- When you're J.R.A. (just riding along) and boom next thing you know the ground reaches up and grabs you! Patches of ice under the snow can be treacherous. It happens to us all at some point. My wife is a strong experienced rider and doesn't crash often but when she does it's best to get it on video.
No one was hurt in the making of this TH-cam short!

Once you slap on studs, you’ll be looking out for icy patches so you can ride them hard! You’ll grip like Velcro! Completely changes your winter riding experience! Night and day! I hope she’s was ok! What a good sport she was!

Lower tire pressure would help a lot too if you aren’t getting studs. Hope she was okay!
She was fine . Yeah we're pretty aware of the lower tires pressure thing sometimes you don't know until you know!. I 'd say "don't ride on the ice if you can help it" ;)
@@YourCouchsucks Yeah for sure! I definitely often ride with too high of pressure because I bike to the trail and so sometimes I’m praying when I see ice haha! Lol

@@YourCouchsucks I've been looking into the setup that motorcycle ice racers use.
My battery array is...massive.
So if I were to move some of it to the rear panniers, and some to front panniers, that should overcome the lack of weight problem bicycles usually have with traction devices.
Between that, and adding a front hub motor for 2wd, I should be able to meet my goal of a vehicle that takes over in conditions that stop my 4wd jeep.
@@Zomby_Woof A few folks are way have been suing 45NRTHDillinger 5 Studded Fatbike Tubeless Tires. For what I do haven't really needed that on top of they are expensive....but???
