Speaking to the idea of pushing yourself and your skills, I love the Zucchero shawl so much! I've been running a KAL using the pattern and when we're done we're donating the completed shawls to Tribal elders. The beading was a little scary. I was afraid I was going to be losing beads all over the house. 🤣 But it's so easy and so much fun. And the result is stunning.
Chandi, This video is so very helpful. I have spent hours looking at your patterns & then trying to find various colors & yarns along with those suggested. Finally when I decided on a yarn & color & a pattern, I ordered the yarn but cannot for the life of me remember what pattern it was meant for. Having moved at least twice in the past few months, my notes are all over the place. This video puts my notes in one place. Please drop such videos every now & then with your projects & yarns. I surely will reference them every time I need to. Thank you. Also, you are gorgeous and I do not know whether to watch you or the projects you display, which are also gorgeous. 😊💖
What a coincidence you put out this video today including the pattern for Crystal Roads. I purchased the pattern & yarn over 3 years ago (I think). Life got in the way and I wasn't able to start the project. This morning I went into my stash to find it so I can start it next week!! Life hasn't gotten any less complicated, but I wanted to start this project for myself as my daily reward for doing all the stuff I don't want to do. I've never done mosaic knitting so this will satisfy my need to learn something new :D. Happy Days to you!!
Great recap of beautiful knitted shawls. Saiki is lovely for mindless knitting and a wonderful canvas for showcasing small bits of leftover colors. I'll add that to my list. Melting transitions is lovely. A great introduction to short rows. DK weight allows for a quicker knit than fingering weight yarns. Milla is another lovely one for a quicker knit with the sport weight yarn. This dresses up an outfit to the next level. Great one to add to my wardrobe. Camarodonta - absolutely breathtaking but I have not knit with lace weight yarn before. I think that this will be a good challenge for me and will push me. Always a good thing. I will look at this one as a push myself to the next level project. Larghetto - jaw dropping and beautiful combination of lace and cables. Another beautiful shawl for beginner/advanced beginner is Andante. This beautiful shawl highlights the beauty of garter stitch and German short rows. I love short rows. Thank you for showcasing some of the beautiful shawls from you and the EFA design team.
Les modèles sont juste magnifique, j’aime beaucoup aussi ces associations de couleurs et la matière qui reste à découvrir doit être sympa également. Merci 🙏 à vous 💖🥰
You nailed me on the head. I am that kind of knitter. I've gotten so frustrated with going around and around with the Rainier shawl, I put it down for far too long. I'm 6 rows from knitting flat! PHEW! After finishing the Rainier and Mysa, I plan making the Camarodonta, as I've been eye-balling for years and I have the gorgeous January Skies and Purity yarns to make it. I do love this new pattern, it's on my must do list. Still have a few other shawl and a shirt to finish....If only you can stop sharing beautiful items, I might catch up. Then again I don't want you to. Take care and love ya! Don't stop!!!
Gorgeous shawls. I think I have all of them 😆. I just need the time. I think maybe to challenge myself and try the crystal roads, it's absolutely stunning. Thank you Chandi.
Absolutely stunning design❣️I believe I now have found the pattern for all the camel oasis fingering wt yarn I ordered through this past Christmas holiday 😊😁❤
Chandi, I have a storage unit, inside my home that I have been using to store yarn that I receive- all from ExpressionFiberArts and it's just busting right now, I can't work on projects quickly enough and my husband opened that section recently in error, his reaction was priceless LOL. I'm working on Adamas right now (as well as working on Teal Tenacity, back and fourth) but would like to try the Larghetto next. The cable section is one I've never done with knitting (only with crochet), so a little apprehensive but going to give it a try. Love the camel yarn, it's incredible. After Larghetto, I really want to make a circular shawl- those are probably the most beautiful in my mind but I've been holding off as they seem to be the most time consuming, or would be so, for me. Thank you for bringing us such beautiful inspirations! We are traveling to NC for a work event next week and look forward to seeing all the beautify of the area!! Have a magical weekend 😃 ❤
I'm a recent subscriber and love your content and all the beautiful work you do. I taught myself to knit last year after 40+ yrs of crochet. I struggle at times, although, your encouragement and support has been so very helpful! Thank you for the opportunity to knit new patterns, as well as learn. Sending good vibes from Kansas.
Wow, loads of great shawls to try. I’m going to shop my EFA stash and see what pattern I might want to make. Currently still working on two shawls so going to finish those first!
These are all so gorgeous! I fell for Mother of Pearl and thought, "this has to be the prettiest one, no way it gets better." Why did I doubt you, Chandi?! Lol they're all so pretty I can't decide! Can I do them all? Time to buy more yarn (don't tell my husband lol)
Oh my! Larghetto is A-MAZ-ING!! I’m a beginner half way through a basic sweater and loving it. Next up I was looking at a beginner or adventurous beginner shawl, but now I want to fast track my learning to tackle Larghetto for my daughter’s August wedding. 🤞🏼
The very first pattern I made was the Mother of Pearl shawl for a dear friend. She loved it. I love the Saiki shawl and will add that to my future patterns to knit.😎
I am more curious about the 8 stitch cable pattern and using 2 cable needles at the same time. I would like to learn more about mosaic knitting too. I really love the last rectangular shawl. Thanks for sharing this with us.
I love camarodonta but I think I would run out of patience! I do have the Artistic Sport yarn for the round shawl Lumin, but I may end up doing a sweater with it instead.
Thank you for this! Beginner knitter here (I usually crochet!). I'd like to try the Mother of Pearl shawl using circular needles, but what length of circulars would you recommend would make it easiest to handle the stitches? Thank you 💖🙏
All I want to do now is sit and knit! Alas, I have to go to work. Evening can't come quickly enough. 🙂
Lovely patterns, i love that you did an entire video dedicated to the shawl.
Für mich sie ist die absolute talentierte Hand Arbeiterinnen ich liebe sie und ihre Arbeit ❤❤❤❤
Ohh, dass ist aber lieb von Dir! 💕
What lovely shawl patterns and yarn collections! I also love the beautiful dresses you wear!
Thank you♥️
They're all so beautiful & I would be doing the beginner to advance patterns. The Crystal rose is my favorite it's absolutely gorgeous 😍
Oh my!!! These are all so pretty!!!! Like you said the last one was really gorgeous!
So many beautiful patterns! Thanks for encouraging us to keep learning one new thing at a time 💕🩷

