Hi 👋 Thanks for sharing your experience. Good to hear your phone works fine even after being in a stream. IP rating did its job there 👍 It could've been better with a telephoto lens since it gives better quality and taking animal photo is easier. I am using this as my second phone too 🖖
Thank you so much for the kind word. 😊 I think you can find a decent deal soon. For example, Saturn in Germany has slashed a lot on Samsung products at the moment. 8gb ram is better future proofed than 6gb and I think you are gonna love it. Wish you the best deal!
I purchased this phone saturday and the fact that you said that it doesn't heat up much makes me relived because two weeks ago I got the s21fe which is a great phone but unfortunately it had exynos 990 and when I used it for basic things like youtube , netflix, tiktok and instagram it started heating in minutes and there was a rattling noise near the camera. I got lucky when I purchased the a52s, the price was 289 euros but it recently went up to 361 euros. Anyways good review man.

14:22 I just found that Ram Plus is controlled through Settings -> Battery -> Memory. Some users find that enabling virtual memory with Ram Plus can hurt performance, because the virtual memory is not as fast.
Yeah, it's "virtual" memory and it uses empty storage space as a virtual memory. I guess it's better to have this option than nothing but we cannot expect the same performance as DDR ram.
Hi. I like your stile and i love your honesty, but if I may offer a piece of constructive criticism, when doing a review you should address common problems experienced by users. For example, a lot of people complain about the virtual proximity sensor. Anyways, good review.
I gotta choose between Realme GT 5g 12GB Ram 256GB storage and A52S 5G 6GB Ram and 128GB storage. Both are the same price. I really don't know which one to choose. Yes, I think it's a nice upgrade for mainly two reasons; 1. AMOLED display with 120hz refresh rate. Samsung always offers the best display for the price and you won't be able to go back below 120hz once you see it. 2. Snapdragon 778G. It's way faster than the Snapdragon 720G in Note 9 pro. Hi. Battery life is still decent. I haven't seen any deterioration yet. Yeah, I’m totally okay with that. I mean it’s always nice to have extra battery life but I can’t go back to 60hz once I saw 120hz. It makes a huge difference, imho.
@@Technoliath Okay, thanks again. With this clear manner, I imagine that you will have great success in the field of phone reviews, keept it bro ... I wish you more success.
Really nice review. I have a question though. I bought a Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 back in February and I'm thinking about giving it to my dad, and I want to buy a new phone for me. So, should I buy another RN11, a Mi 11 Lite 5G NE or this A52 5G?
Mi 11 Lite 5G is an upgrade if you can drop IP 67, headphone jack, and 120hz refresh rate. It has better processor than A52s. Redmi Note 11 is a downgrade except battery, charging speed, and FM radio. It has way slower processor than A52s. I think you are gonna like A52s if you put display quality before everything else. Samsung always has shown the best display. And IP 67 rating on A52s is better than IP 53 on the other devices. The thing is there are A52 5G and A52s 5G. A52 5G is way slower than A52s 5G due to the processor so make sure to buy A52s 5G. That little 's' makes a lot of difference.
I would go for A52s. Xiaomi 12 lite doesn't have sd card slot and headphone jack. S20 fe is going to be obsolete in 2024 because the software update will end in 2023, which is just 3 months from now.
It's a hybrid dual sim card slot by default. You cannot use two sim cards with SD card in it. But check whether the model you buy says it's a dual sim model. Just in case.
Hey! Pls help me. Am thinking of buying the a52s 6gb ram and the Google pixel 6a but idk about the 60hz. Also, I live in Greece which Google doesn't support with a result 5g not working on the Google pixel 6a and if it breaks or u get a bad device i can't return. Only way to fix it is to send back to Google for them to see it which will take a month. Pls help which one to choose. I really like the Google pixel 6a though.
Hi. A52s is a smarter choice in many ways. It has bigger and smoother display. 60hz and 120hz makes a huge difference, in my opinion. Gorilla glass 5 on A52s is two generations ahead than Gorilla glass 3 on Pixel 6a. I have used Google Tensor on Pixel 6 and Snapdragon 778g feels faster than the Tensor. A52s has micro sd card slot, headphones jack, better camera, and longer battery life. The only downside that I can think of is it's not stock Android but some might prefer One UI. I would choose A52s over Pixel 6a. The Pixel is missing out so many good stuff.
No worries. Redmi Note 11 pro+ seems to be better in terms of spec except ap and selfie camera. But I don't recommend it because of ap and reliability.
The processor has enough power to handle smooth slo-mo and Samsung does camera updates if needed. So yeah I think it will be. But what kind of problem do you have with slo-mo?
I'm deciding between samsung A52s and realme 10 pro plus. In realme, the lack of optical stabilization and a headphone jack confuses. The camera is very important to me. What's confusing about the a52s is that it's an old model. Help me choose🙏

