Not South Asian media. And if you read the magazines in the western world or internet trolls they are mean too. People try to make out Indians are obsessed with colour when it is not the case-Most of the famous actresses and actors are gorgeously dark, and not painted light. A controversial cream called fair and lovely not white and lovely is sued to remove tanning-yes dark people burn too. But whilst India gets a bad name based on a fake narrative, esp with silly comedians following the western template to get views will spread this fake narrative-KOrean dramas and people, chinese, thai etc etc blatantly discriminate and openly show dark as filthy-I mean the western world have skid marks and recently got into wet wiping not water cleaning like the eastern world does-the world is terribly arrogant condescending and hypocritical because they are not told the truth about the past.

I remember seeing a video about Apo when people make fun of his appearance of being dark skinned or how he sounded like a girl and he didn't let it get to him he refused to change for anyone. And that's what made me respect him even more.
True fans of BL should not hate on these poor actors it's hard enough they go through enough pressure trying to look good for a fantasy we have to remember that these guys are human. They deserve respect and they have every right to have a personal life if they want to get married have children so be it they should be allowed to live their lives in peace.

Sadly it will not stop :{ firstly, the agents will push for more star power, then the press will jump on anything the fans or anti fans have to say :{ The fans will respond with their own selfish desires on what they wish to see ie comments on looks and body types. Its rinse repeat. Some crazy sad people out there. So these actors , once aware of the dark side need to keep healthy minds as well as bodies because they chose this route into acting. But the paradox is they need the fans.

The shipping is ridiculous. This has to be a culture thing because you don't see this heavily in western media. There's a clear separation between the characters on screen and off. This has to be the one I don't understand the most. People go crazy if they see on screen actors kissing or doing fan service off screen and it makes no sense to me. Appreciate the chemistry on screen but after the show is over let them live their lives.

I thought it was weird too when I first started watching Thai drama's. But I now understand it's part of the entertainment culture there, and that a certain amount of revenue for studios and actors is dependent on it, as they don't have the same insane budgets that western studios have. And pairings working together on multiple projects is really no different from actors doing 5+ seasons of a show together in the US. That being said I think it definitely goes WAY too far. I'm fine with actors playing to the camera if both parties are on board and comfortable with it, and fans see it as just that, playing between friends and co-stars. It's like the actors are gently teasing us, we gently tease them back, in a tongue and cheek way. The actors get fed the attention and exposure they want, fans get fed entertainment. As long as the fans attention is innocent and amicable that's fine. But it's never okay to stalk or harass anyone, body shame them or prevent them from living their lives and having relationships. At the end of the day we are only entitled to what the actors are willing and happy to share and fans need to respect that.

    • @AdamonXC
      @AdamonXC 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@@masonc8140 I don't have a problem with the actors doing it if they're okay with it I think Perth said it best in one of his QA vids. • @masonc8140
      @masonc8140 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

@@AdamonXC Yes I agree, the fans often take it too far. I think when two "ship" actors have a genuine friendship or bond it's just as entertaining and endearing to see as their on screen drama, fans don't need to force them together romantically. I think it would be great if we could normalize affection between male friends the same way we do between female friends. No one thinks twice when two female friends hold hands, link arms, tickle each other, hug or kiss on the cheek. Girls can play, tease and be affectionate and it not mean anything. A lot of things labeled as 'fan service' are things girls do with friends all the time. It would be great if guys could do that too if they want to, without judgement or assumptions, and If BL actors could always be open about their relationships like "we're just friends and it's okay for friends to show affection." That would be far less pressure for them I think, and a clear distinction for fans.

Thank you for creating this. I believe we as fans need to create a movement where we promote healthy forms of behavior and fandoms. We as fans of BL/Gl need to realize we are truly supporting lbgtq+ entertainment need to promote that. Whether we are members of the community or allies, we need to be promoting and supporting inclusion for all.
As in entertainment of the past an actors personal and sexual preferences has nothing to do with the characters they play. For many, many years members of the lgbtq+ community had to hide their identity, play cisgender characters and pretend to be cisgender in real life. I find it absolutely absurd and ironic that today’s BL/GL actors have to do the complete opposite and play that they, themselves are members of the lgbtq+ community and not just the characters they play. This is still conforming to the homophobic narrative that has been around for seemingly eons.
Don’t get me started on the color washing and features. It also is continuing the colonizer mentality.
Anyway, I appreciate your video and hope that we can create a community of fans that respect each other and respect our entertainers’ personal space and personal lives.

