I think you over estimate how much mew needs the fans... 😒. He has purposely turned down brand opportunities which is the main way they make money in this industry. He doesn't need the money. He just enjoys singing and acting. He even said during his "mewgulf is fan service" tweets that you can't pick your fans, but it's good to have the ones who he knows will stick by his side no matter what. People think he would regret the tweets bc he'll lose fans, but I think he was happy to get rid of some of those fans. Mew was very obvious during his trip to New York last year when he took half naked pics of tul, left a lot of very obvious, but also suggestive innuendos about his love for tul, as well as straight up called tul baby twice. I don't think Mew wanted to hide it or play games with the fans. It's evident that tul is the one who wants to hide it by how many times he shoved those suggestive posts of mew into the bro zone. He was trying extra hard to make sure people thought of them as just bros/bruh/broski (I see you tul). Then one day mew posts a story of him and Tul on FaceTime with the caption to "let me know if anyone sees this guy" and then posts on tul's fb status of the 2 of them in new York "answer the phone call". Obviously something went down between Mew and tul that mew was trying to resolve (needs to stop doing things like that on sm), and then next thing we know we have mew looking like he'd been drinking and crying all night announcing to the press that he does in fact have a faen, but faen doesn't want to be known. I think they argued about coming out, mew wanted to, tul didn't. Mew even says later in an interview that they had a fight but all is good now. Since then mew has been less out there about tul (probably bc he now knows tul doesn't want to be known, but also bc of the hate they got (thanks fans 🙄)). Mew said in his press conference that he would not have to hide faen though and that they still travel together. I think they still did try to hide it a little bc people would still think it was weird that mew always traveled with Tul, so they didn't want to post their vacations every single time, but they always ended up getting found out, and that's obvious bc right after the internet blows up over who is mew traveling with, THEN they start posting photos of them together (which I appreciate bc that means that they do in fact care that fans are going crazy). All of this to prove that mew would rather tell the world about faen, therefor I don't believe he is doing anything on purpose and definitely not to stay relevant bc he doesn't need the fans as much as they think. He may be having some fun with it now and then (and there's nothing wrong with that), but I don't think he has some manipulative agenda.

My theory about the mewtul situation is that during mew's trip to New York last year, mew was being very obvious that he and Tul were more than just friends and tul was doing every thing he could to push back on those obvious posts by dropping a bro, bruh or broski here and there. I think Mew really wants to come out about their relationship. I think Mew is so proud about faen that he just over shares. Right before mew's press conference when he admitted to having a faen, mew posted a story of him and Tul on FaceTime that said "if you see this guy, let me know". Mew and tul had likely had a fight about coming out to the public (mew wants to, tul didn't). However mew still needed to set the record straight bc fans were already hating on tul simply bc mew visited him in New York. You can't blame mew for what the fans do. In fact, the hate specifically erupted when tul posted the half naked bday pics and credited mew. That was tul's idea. What you should be pointing out is not why mewgulf or tul do what they do, but why do fans care so much and why do they act hateful and like they control what these guys do with their lives?
@@IWriteEssaysSorry i know nowadays fanservice is more intimate but fans are more aware becoz mewgulf, maxtul turnout to be a hard slap for everyone who ever has shipped them as a real couple. Nowdays people are more aware of these fanservices except for new fandoms. Fans have that insight that it's jst a fanservice. To be honest this whole concept of fanservice is so toxic.
That's what i am saying mew needs to think about himself. He is very sensitive, emotional. He has found someone who he want to introduce with everyone but his partner is not ready yet. When he drop some unclear hints people start talking shit about him. In whole of these chaos he is the most unhappy one which is really heartbreaking. I don't know if anyone will agree with me bt it's kind of attention seeking trait which somehow i can relate. I really want him to be happy bcoz its very stressful to endure so mch of toxicity.
Asian entertainment industry should be more open. The actors, idols they don't have any personal life. They are being treated as robots, working on commands. Their every action is pre-planned. I know they get name and fame, money bt the process of getting fame is itself so horrifying.
@@Kshail_ja I'm not positive about what I'm about to say, it's just what I've heard, but, for instance, in the US, Hollywood is a huge money making industry, so successful actors and actresses here are millionaires. It's quite ridiculous honestly. Anyway, I don't think the Thai industry makes or has that much money, but especially the bl industry. Bl series are mostly streamed content, so they make their money mostly off of merch, and are more like influencers than entertainers. That's sad, but that's how it is. In the US celebrities have agents that set them up for auditions, but it isn't like in Korea or Thailand where they have entertainment companies that mostly cast their own actors. I think this entertainment company structure is one of the issues that make things over there so toxic, even in Korea. I'm pretty sure the CEOs of these companies are making a ton of money off of these celebrities and not paying them as much as they deserve. Mew even mentioned that being one of the reasons he is doing his own thing with his sister managing him now. Anyway, all of that to say that the way things work over there, the celebrities depend too much on the fans to make a living so their whole career/lives have to be catering to the fans (thus why there is fan service) and creates a toxic relationship between celebrities and fans bc the fans think they're owed something.
