Unpopular opinion: I LOVE Knight Optimus’ design. Super sleek and look so badass, so so happy we’re getting an SS one. And a LEADER!?!?
I can't wait for Devastator! That will be awesome! My local target had a bunch of 86 leader Grimlock warming the shelves for a long time. I couldn't believe they weren't selling
I mean, if you were a little less scrupulous, you could have bought them all then sold the rest on the aftermarket.
@isuckatusernames4297 I never said I wasn't. At that point, I felt like I had already purchased enough grimlock figures. I have multiple of every mass release studio series figures nib in a climate controlled storage unit. Enough to make at least three complete collections to date. At the time, Grimlock wasn't selling so hot. I also have one of every ss figure on display. I have transformers I don't even remember purchasing.

That MV6 Bumblebee is probably the 77 Camaro Bee from the end of the Bumblebee movie. Also Apelinq will probably be a light retool of Primal which sucks because his Ape mode is supposed to be as tall as Scourge.
At least he'll have his blades & new munky head. & BBM Bee should be a new VW Beetle form, cuz Bee will probably be the same as he was in RotB in TF3. So, no need. Just release Normal Camaro Bee for TF3 & make a new VW Beetle Bee.

Well, they're doing BBM Concepts characters like Megatron, Shockwave, and Rumble, so why not Transit?
They haven’t made this character since he was cut when prime faced him in the deleted scene

Apelinq is bigger than Primal in the sense that he’s bulkier. Height wise though, they should be identical from what we see in the film (Apelinq appears taller in one particular shot due to his posture, but measuring their faces out and comparing him to Scourge seems to affirm that he’s no taller than Primal).
Something of particularly annoying note, however, is that the gorilla alts are larger than the bot forms in ROTB. I thought it was just weird scene to scene scaling at first, but the official charts show that Primal’s beast mode is larger than his bot mode, meaning Apelinq’s primary stand out form will unfortunately suffer from dwarfism when translated to plastic since he shares the same mass shifting gimmick.

DOTM Shockwave reissue is great news! On my hunt list of Studio Series figures I was willing to overpay for......so if they could just give me Bayverse Sentinel Prime, Jetfire, and Ironhide reissues then my life would be complete

This could be the best year for Studio Series since it's introduction. A near perfect balance of Bayverse, BBM/ROTB, 86, GE. I'm really looking forward to it!

Theres no need to make any of them Commander. Theres 6 of them. They can easily be done as Deluxes, Voyagers, or Leaders. Commander Class could & should be Stratosphere!! & same, I'm SUPER hyped for Devastator!

Still can't believe my childhood dream of having an entire DOTM autobot cast will be accomplished within a year. Especially with the modern day engineering, I am hoping for that SS Que to be a banger, just like Bee, Dino and Sideswipe.
Technically the twins made a brief appearance in DOTM so the set will never truly be complete...

que, hatchet, widow maker, aoe prime, shockwave re-release. this is all stuff ive been wanting for years from the bayverse. my wallet is in danger. plus apelinq, which i think a slight upscale with less accessories will be what happens. super hype, but too bad itll take a long ass time

I feel like the reason why Widowmaker isn’t a character is because the design team remembered Michael Bay’s humor and ROTF and just scrapped her all together

I'm hoping for an evasion mode Prime announced down the line, but the leader gotta be the Knight Prime. The design for Optimus from the first three movies have really grown on me over the years, and Evasion Prime was my favourite part of Age of Extinction.

And it looks like it won’t take ages like the RotF Devastator since four of the gang are listed already. I’m assuming Long Haul and Hook are also Voyagers and will be out in 2026…?

I really wish we could get a Studio Series Deluxe Bayverse Scorponok, I know Blackout came with a little version.
But I absolutely love the Bayverse design for the character and would love to get a bigger and more articulated/detailed version.
I need studio series Jetfire re-issued. He really is too fragile for me to transform, and I’d love for them to improve him.

I don't want Widow Maker to be a retool of Stinger, but maybe they can tweek the design so it won't be a shell former. But only where it makes sense. Like the headlights/fenders(?) on the shoulders for example.