Fans who do this, should pay for their crimes. The actor's management should be doing more to protect their clients. Honestly, I think it's management organizations who are stripping these actor's of their dignity especially when forcing them to be shipped so aggressively and demanding physical modifications to suit their industry beauty standards.

It's complicated. Apparently, actors don't get much (if any) money off of screening itself. This so-called "fan service" is how they actually earn their compensation. Therefore, pretending they are in love off-screen is a part of the job. And that's why actors agree to put up with this abuse. I wouldn't blame any particular organization but the entire business model has to go.

The saddest thing is that this is a real issue in the gay world too - with there being so much pressure on young gay men to look and be perfect.
But coming back to BL actors, let’s focus on their talent as actors and not be so petty and judgmental about their looks. Let’s support their careers and give them love for success and stop focusing so much on their looks. They are people too and deserve better treatment. ❤

  • @bellabana

It’s because these companies know that many fans can’t seperate ‘actors’ portraying a fictional BL character in a TV series from their real life. So they take advantage of it by requiring actors to pretend to be romantically interested in their costars in order to promote the series through fan service. And they also make money at fan service events through merchandising & advertisements.
This doesn’t happen to Western actors as when they do interviews it’s about the tv series, the message of the series, their characters. They have regulations in place to protect the actors being taken advantage of and also their private lives are off limits.
Fans themselves are to blame because they want them to be together in real life ignoring the fact they’re actors & have seperate private lives. The majority of BL actors are straight but regardless their personal lives are their own business not the fans.
The whole BL industry is disturbing on so many levels, from both companies exploiting the actors & the fans not respecting the actors person lives. As well as requiring actors to be ‘whitewashed’ which is a huge problem across Asia.

    1. There's a lot of homophobes in the BL fandom, and you can tell who they are because they believe everything is fan service and everyone is straight.
    2. Not everything is fan service and not every moment is romantic. Fans often create the romance and fan service because the read too much into everything these actors do.
    3. A lot the guys are Close Friends, so stop accusing them of doing fan service because you're uncomfortable with male intimacy.
    4. A person's sexuality is None Of Your Business; however...
    5. Stop assuming Everyone is straight just because the person hasn't come out. It's not easy being an openly queer actor, which is why some live in glass closets. PP has never said he's gay, but unless you're obtuse, it's very obvious. You can be gay just don't talk about it.
    5. Bisexuality is a thing but a LOT of fans don't seem to realize that people can like more than one gender.

This came from Perth who played in Kinporche, 85 to 90% of BL actors are straight. The problems reside solely with the industry pairing up the actors and the ones like Bright/Win, Earth/Mix who bring in money are kept together.
The actors have very little say in how much fan service they have to do, most are friends and are just winding up the fans because it's their way of dealing with the bullying for them to be in a relationship off camera.

Models or even just successful people, everyone is judged more positively if they look good. What about you, would you see them as idols if they looked average? A sincere answer.

sounds disappointing, but body shaming is not only a BL issue.
Apo is gorgeous. I was really pleased to see his darker skin. I find it disheartening to see unnaturally white facial makeup. Natural skin tone, please!
Fan Service should be only to a level the actors are comfortable with. Pretending to be romantically involved with an acting partner, or being forbidden from having a real relationship is not a good thing.
However if a pairing wants and is comfortable with being close and finds it reassuring or gets the benefit of being close friends, I object to fans calling it out. It should be the actors who make those decisions.
The problem is with Fans. There needs to be more enforcement of proper behavior and intolerance of obsessive actions. Even on SNS it is not ok to break reasonable standards of polite behavior. These are actors. They have lives. Be a responsible fan.
The KP situation with the authors was appalling. And damaged the careers of some of the actors. I was very proud of Jeff for speaking out to protect Barcode who was a minor.

for me as a European, this post is very shocking. Something like this is unimaginable here. This hysteria, these malicious comments about skin colour, weight, marital status and whatever else is actually an actor's private matter. This fan service is the worst evil for me anyway. I don't think these young actors know what they are really letting themselves in for. Giving up their entire lives was definitely not planned. If you look closely, you will never see some actors who were good again after a film. Not everyone is so robust to get through it without suffering any damage. Many young people have been destroyed. Let's think of Bad Buddy, for example, a great film, but the two main actors were worn out. You so-called fans who think that you have bought the whole person with the film and a high-priced ticket to a fan meeting and who also claim every right to have a say in private: you are not fans, you are stalkers in the worst possible way. Greetings from Austria.

