughtful, supportive, and kind. he brings everything to the proper sphere. but while he is on top of everything, he dies tragicly😭😭😭
This was an epic romance. I haven't seen anything like it for years either on t.v. or in the movies. I don't understand why the writer and actor didn't see it or get it. Both should have had more regard for the show's fans. Unbelievable chemistry, lovely to look at as a couple, and ruined when they should have been happiest. How is that good t.v.? This is a beautiful video. Well made!!!
Rosmaria Menna i cannot tell you how much i agree with you. but feelings aside, we cant blame them. dan stevens wanted out because he wanted to 'explore'. he didnt want to stay tied to this big franchise and i say that's a bold move. as cool as it sounds, im still heartbroken. cause i just watched the episode just now. i mean right after the baby was born? they are soo cruel. especially since they killed sybil on the last birth.
Mother: "Do you love him?" Mary: "Yes, I think I do." HUH? She plays with people's minds so much, I think she doesn't know her own. Marvelous couple

I loved this couple but we must respect Dan’s decisions. I quote him “the comfort zone is an artist’s downfall” he needed to challenge himself. We must realise that even though the characters lives progress the actors themselves are tied down. I loved Mathew and Mary’s story and I was sad when it came to an end. But it’s not all bad because Dan got to move on for himself.

I discovered this series several weeks ago and have already watched all four seasons twice! This is my favourite Mary and Matthew video, especially around 1:45 when Carson starts speaking and the WW1 scenes start.
They are beyond perfection. And this song is just stunning, I bought the whole album immediately!

This is a beautiful video with exceptional editing. The music that plays along just seems to be made for it as emotions rise with every fast beat and with heart stopping dialogues.

I adored Matthew & Lady Mary but as he is insisting that he would choose his own wife, Mary shows up and BAM! He was already in love with her.
Awwww. Lovely. I just can't get enough of these two at the moment. I like the storytelling in this one; the way you focus on the main themes of their relationship over time rather than just telling it chronologically; you can see how their feelings evolved so clearly.

Wow. This is my favorite instrumental Matthew and Mary video! Amazing job, Lolilie!!! Beautiful, powerful music, great succession of scenes... it reminded me of a trailer for the show!!! It hit the perfect notes, dialogue and music together. The part in the middle, "the cold and careful Lady Mary Crawley..." was so artistically done!! Great progression of Matthew and Mary scenes! I can tell you put a lot of thought and detailed work into the video. Amazing job!!

I know it was mainly Dan Stevens who'd left that ended this, but I think Fellowes could have done something else about Matthew nonetheless, not have him killed right away!

If I didn't know better, I'd think this was an official trailer for a new film about a love story about a young aristocrat and the lawyer who loves her. :D. Seriously, this is so well done and rivals your "Calls Me Home" vid for my favorite Downton vid ever. Please continue to vid this show as much as possible.

This is absolutely AMAZING. Seriously, perfectly paced with the music and you chose all the most important scenes and went through the entirety of their relationship. Added it to my favorites, and will enjoy watching it again and again. You really sum up all that I love about their relationship.