I was hoping knight Optimus prime would be more for TLK. So it could come with an alternate nemesis head. But if they intend to do nemesis prime separate. I can see dna design doing an upgrade kit with the head

Just fyi. Me Personally, I'm looking forward to the movie alot! It has alot of potential to be amazing! & its current release date (hopefully it doesn't get delayed) is my Bday, which is cool! & the movie will either be a standalone prequel (not being connected to anything apart from itself) or a prequel to the Knightverse. 1:37 According to some (technically unofficial) sources, Bee will be called by a few names, including B-127, in the movie. A few other characters that were confirmed to be in the movie are Jazz & Arachnid (probably based on TFP version).
2:15 Sentinel was never in any movie. DotM Sentinel is more of his own character entirely who is partially based on Alpha Trion.

I’m hyped for the TFO (transformers one) studio series figures and SS 86 Devastator. I don’t collect 86 characters because I was too late to get the previous ones and I am not going in debt for characters on eBay. WFC characters are also making me hyped. AND LET’S GOOOOOO MORE BAYVERSE STUDIO SERIES FIGURES!!!!! I love their studio series figures I find their designs unique. And I can’t wait for Shockwave AND the AOE transformers. Rest in peace to my wallet because I am defiantly buying most of these guys. So much more characters as well. Like the ROTB figures. Us transformers fans eating good next year
I love that they're making something for everyone out there, and it would be stupid not to. I just want the 86 series lol and will be definitely looking forward to the constructicons. I'm dying waiting for swoop to come out sometime this month, for me it's not only a nostalgia thing but also my twin boys are into transformers one more than the other. And it will be nice to show them what they looked like and did when I was growing up
Edit: swoops release date has been pushed back to July 1st at least for GameStop. But I pre-ordered so I am waiting patiently lol and grimlock is the last one I need for the dinobots
Looking forward to Devastator, but a bit surprised that they havenmt released the Arialbots to combat Menasor, before doing another Decepticon combiner. Glad it’s Devastator!
2025 sounds amazing. Really like the release strategy for a new 86 Devastator. 4 in one year sounds almost to good to be true. Definitely not missing out on these like the Legacy Minosaur limbs though tbf Commander class Motormaster is pretty decent as is. The most exciting Bayverse news for me is a LC Prime as the original voyager needs a serious update. Pretty sure it won't be the Evasion Prime as that is already very close to the Bee Prime. Speaking of which definitely going to be on the look out for the ROTB Prime release. Widow Maker also looks like she could be a great addition to the SS lineup. DOTM Shockwave is also going on the watch list.
One thing I’d love is for them to re release some old molds, there’s a lot of studio series even in the last year that I never even saw on shelves

Leader Knight Optimus got me HYPE! Him being a leader figure is a really good thing. That means he can have the engineering to blow that old kibbletastic voyager AND all his accessories.
Still bummed we still haven't gotten the rumored voyager IM prime as its been listed. And hear me out its been almost 4 years since the listed voyager 3 pack of junkheap 😢
I only hope they put a little more thought and care to Devastator than they did with Legacy Menasor. That one was a major let down. Nonetheless, Devastator was overdue as the Devastation version had several flaws with poor choices and usage of unproven matting points resulting in many broken tabs and connections.
Now I have to decide between the comic grimlock or the 86 reissue

This is really great info, although I had to listen to it at a slower speed. LOL This Bayverse stuff, most of it just looks really bad in my opinion and some of the movies don't help but I am excited about the 86 Devastor. I have the original so I'm not sure I'll buy the new one but it sounds awesome. Great video. Keep it up.

The only complaint that I might have with the constructicons would be that the limbs aren’t leader class.
I think it would be best if the libs were leader class and then maybe commander for long haul. This way if you make hook and long haul commander class or only make long haul commander and hook leader and you would still have plenty of budget for accessories and making sure that devastator himself looks really good.
I'm looking forward to getting these figures. But we just started, 2024, it's kinda early to look at 2025.
I'd love if they re-issued the Studio Series Bay-verse Ironhide. My favourite character and never managed to get one! I do have the original DOTM Q/Wheeljack though. Love that figure but would trade him in a heartbeat for the SS Ironhide 😂

Well I can 100% guarantee you that we will be getting a Studio Series 86 Unicron most likely based on the Cell studio version with a few modifications and a more cartoonish color scheme