It's disappointing to see this kind of pressure placed on them. I definitely do not support this kind of toxic culture. I genuinely appreciate every BL actor being able just be as they are and find it far more authentic and enjoyable just being the best versions of who they are and bring their talent to the role. I don't want every set of BL leads to be a barely perceptible physical difference in body type/shape, skin tone, facial features, etc. from one set of ML couples to the next. I want for them to be happy and enjoy the art they are creating for us and not becoming resentful and miserable doing something they love to try to meet some absurd and watered down copy paste singular idea of a character aesthetic.
Seeing many of the actors in their real lives on their socials all looking like the exact same cookie cutter of a pale manga-type paper doll in K-Pop star type fits is not unique or interesting and it makes them just lose their own identities. You don't see them really express themselves and you can tell they are being pressured to look certain ways because it's reflected in their posts. It's sterile and inauthentic and I don't even recognize most of them at all. They can look so different that I wouldn't even recognize them as being the leads I fell in love with in the series I have seen them as in their earlier works.
And f#@% all those creeps that were harassing the actors with inappropriate behaviors.

Now I don't even care, I only judge them by their series that many times they are neither good nor good acting but...... "the fanservice helps them" Sad and real. They are just actors, they had excellent chemistry but why so much drama? Why do I hate so much when they separate? Crazy people.
The thing about being "homophobic" is what really bothers me... one doesn't even know who they are because they all eat from the BL world.

I really don't understand the differenciation between light and dark skin. It has the opposite effect on me, because the darker skin catches my eyes because there are so few characters with it. But in the end, I don't care, their skill and talent is more important for me.
I gladly watch the content the actors provide themselfs, that's enough. They need free and private time and should do what they want to do with it!
I don't care if they are dating, which orientation they identify or if they give "fan service", I want a good series to binge, to talk and squeel about. That's all!
It is just work, in the end. I'm still friendly and polite when I see my customers after work, but I don't want to drink a coffee with them, you know?
And the thing with weight and looks and such.... You don't need to like everything, but don't go about it and spreed hate. I don't like some looks, but if the actor is doing his job ( getting the emotions through the screen), I don't mind the little things. I would never commend on the body weight of someone, I have my fair share of insecurities about it and I'm just a normal human being, not an actress.

  • @Oddhumor
    @Oddhumor 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

So much to say about this….
I’ve only started watching C & K dramas (now also Thai & BL’s) in the last 6 months and it became quickly apparent how openly abused these actors are and how they have to live their lives walking a minefield of rigid expectations, from fans to their agencies to the government. It’s ironic in that I read so many comments from “netizens” who claim to love their actors/actresses and yet, the slightest mistake (PERCEIVED mistake or choice that is considered taboo), and netizens show their true colors as demanding, immature, selfish, malicious and unhappy pirhanas just waiting to devour those they “claim” to adore. These HUMAN BEINGS, gift us with their hard work and amazing talents, we should be thankful for the “entertainment” they give us all.
I always laugh at the “white” is better mentality. I also wonder WHERE that idea comes from and why??? 🧐.
For me, all of the actors I enjoy from each country are attractive specifically BECAUSE of their “individual” & unique traits. Tan Jianci is hounded because of his height, his teeth, his nose?? Lol. But his appeal to me is his talent. What makes him so compelling has nothing to do with his looks (but I find him hot), it has to do with his PRESENCE, his aura and intensity of his personal energy. The criticisms he’s endured and overcome through the years have given him that internal strength and that CONFIDENCE is very attractive.
Bible, Apo, Boss, Noeul, Metawin (many Thai actors too many to name), Korean, Woo Do Hwan, Ahn Bo hyun, to mixed looking like Chinese Song Wei Long, to lesser known actors like Lin Ze Hui, to those considered “imperfect” for weird reasons like Tan or Zhang Ruoyun whom I find very attractive because again, his intensity, energy & aura are very magnetic in his acting, are ALL special in their own way. JOL 1 & 2 were a surprise to me becoming my favorite C drama so far even though theres not a lot of action or your typical hot guy lineup in it. It’s his PRESENCE (like Tan’s in Lost You Forever) that appeals and you don’t become so superficially attached to looks alone but emotionally invested in the character…. Almost all of the Thai BL’s I’ve watched had actors with the same talent of grabbing your heart and squeezing it! Ha ha ha. But people MUST understand its fiction. Take the life lessons from these dramas to become more self-aware, kind, open minded but then release these people, don’t hold them hostage attacking them because you’re unhappy.
The rabid obsession and unrealistic expectations, the clinging and feelings of “possession” are a side effect of living in a dualistic society that DEMANDS perfection while also restricting or monitoring every word or free creative expression, and the ability to truly LIVE any way you want to be happy. Alllllllll of that intense emotion that is suffocated has to go somewhere & sadly, it explodes all over other people that the depressed and suppressed see as the only joy in their lives. It’s VERY difficult to live your life in 100% strict self-control all the time so you don’t get in trouble, stressful and keeps one in a state of fear and agitated. Any release one can find to let out all their love, joy, excitement or, anger, resentment, even grief is an avenue many will take to cope with their unhappy lives. Fear and resentment are projected onto their heros they see as living the “best life”, then jealousy rears its ugly head and they lash out, happy to see their idols fall and suffer with them. Its an act of confusion and intense pent up emotion heartbreakingly directed at those who are only human too…. Forgiveness, compassion, empathy, awareness that these are “people” with flaws, desires, emotions, fears, dreams just like all of us, will free one from the constant battle for joy and contentment in life. Don’t keep looking for it in others, find it within yourself and follow your own passions.
Having said all of that, they have no right to judge, shame, bully, demand anything from their idols. At the end of the day, no matter what country you live in, every person is a free, sovreign individual entitled to live their own lives however they choose. For the sake of these lovely people I really hope these harmful attitudes change soon.
I look at my faves from China, Korea & Thailand and see their beautiful energy but yet, there seems to also be an aura of sadness around them at times, a reservation that dims their light - fear. The eyes are sooooo magnificient and expressive, I see it there…. It’s like caging gorgeous angels and clipping their wings so others can enjoy looking at them, not understanding that now their true essence and beauty have been destroyed….The most beautiful things in this world MUST be free to be truly appreciated in all their glory. Then the light they shine is blinding. As it should be….
I will continue to watch K, C Thai dramas and support my faves however I can with love, respect and appreciation for their talent, hard work and beauty - just as they are.

