I’ve been learning to pump on skate shoes and I’m really feeling the pain. I see you wear an ASIC running shoe. Assuming you would recommend them, what version of the asic runner are you wearing? Given an unlimited budget, what shoe would you recommend for LDP. Enjoying all your reviews.
Hi Matthew, Thanks for watching my videos! For shoes it is very personal. The reason why I chose Asics is that they have a very durable sole, called AHAR. corp.asics.com/en/about_asics/institute_of_sport_science/technology/ahar This comes in use when pushing wears your sole and the rest of the shoe is still good.
Would it be silly to get this setup just for general fun distance pushing? My daughter has been getting way into scootering so I’ve gotten back into pushing a longboard to go with her. We’ve been doing maybe 4-5 miles a day lately. Anyways, my issue is that a nice commuter board like a pantheon all kitted out and shipped is about half as much as this gbomb/rocket setup. Is it so specialized though that it just doesn’t feel great outside of racing?
Ever had a problem with the longboard truck bolts getting loose? Don't wanna tighten it too much cause I can see one layer started cracking around the hole where the bolt goes. (drop through longboard) Was thinkin of gettin a 1 mm pad in between the board and the washer and tighnening a lil more. Also thinkin loctite or maybe lock washers.. Any suggestions?
Hi, I never experienced this but understand what you mean. There are backing plates to solve this issue: www.riptidesports.com/other/backing-frames-for-drop-through-trucks/ Good luck!
Thanks for the video . It's really informative.
What do you think of the Black Dog Zero Degree, it's like the Delirium.
Thix for the superb review !!
