Nice job Steve. All these other videos show how to solder when the pipe is free to move. Like a demo on a workbench. Yours showed a typical tight spot fix when the pipes don't move. To the point and clear.
Great job. I will be doing this to fix my good tree sprayer when I have time. I'll have to figure something else for now, because I have to get them sprayed before they bloom. Have a great day!
That slip coupler is saving me big bucks repairing a brand new Taco air scoop whose crap threads will not seal to 1-1/4 adapters. Good sealant, good torque (by feel of course) but I suspect Taco's full paint job on the threads messed up the sealing. One drop every few minutes.
you know steve , you need another baby dog to keep baby dog company when your working. can't wait to see that video with all them dancing feet Ha Ha !!!!
From your experience how long would soldering flux in plastic container stays good? 5 years, 10 years till it's dries out? when do you need to buy new one? Thanks.
Beach/summer house which has no heat and that is why he has shutoffs to drain pipes. He must not have drained that pipe properly before closing for the winter.
I am so confused! instead of cutting and removing the copper pipe that was damage, why didn't you just clean the area where the slit cut was at and then just solder it with the flux?? You didn't have to remove the pipe, just solder the piece that was cut open!
That's a big gap.. the flow of solder due to gravity may not give it a solid piece that covers the slit. This is the proper way to do it though a bit more work. Another way is to wrap the split with copper wire tightly an solder the entire wrap; again it is not the proper way to repair a bad weak point on the slit.
Your dog was trying to tell you that it needed to go potty badly! Next time please get your dog outside of your van before you go to your next job, just trying to help you understand what you're dog is trying to tell you 😃👍♥️...p.s. you would be dancing too if you had to go to the bathroom and you where chained to your vehicle all day long!! Come on dance for US! "NOT SO CUTE NOW HUÚU?" You shut up!!!!!
Thanks Steve, your videos got me through my alcohol addiction.

Thanks for getting some shots of the grinding wheel Steve. I'm going to pick some of those up online. Great repair and great video!
The disk grinder is a nice touch and far better than going at it with a Sawzall.
The gundy was astronomical. Another beauty Steve!

Why do all these houses have outside showers? I see em on beach houses for washing sand off but I can't figure why you have em up north.

Woof woof woof wooof.....SHADDAP! 👍🏻😂
Steve, I usually do repairs on coil splits by tapping the split closed, and using silver solder (Silfos). What are your thoughts on this?
11:54 I'm always curious what he's saying. Is it nigloo? I can't figure it out but it's a fun word, not really sure what it means either
