I actually think that this pedal is the cheapest option with the most Delay/Reverb features (from what I've seen anyway) Another great demo dude. When window shopping a million items like a mad lad, Your gear demo's are exactly what I need, straight to the tones and no extra fluff. Thank you mate.
@@BudgetPedalChap I'm sure Sonicake pedals will go up in price in the next year. They have great reviews for the most part and for what you geet, they actually seem too cheap. Much love bro
The digital chips used in the oldest Strymon gear are now 12 years and 3 generations old. More than good enough for serious pro sound but are now cheap enough to make pedals like the Sonicake. Anything more than this is more features not a better sound. Add to that if used for an always on sound just like one does with a Fender with a spring Reverb you simply never need more. In short a serious Pro product for $50
I bought one off Amazon and will use it to get the rockabilly sound. I'm running it off an old Crate BX-100 bass amp with equilizer and this pedal is a cheaper alternative then buying a separate reverb and delay pedal. I'm a drummer but I dabble in guitar this last year. I'm hoping it goes well for me.
My daughter is getting into music and has been building some pedals with me lately. There's not a lot of DIY options for reverb out there, so I think I'm going to grab this for the small board I'm building for her. Should sound cool with the Klon, OCD and OD-1 we built!
Yeah, drive and fuzz are pretty simple to make where the modulations and time based stuff is way more involved. When you've got options like this at a great price, it's hard not to 👍 sounds like an amazing project and great bonding moment
@@BudgetPedalChap for sure! Even if we built a delay and reverb with one of the available PCBs, it would still cost 2x the price of this and take up more space on the board. This seems like a great low-budget option!
It's definitely a budget classic in the waiting isn't it? They've priced it at a point where you would be stupid not to at least try one. Great bang for your buck 👍
1:43 If you want looooong delay time, try the Joyo/Harley Benton D-Seed (the first one, not nr 2), using the tap function it can delay up to 6 seconds. I tried it, If anything sounds weird it's a 6 seconds delay 🤣🤣
@@BudgetPedalChap It's a great pedal, with 2 settings you can store. I have mine set for basic lead delay and the other stored setting is what I call my 'Brian May' delay, like he used in his live guitar solos early 70s.
I have a cheapy Dr Tone delay which is so much nicer sounding than my Boss Dd8! It sounds super warm and sits right in the mix. All for about £25 brand new. Now I'm looking for an equivalent reverb. Any suggestions. Oh yes maybe the Levitate! 😁
The Levitate is fantastic, for sure. I have featured it again in an upcoming demo and it's still as good as I remember. If you're just after a great budget reverb, the Mosky spring is fantastic too 👍
I haven't tried it myself, but I think keys and guitar have different output impedance and volume so you might need something to boost or attenuate the signal
Can anybody advise me, how could you get tone like in this song. At 3 minutes, and 5 minutes 30. What effects are being used th-cam.com/video/BeDGep1d_GQ/w-d-xo.html

Cheers gent. Yeah, this one is a powerhouse for budget ambience and I'm pretty sure this will be a classic before long 👍

It is a great product and a great price 👍
That's interesting. I just assumed there'd be at pt2399 in the delay side and a belton brick in the reverb side, rather than anything more powerful
@@binface9 yeah that would have been my assumption too 👍
Algorithms are more important than DSP..

I think it could quickly become a budget classic 👍 you saw it here first

Got one of these a week ago, it's great. A true sleeper; they could sell it for $200 if they'd marketed it differently.

Thanks ,great demonstration my new pedal is on the way!!
Cheers. Let me know how you get on with it 👍
I just picked one of these up on aliexpress for like $37, it's going to match well with my maestro comet chorus 😊
Awesome, let me know how you get on 👍
Same haha
Ok, I'm getting one of these 👍
Yeah, it is good huh?
Killer demo..impressive tones i think i need one thank you 2thumbs up.
@@wilsonjames299 yeah, the Levitate is incredible for the money. I'm surprised I don't see them on more boards. Cheers for watching 👍
What a great pedal and review! Thanks, I'm going to buy one. 😊
Thanks very much. It's such amazing bang for your buck with this one, I was very impressed 👍 let me know how you get on
Thanks, just ordered one!
@@he11bent6 it's a beast of a unit and the price is great 👍
Sold! Nicely done. ✌️🎸
@@BrianR-ih1rq it's a great one stop shop for time based stuff 👍
This sounds like a sonic little oddball which is what i love
I think it'll be a future classic 👍
I need another delay pedal like I need a hole in the head but this is very good.
This one has an inbuilt reverb too, win win 👍
Nice review! I'd imagine you could dial up a dotted 1/8th delay with the tap tempo with this?
@@ImprovGuitarJams I assume so, you'd need to be much better at using delay than me to do it though 😂😂

I've always wanted to try the D seed but never got around to it. 6 seconds may be a bit too long for me, I'll be honest 🤣🤣🤣

It really does. It's so feature packed for an affordable pedal
Not bad...poor-man's Strymon in tha house!
Yeah it's deffo got those vibes eh? I can see these becoming quite a budget staple 👍
This is sooo goood!
By the way, have you tried the smaller reverb and delay pedals from Sonicake as well?
The sonic ambience was it? I've not, but I've got a contact at sonicake I can ask 👍
@@BudgetPedalChapThe plate reverb on the basic sonicake reverb is very nice.
Ne ho preso uno per usarlo sul sax non vedo l ora arrivi

Nice video !
Trail is like a shimmer ?
Trails usually means that it doesn't switch off straight away when you hit the footswitch, but rather let's the notes die out naturally
Uh 40 bucks and its revwrb and delay? Yes! Perfect
Totally. Two in one and they both sound really good too 👍
@@BudgetPedalChap awesome! I'm definitely getting it
Cool pedal for his prise,huh?
Absolutely phenomenal 👍

Can I use this one on a synthesizer as well?

@@ph_stuff for this price, you could have two and run them on the L and R outputs 😂😂😂

Sounds like a granular reverb. I think earthquaker devices do things that cater for this, not sure anything does at the lower price points
