Nice. A lot of car manufacturers tend to install good head unit in their cars but uses really cheap speakers to go along with it. One manufacturer I know uses Clarion's head units but the speakers are so crappy that you can't even set the bass more than half before distortion kicks in.

Yeah. Kinda hidden truth that people doesn't care. 😂 Probably, I will be getting a car with Bose sound system. It's not a well reputated OEM brand this days but I'm still excited to experience it by my own since my school days. It's basic 8 (6.2 I think) speaker configuration. I already had demo once and can say good enough upgrade for me. 😅 I never hated such brands because there speakers being low qualities compared to aftermarket ones because I soon realised they get paid for tuning audio not for just installing high quality speakers without any calibration.
@Yash9278 yup that being said I love bose one of my favorite brands have the nc 700 bose sound bar 700 with 700 surrounds and 700 sub the bose home speaker 500 bose qc 35 my yukon has the bose system but I have many favorite brand jbl makes my favorite party speakers I have the jbl partybox 310 ,700, 1000 I have a klipsch surround rp 6000f ii for front left surround left surround Right with a 504c ii center channel and quad klipsch subs my other system has rel 1205 mk ii subs I like sony bass headphones along with senshiser momentum 4s all around have a good mixture audio equipment

@@Otrebor0707The Bose subwoofer is actually closer to a 4ohm impedance. DC resistance measures at 2.6ohms, which is what a 3.5-4ohm AC impedance speaker will measure. Using a 2ohm subwoofer could potentially damage the Bose amplifier if it's not rated for that low of impedance. It might be fine, but you don't really know since they don't give us those specs. Just something to be cautious about.
Are you saying instead of upgrading the speaker, you would go back with that cheap piece of crap China speakers? I think I'll take my chances on the upgrade.

The “Chinaaa!” sub is about 2 ohms. The Polk DVC 8” sub have 2 x 4 ohm coils. So I wired them in parallel to get 2 ohms.

probably not you can use like an LC2 to convert and then use a normal amp or just get an amp with high level input

this is a bad idea, because we have to recalculate the vented box for the new speaker. the sound may be unpredictable and of poor quality