I haven't read all of this. I'll come back and read it later, but I wanted to respond to your "white is better" part. I think it comes from the fact that if someone has a tan it is thought that they work out in the hot sun so they are lower class people, whereas the rich hire people (the ones who become dark skinned) to do these jobs for them. I think white skin is just mentally associated with higher class, wealthy people. 🤷🏽‍♀️

I feel so bad for the actors when they have to deal with all the crap. It makes me appreciate their efforts and talents even more. There's been a number of BL series about some of this stuff, now, and it makes me so angry at the abuser character when the abuse is portrayed in the show. ALL of these actors have my respect for everything they endure to make these shows come to life.
Body shaming is a horrific things for anyone to have to endure. I'm always so grateful when I see a character that doesn't match the expected model-ready physique. We need MORE characters that are "normal" looking. The same thing goes with filters on faces - I have notice more and more natural shots showing up recently and it's a welcomed change.
The "Me Too" movement in the west has brought to light how much abuse there is by people of power, here. I know it's the same everywhere, and it's so sad that people have to endure that to make it in the industry. What we need is for ALL actors to boycott working for productions that use this practice. It would be too easy to say to those who were abused that they should have just walked away, because that's not fair for them and their career. But what angers me more are the managers of these actors who turn a blind eye to these abuses. I've seen them portrayed as a "second mom", but seriously they are driven by money and success, so is anyone surprised that they don't protect these actors, especially the younger ones?
I've been so happy to see more recent changes in some BLs, where the one who is perceived to be smaller, weaker is the top, etc. Welcomed changes. I'd love to see a strong effeminate character take the lead in, and be the dominant character, more. I have to wonder if straight culture is driving the stereotypes in the industry. Perhaps some lgbtq+ education is needed.
Fans are the key to change for much of this. WE need to be the change. WE need to push for change. And we need to support all of those actors, especially when they exert control of their personal lives.

  • @samcarmen

I can't imagine the burnout some of these actors must be feeling. their whole lives have to be an act because they always have to be gushing about their on-screen partners like they're actually in a real relationship when we, realistically, know most bl actors are either straight and/or never were in a relationship with their ship partners. not only are they always pigeon-holed into playing basically the same character/dynamic over and over again, but they have to act with the same person or else there will be public outcry. Don't get me wrong, these actors probably really like their on-screen partner and feel really comfortable around them. but be fr, any serious actor (who isn't just doing it for money, but because they love acting) isn't going to be satisfied acting with the same love interest, in a similar role, their whole career. yet shipping has gotten so out of control, that it's expected that if your drama is popular, you will most likely be stuck with that person until the end.

