Classic. I didn't carry mine much because of how high it rode in the pocket and I hate serrations, but I still have it. That era of Kershaw's Euro AEB-L was dynamite. My large Cyclone is still one of my most carried knives. Great era from both Kershaw and Mr Onion.
Have that exact knife. Wore it everyday for years. For a medium size knife it lies really flat in your pocket. The steel was decent too. I wore it so much the ends polished up from my pockets. Still have it and wear it sometimes
thanks for showing this Mark! Kershaw has been bringing alot of oldies back lately like the Tilt and others, maybe we will see a re-release with some updates some day.
Had one of these from new - hadn't occurred to me how long I'd actually had it! Damn, time goes quick..... Mine is non-serrated. Like yourself, I hate sharpening part serrated blades. Not so bad on a large fixed blade - still sucks to sharpen, but at least you have enough plain edge remaining for normal. Just my opinion of course, but your average 50:50 or so combo edge isn't enough of either edge type to be useful. When it comes to folders, I'd rather just have a plain edge for easy sharpening, or if I know I need to cut something really tough and fibrous, then I'd take a fully serrated blade. As for the Storm (and a lot of Ken Onion's designs from this period), I really like it, but I do wish it were either Speedsafe, or at least had a slightly larger flipper. 😀

Thanks for the look at this one, buddy!
Nice. I busted the spring on the SpeedSafe my last Kershaw, a Cryo. They sent out a new spring within a couple of weeks.
They have fantastic customer service and warranty. I’ve used them a couple times already too.
Thx for sharing

Actually the "ST" in the model number denotes serrated.
Man this Kershaw Storm 2 is amazing I know it from the blade show in 2006.How long did you have that knife and is it savequeen knife for you?
Haven’t had it long and no, it is not a safe queen.
How much do you think that is worth. I have one in mint condition that I want to sell.