Hi...very clear explanation...can u suggest me a Mobile Best for Front cam video recording & obviously Performance & battery....My budget would be 370 dollars Max...
I think A52s is still a nice phone in that budget range. Amazon India is offering a modest discount on A52s now and it's just within your budget. amzn.eu/d/fEJAE7e Or if you want 4 years of Android updates then A73 can be a better option. It has 8gb ram, bigger display, and better rear camera. It's a bit more expensive but sales season is coming so maybe waiting for a deal could be a good idea. amzn.eu/d/hHwlbxT Hope you get a phone you want!
A73 5G looks good. It has better main camera, bigger battery, larger display, 4/5 years of Android/security updates, the same SD 778G and lighter. It doesn't have a headphone jack though. It is 36,119 INR on Amazon India so within your budget.
I am moving to Germany for studies this year and I was curious that this phone supports the LTE bands in Germany or not , now I am going to buy this Thank you for the review
I'm sorry for responding late. I have been feeling unwell. I think so. You are gonna see the difference on the display. A52s has Super AMOLED 120hz and iPhone 11 has LCD 60hz display. It makes a huge difference. The iPhone's AP, A13 is a bit better than the Snapdragon 778G in A52s but I think A52s is a solid upgrade for everything else.
Thank you! I appreciate your sub 🙏 Unfortunately, I am using this phone as my backup. But I think I’m gonna do a giveaway in the future so don’t miss it!
in 2023, Straight Talk is making changes which will make this phone incompatible. (Verizon bought Straight Talk.) I have just switched to Mint Mobile, which is compatible. I am very happy with my A52s 5G.
Yeah sorry to hear your experience with S22. My S22 Ultra gets hot way faster than A52s. Snapdragon 778G in A52s doesn't heat up as much as or as fast as S22.
@@Technoliath im living in tropical country btw, there is only summer and winter season only, in the summer time and even while charging the frame toast my finger.
I guess you are experiencing battery problem with iphone 11 so my answer is YES. I think you are gonna like display, camera, and battery life. Other stuff like sd card slot, headphone jack etc are plus.
Good question. I wouldn't buy S20 FE in 2022 because Android 13 will be the last update and that's next year. The phone itself is okay. I had used it for about half year and I liked it but I don't see any reason to buy S20 FE at this point.
Thanks a lot bro I was exctually planing to buy a52s but s20fe5g was also a good deal in almost the same price I was confuse between these two. Is Iq neo 6 also a recommended phone over a52s?
I see S20 FE on a huge sale quite a lot these days. Maybe because it's gonna be obsolete very soon. A52s is definitely a better choice over S20 FE. If you meant Vivo iQoo Neo 6, it seems like a better phone than A52s in terms of spec except for SD card slot, headphone jack, selfie camera, and battery life. I would personally choose A52s coz I trust Samsung more.
@@Technoliath I paid something 345 dollars in india(27600 rupess) for the 8/128 gb variant is it good price ...and why samsung charge more than other android mobile manufacturing companies? Is it for brand value ,ip ratings or tech support?? I can easily get same specifications phone in 250-300 dollars
That's fair for 8gb ram model. There are many reasons and I would say spec is not everything. Some people weigh other factors more than just specification. It could be brand, design, ecosystem, familiarity, color, software support, and the list can go on forever. I think for this phone the reason is 14:37 Thanks for the question. It is fundamental and I liked thinking about it. 👍
Samsung couldn't even bring an object eraser to the A52s, they removed the object eraser that came with the February update, shame on Samsung, they are deceiving Turkey.
I think Samsung wanted to push A53 more and the result is ditching the object eraser on A52s?! Not really a thoughtful move because Snapdragon 778G can handle it and everyone knows it. XCover 6 Pro has the same processor and it has the object eraser so I can't come up with a better idea than it was a poorly executed segmenting strategy.

