You are a cool guy and I am sure you can play bass well, but what is the point of reading tab for us? Is this like a service for people who can‘t read tab? It‘s not that difficult 😳 I think it would be better to teach the things the tab cannot tell us.
hi, thanks for your comment and your suggestions, to be honest, the reason I started to put regular notation and tabs was that on the first videos I uploaded people were asking me to put notation and tabs, so the tabs are for real beginners, and the notation for the ones who know how to read regular notation, the idea is that every bass player would be able to play de song doesn't matter their level, I'm thinking to start a new series of videos where I teach how to read music and the instrument with exercises to build technic and theory. let me know what you think, happy holidays, keep grooving
@@javierrodriguezmusic What would be really helpful and what I cannot find on TH-cam is somebody who analyzes and breaks down songs for bass. Explain the time signature, key, chords etc. which are used. Then maybe explain different methods how a beginner, intermediate or advanced player could play it (even though I guess advanced players know what they do). Also maybe explain techniques like legato, staccato which are/can be used in the song. But I guess this would be a lot of work. And it also depends on the goal: Playing the song exactly as the original is one thing. Understanding the song and playing variations and interpretations is another. The second is rarely to find