I'm so glad to hear that 💙
Absolutely gorgeous! How to chose just one.... impossible!! 😍😍😍😍
I just love ALL of your patterns and yarns.
Ohhh!! Wonderful! And I do so LOVE knitting shawls! Something to do once I get learning to crochet done.
I love learning new techniques, and each new EFA pattern has something to teach me!

OMG that gorgeous blue fingering yarn 💙💙💙 & the Melting Transitions shawl BEAUTIFUL.
Thanks 🥰🥰🥰
What a great idea showing the shawls and of course the levels. Thank you
These are all stunning shawls. The Larghetto in the navy is gorgeous 😍
Been thinking about going back to knitting. Just seeing these designs are so inspiring 😍 ❤
You always make stunning beautiful pieces of art. You have spectacular yarns.
This video was so well put together! I really need to learn to knit. I want to make at least three of these. I've been crocheting most of my life.
Lovely Chandi. As lovely as you are. Thank you.

Im always pouring over your stuff for new knit shawls
I have the Camarodonta pattern and it will not leave my mind, so that is telling me it has to be made next.
Have a beautiful week. xxJane 🐑🌼
Oh, please do a crochet one
Noted 💙

Love the patterns!!
Ive actually made a few. 😊

All are beauties 🇨🇦🌹

Delicious!
I actually just cast on Terebenthia and I’m adding beads!! 😳 Lots of firsts with this for me: first shawl, first lace, and first beads! Mind blown!🤯 😅
I love camarodonta but I think I would run out of patience!
I do have the Artistic Sport yarn for the round shawl Lumin, but I may end up doing a sweater with it instead.
I need to learn to knit faster. I want to make it all.
Thank you for this! Beginner knitter here (I usually crochet!). I'd like to try the Mother of Pearl shawl using circular needles, but what length of circulars would you recommend would make it easiest to handle the stitches? Thank you 💖🙏
I think a 24" needle should be sufficient. The shawl is 18" wide so 24" would be perfect. 💕
That's wonderful, thank you for taking the time to reply 🙏💖
You are simply sweet and beautiful ❤
🧶😍🥰❤️👍😘👏👏👏
I love all these shawls I've done a couple of them thank you