@@Technoliath s.k tech we are waiting for your help from turkey for this a52s object eraser, you can contact samsung please, I ask you to greet with respect
I think Samsung won't fix something just because we ask for it. Here's my experience; When I was doing S21 FE review I found out the battery information on Samsung USA's website is not correct. It says S21 FE has 4,000 mAh battery, which is wrong information and it should be 4,500. And the website says S21 5G has 4,500 mAh but it actually has 4,000 mAh so the numbers should replace each other. I had a live chat with its customer service desk (I had to go through a chatbot to get to an actual human and it took some time). The CS personnel told me I need to contact another department to fix this. I already spent half hour getting to this point and I saw no motivation to bring this problem to another desk spending extra time. So I stopped. And I think the CS person told me the wrong department since it was a technical problem department. As a result, Samsung USA is still displaying the wrong battery information for S21 FE and S21 5G. Samsung is such a huge company and it takes more than two of us to change its software policy. GOS is a good example. I checked that you can have a chat on Samsung Turkey's website. If you really want to talk to them about this matter, I think you can reach out to Samsung through it. But my experience is not so positive. Frankly, I know I can't help anyone on this issue. It's WAY above and beyond my capability.
@@Technoliath You are a really good friend, a good leader, Samsung is very indifferent, you can solve this problem, we trust you, Turkey Samsung is very uninterested, I don't just make money, I thank you very much.

Yeah it had to cut corners and the speaker got hit. Thanks for sharing your thought 👍
Samsung s20fe,,a52s or xiaomi 12 lite?
I would go for A52s.
Xiaomi 12 lite doesn't have sd card slot and headphone jack.
S20 fe is going to be obsolete in 2024 because the software update will end in 2023, which is just 3 months from now.
Is this dual SIM by default or do you have to buy a specific model?
It's a hybrid dual sim card slot by default. You cannot use two sim cards with SD card in it.
But check whether the model you buy says it's a dual sim model. Just in case.
thanks
I ask you again. Is the wifi pickup weak or strong? Thank you
It receives wifi pretty well.
No issue at all.
Thanks for the quick reply keep it up
hi men forgev my English you recommend this phone our the redmi note 11pro+5g
No worries. Redmi Note 11 pro+ seems to be better in terms of spec except ap and selfie camera. But I don't recommend it because of ap and reliability.
Bad slow motion video quality will it be fixed in future updates?
The processor has enough power to handle smooth slo-mo and Samsung does camera updates if needed. So yeah I think it will be.
But what kind of problem do you have with slo-mo?
I will buy this phone in 3 hours from now at Malaysia. 🎉
Excellent choice! I hope you like your new phone.
this is my phone now, can i use a 20w charger from ipad air for this?
Yes. It supports up to 25w and 20w charger will work fine.
Hi I was wondering which phone to you is better a53 or a52s
Hello.
For me, it's A52s. Hands down.
I'm deciding between samsung A52s and realme 10 pro plus. In realme, the lack of optical stabilization and a headphone jack confuses. The camera is very important to me. What's confusing about the a52s is that it's an old model. Help me choose🙏
Which one did you ended up buying? And do you like it?
@@topg7 As a result, I abandoned these options. I chose Samsung S21 FE. I like everything except the battery - it is weak.
Is it worth upgrading to this from an iPhone 7?

I haven't used iPhone 7 but have used 6s and 8 plus.
You are gonna experience a whole new world when you upgrade from iPhone 7.

