The longing to become an adult when you were young and yearning for the younger years was so powerful. I remember clearly being in sixth grade and my friends wanted to become adults to escape the pressures of homeworks and school. 25 years later and practicing meditation I realize how we’ve been denying ourselves of the present moment back in the day by wanting to become something that’s far into the future; a future that did not exist at the time.

Yes thats the way the system was designed to qualify and get greedy and selfish that the education system .monastic learning. school of indian philosophy adi shankaharaya lineage .do parents should send their children to these type of learning .like this person do it from an early age .the educational system from small wants you to be something in the future and sometimes a genuine soul fails because his mind daydreaming while learning .so he can't focus and fails his exams and he becomes a failure to everyone his parents teachers friends when everyone passes exams he fails they studied syllabus while the genuine soul wanted to genuinely learn everything but too playful and mind wandering one day this person wakes up by finding mindfulness and his journey now starts a new beginning he learns very easily by paying attention being aware becomes one pointed and can expand awareness and multitasking .that is ability to do many things at the same time. This was a lesson I learned .till I was introduced to . philosophy .yoga meditation . mindful and mindless ness .. continues to apply these principles till it becomes natural . meditation becomes natural and spontaneous .without any effort .as they say when you now start use effortless effort .till it dawn's on you as a natural part of your being .you realize your own awareness it's not meditation ,meditation Is something you want to aquire ,awareness is you. do become aware of your awareness . awareness watching awareness. The mind become still .by being present from moment to moment

I'm not saying it totally got rid of it but it showed me a different perspective of how you can be aware of your thoughts when you are inside your spiral of thoughts. I think the way Mingyur Rinpoche explains meditation, It's just so easy and beautiful.

after a year of meditating is was able to be aware of my awareness. it is like you see through your eyes with awarness. notice that awareness, that is looking through your eyes. the same with taste. notice the not the taste, but the awareness that is having the taste. you can be aware and feel your body, your skin. notice the awareness, what is feeling your skin. thats how to be aware of awareness. it makes your mind totally peaceful. thats a promise. even more peaceful than meditating about an object

Fabulous! One of the best things that happened to me. You simplify the art of meditation and make it so practical. The explanation on awareness was the aha moment! The Monkey mind analogy... hilarious but true. The mind creates big issues out of small issues. I had not slept well for one week and after this watching this video I practiced the meditation and voila!... it worked. The stress was gone, i slept deeply for the first time in many days

I stumbled across this post whilst on a short walk.... It grasped my attention massively. My overthinking mind needed this. I ended up walking further, like he was in my head guiding me. Ended up doing 9k 😊
Absolutely grateful for his knowledge. My mind is calmer and I'm putting the techniques in place.
    Absolutely brilliant post ❤

As a toddler I had the aware of awareness and grew up like that... Until all hell broke out and had to sacrifice all what I felt it made me alive.
Now days I try to remember how as a child-teenager I did what I did with my mind because from time to time I kinda... Get back to it but the monkey mind and the rage quickly fix things back to hell.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge, because somehow my body remembers more and more with your wisdom.

Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. ❤️💫❤️
