my uncle was in long lartin A cat in the late 80s- early 90s.He came home after 6 years talking bout seeing a man stabbed and killed in the kitchens after a petty argument.He said the screws pointed out a man one time ,and said we don't like him , meaning child sex offender. my uncle saw bout 50 people fighting to stamp on dis guy head.He also told me bout a hot headed ex pro boxer who the screws used to let outta his cell to do some bag work as a remedial calling down process.This guy was very cranky and violent .Watching these vids now , realize he was talking bout warren slaney.I always thought my uncle embellished alot of the ling lartin A wing .But now can see he was totally telling the truth .just my 2 cents worth as someone who had a relative in there .

Its a crazy life aint it uncle, I had a colourful past from age 14 in Ashfield young offenders in Bristol around 2000, I done Parc in bridgend, Swansea, Cardiff, channing Wood in Devon, dartmoor, Onley, Birmingham and Walton.only have 3 convictions for violence but hundreds of charges, I was lucky in 2005 to get EPP instead of IPP, since coming off that sentence I've got a family, I found a trade that paid well (tree surgeon), started my own landscape design business and aimt looked back, just wish I'd changed a lot sooner, who knows where I'd be now. Your videos about no trust is spot on mate, I got sold out by co defendents every time I was in court, and the same ones even tried it with my ex misses telling her I was up to no good etc. I could write a few books on my past life, from a teens through 20s, seen some traumatic things in jails but to me the violence was all normal back then, I think I was wired different. I used to use my mind to play the system, work my way to being trusted then get red band/womble job, I managed it in Cardiff and Birmingham, was out of my cell 7 days a week, 365 days a year, Birmingham was the best as a womble, we had a kawasaki mock with trailer, we'd be collecting rubbish from the wings, take it back to our yard, then bin by bin would go on thes massive steel sorting table, we'd have to sort recycling and everything, well the best bins we'd always stash were the reception bins, all the contraband thats confiscated on reception, including evidence bags would come through with baccy and all sorts and the times we would vind drugs on the baccy pouches you wouldn't believe, then there was the parcels over the wall we were getting, we were only searched once when leaving our wing for work in the morning then on way back for lunch then after lunch on way to work and on way back at end of day. Between this we were going through all wings unsearched, that was the best sentence I ever done when I done 3 years In Winson Green finishing my EPP sentence. I was also on bbc behind bars live while still on remand for that sentence I was in Cardiff, I met nadia sawhalla off Easter Dersingham she was one of the presenters, my lord she is stunning, amazing personality and huge set of...eyes 👀 they are talking to my boy chubbsy while I'm stood paimting/making block furniture, I weren't allowed to speak cause I weren't sentenced
My mate was in longlartin and he was on trial for murder his co d who I knew as well was in whitemoor 3 screws used to bring them to cardiff on Sunday 3 screws sitting out side there door till 8pm and come back at 6am,then they had to take them to the block to get ready for court separately went on for 13 weeks,helicopters a cat vans separate wings,they ended up with 44 years life tariff they were both 8n there 40s and my friend sed it was going off everyday,so if your on the book double a cat can you mix with normal population and get a food boat he said the drug seen is still popping but 44 years for a grand wtf!

I managed to get to long lartin twice before I was 36. I was only doing four and a half and later a 10. Lartin can be harsh, but Your right ,I used to carry a knife in my waste band, all the time when I was out on the wing. As we could have real knives and tools from the office. I do consider to be a lucky man, to get out in one piece. However, keep to the principles and dont borrow shit! Everybody has their crew, and You just got to be respectful. One of my boys from newport got shipped from hmp Cardiff around 2006 to long lartin after he got sentenced. He took a guilty charge to save 2 people from what I remember, they got done on armed robbery on some mansion owned by the guy who owned the FHM lads magazine, I think the guys son was in on it but screwed them over if I remember right.

I’m a shocker for self judgement, even my therapist is due me a slap when he hears me laugh as at the time full blown memories of a younger me made me feel shame when I laughed. Some coping mechanisms we pick up we lose, but don’t let the stain of survival eat away at your self compassion bro. Excellent way of experience explaining. You must remember- there might be maybe 50 serious criminals in the prison system out of 100k !! The rest are basically violent nobody’s who couldn’t punch there way out of a women’s toilet ! 50 serious crimes and I’d say only 8/10 of them could organise a hit properly! I’m not talking about these one hit wonders then get caught and are now doing a 25 Rec - I’m talking 15 on the score board and not so much as a parking ticket . Ses a lot for the criminal population of the U.K. - violent and game yes ! Organised and deadly very much no !!

Have you been a fan for a long time and do you ever get chance to go to any games? You've got some interesting stories mate, some bad stuff goes on in prisons eh, your channel might hopefully put off any young kids who are thinking about getting into crime, it never pays off in the end and most usually end up spending at least a bit of time locked up. Its a complete waste of time and as you get older you definitely realise how precious your time is.

Alright Yammy I m watching your channel from 2 stretch ago.I saw a documentary about HMP Whitemoor .Ɓeing Scottish I ve always heard of Long Ĺartin being the jail most conc didn't want to go to.Shotts was like that in the 90s .Theresa's a metal shop where blades an them Chinese throw ing stars were threw at the screws it was amad house of a jail .If you weren't up early you could be stabbed. I liked it back then sad to say but that was true.Itry now to tell that young mob they wouldn't like it.Good story Yammy show a lot what you came through as you have and now are doing well with your journey changing your life people should listen to you.Stay Free from John G

You must remember- there might be maybe 50 serious criminals in the prison system out of 100k !! The rest are basically violent nobody’s who couldn’t punch there way out of a women’s toilet ! 50 serious crimes and I’d say only 8/10 of them could organise a hit properly! I’m not talking about these one hit wonders then get caught and are now doing a 25 Rec - I’m talking 15 on the score board and not so much as a parking ticket . Ses a lot for the criminal population of the U.K. - violent and game yes ! Organised and deadly very much no !!

Easy yammy, hows it going pal? I hope you're well matey. Yammy how come you came to be a Leeds United fan when you're from down south? Have you been a fan for a long time and do you ever get chance to go to any games? You've got some interesting stories mate, some bad stuff goes on in prisons eh, your channel might hopefully put off any young kids who are thinking about getting into crime, it never pays off in the end and most usually end up spending at least a bit of time locked up. Its a complete waste of time and as you get older you definitely realise how precious your time is.