I thought to buy this phone but i want phone with good battery can u plz tell about its battery i want not for gaming just for social media specially for netflix or youtube plz tell about its battery how much battery drain in 3 hrs watch movie with normal brightness

3 hour TH-cam won't drain battery that much. I will test exactly what you said and leave the result here.
@@Technoliath ok sir thxs i also thought about a73 but it has no handfree jack which i want. And plz tell one last thing that samsung a31 i used now has good battery than a52s
Test completed.
It went from 100% to 65% for watching 3 hour TH-cam in 4k with median brightness and sound.
I watched the following video in 4k
th-cam.com/video/ofUOATVjKF0/w-d-xo.html
A31 has larger battery than A52s but Snapdragon 778G is more efficient than Mediatek P65 so I think A52s has better battery life.
@@Technoliath ok sir thank u very much great job u did
Is it worth it to buy 2nd hand of this?
Sorry for late response. I don’t think so in 2024 coz the OS update is over for A52s.
A52s or iPhone SE 2020???
Great info review
Glad it was helpful! Thanks for watching!
Hi...very clear explanation...can u suggest me a Mobile Best for Front cam video recording & obviously Performance & battery....My budget would be 370 dollars Max...
Thank you for your comment.
Where are you based?
@@Technoliath India
I think A52s is still a nice phone in that budget range. Amazon India is offering a modest discount on A52s now and it's just within your budget.
amzn.eu/d/fEJAE7e
Or if you want 4 years of Android updates then A73 can be a better option. It has 8gb ram, bigger display, and better rear camera. It's a bit more expensive but sales season is coming so maybe waiting for a deal could be a good idea.

A73 5G looks good.
It has better main camera, bigger battery, larger display, 4/5 years of Android/security updates, the same SD 778G and lighter. It doesn't have a headphone jack though.
It is 36,119 INR on Amazon India so within your budget.

I am moving to Germany for studies this year and I was curious that this phone supports the LTE bands in Germany or not , now I am going to buy this
Thank you for the review
This phone SUPPORTS LTE network in Germany. I have tested with Vodafone and Alditalk. It worked just fine 🙂
@@Technoliath Thank you very much
Nice review, thanks
Is it a good upgrade from iphone 11??
I'm sorry for responding late. I have been feeling unwell.
I think so. You are gonna see the difference on the display. A52s has Super AMOLED 120hz and iPhone 11 has LCD 60hz display. It makes a huge difference. The iPhone's AP, A13 is a bit better than the Snapdragon 778G in A52s but I think A52s is a solid upgrade for everything else.
What's the price of a52s recently
It’s 320-ish. Samsung is expected to hike prices next year. I’m preparing a video about it so please subscribe!

can i use this phone in canada? i planning to buy a52s 5g here in Philippines before going to canada. Do you think this phone will work there?
Sure. A52s supports GSM, HSPA, LTE, and 5G and most of Canadian service providers support these networks. So it will work.

Im stuck between this and the xiaomi 11 lite 5g NE. some help pls
If A52s isn't way more expensive than Xiaomi in your local market, buy A52s. It's heavier than the Xiaomi but has better spec.

in 2023, Straight Talk is making changes which will make this phone incompatible. (Verizon bought Straight Talk.) I have just switched to Mint Mobile, which is compatible. I am very happy with my A52s 5G.

Hello Hideo Kojima😊
sold my s22 and switch to a52s,,, the heat issue and battery life of s22 really bad.

Snapdragon 778G in A52s doesn't heat up as much as or as fast as S22.

What about S20fe 5g bro?
Is it worth buying at $341?
If u are paying for 128gb/6gb model, it's not a cool price.
I wouldn't buy.
@@Technoliath I paid something 345 dollars in india(27600 rupess) for the 8/128 gb variant is it good price ...and why samsung charge more than other android mobile manufacturing companies? That's fair for 8gb ram model.
There are many reasons and I would say spec is not everything. Some people weigh other factors more than just specification. It could be brand, design, ecosystem, familiarity, color, software support, and the list can go on forever.

@@Technoliath I am of the same opinion. Samsung is doing wrong to us users about this, I want korean who knows their e-mail address to contact me, thanks for your comment
@@Technoliath s.k tech we are waiting for your help from turkey for this a52s object eraser, you can contact samsung please, I ask you to greet with respect
I think Samsung won't fix something just because we ask for it. Here's my experience;
When I was doing S21 FE review I found out the battery information on Samsung USA's website is not correct.