Since watching asian Bls I discovered how toxic some fans are !! Plus if there wasn't this FAN SERVICE it would be much better !! Yes promote the series but once the series is over thats it. Also having the same two bl actors always being boyfriends in every series they do and mix it up not have the same to guys being lovers and no fan service may help Those sicko fans realise that the couples in a BL are just actors !! I am sorry but its the industry's fault, Here in the western world we see movies about gay couples ect ect and even the straight male/female stars in series or movies We don't carry on about if they are real or or not !! ONCE its over they move on to another project and we as movie goers and fans go see a new movie about them ITS called entertainment this fucked up fans that DON'T HAVE A LIFE AND LIVE THROUGH ACTORS LIVES NEED TO GROW UP !! THERE IS ENOUGH NASTINESS IN THE WORLD !! I WATCH Bls for the fun enjoyment and relax and take time out of the world around me !! These people that say and do all this shit to actors get a life learn respect understanding love kindness happiness love

fans are problem for sure but actors and companies encourage actors to behave lovey dovey infront of fans and than they over do it and when its create problems they blame fans if u know your series is good people will watch it give interviews like friends or co actors but they behave like we are dating it just make the situation worse its a fault from both sides fans and actors.

Even everything is awful, i think the main reason is how much the actors depend on fans. The promotion of the series, their earnings or food is taken care by these fans. The companies don't put money for marketing or catering during filming, also some actor don't get país for the work but earn money from being the brand of different products after the series get famous

I agree all of this is disgraceful and no one should be made to do anything they don’t want to or endure harassment and false allegations from “fans” and people in positions of power-but why did you have to say that Zee and NuNew “even CLAIM to be in a real relationship”? I get it that obligatory fan service isn’t good, but it’s still understandable and absolutely conceivable that some of these men could ACTUALLY fall in love, sheesh!

I enjoy watching BL ,specially if the two actor are in good chemistry, sometimes we imagine that they have a relationship, but we didnt know whats real, they are actor we know that,if we like to idolized them just focus to their acting, not to their private life,or their appearance ...most important if they watched them together even have or no intimate realtionship, you feel happy...respect them .

This hurt me alot😢You should tell this to their agencies. The fact that one appears in a film doesn't mean that's his or her life. To begin with, should the agencies themselves protect the actors from toxic fans. No wonder these issues and it's a fucking reality, only emerge in asian industries. It's very unlikely to hear most of these issues in the western world....am completely mad about what happens to them...
Shipping them when it's not even approved by them is wrong
These toxic fans should be sued and taken to jail....when the actors decide to have their personal lives why should someone interfere when you only see him or her only on screen....these harassment of actors is all the agencies fault....I wish sometimes they would learn a bit from the western industries even though not that much or am I lying here? They have their fucking lives and rights what's the big deal in letting them live freely. The same way one has a career and private life, so do they....aaaah am mad at the thought of it👿

How many people dream of becoming an actor every day in the whole of Thailand? How many of them actually have any talents to do so? Anybody is casted into a series when they have money or contacts. Who cares of the hardworking crew? Only actors come out saying they have been through a lot and people listen. Why? Coz they r popular. The crew who have harassed r not even known to public. Fans r just being true to their nature. Following... Everywhere literally everything the actors do. If the actors don't want it they shouldn't become one in the first place. Well fanservice is not what fans ask for. It's something the agency does to make sure people r entertained enough to shell money. Not every fan wants to know what is the color of drawer an artist is wearing to a live session but the MC will ask because the ladyboys sitting in the managerial or production departments find it entertaining. So don't go around blaming fans. We r literally paying their bills with our hard earned money. For some reason actors r not shipped in a hetero scenario or series. Everybody accepts it is acting only but when it comes to a bl, somehow everyone hunches on the leads being gay😂 problem lies with lies that they spout.
P.S. Bright, may u n Nene have cute and awesome kids

All very good points, and fans are very crazy, I'd also Like to add on that when a bl actor then does a series with an actress, they then get hate by fans, not just the actor but mainly the actress Film , Tu and more recently Prim are just some of the actresses that have all had hate comments thrown at them and worse from a few bits, that I've seen, all because according to fans they're "breaking the ship apart", how much more deluded can you get ?? Gmmtv wont break a bl couple unless the actors say so, eg nanon and ohm, An actor acting with an actress doing their jobs, maybe they wanted to try something new, but it also leans into the point of fans assuming their sexuality, unless they have explicitly stated then it's no ones business

That is a shame. No one should be treated thzt way. It is the opposite in USA. We lay out in the sun to get a dark tan. We want to be darker. The abuse that they take from so called fans and the stalking. That would not happen here. They would all get thrown in jail. Your country needs to protect you bettrr

i cant understand why some fanatics get mad when celebrities date or enter a relationship, they even call it cheating or a betrayal-like do they really believe they own the person? are they too much into a delusion that their celebrity crush would only be devoted to them when they're basically strangers?
i mean, you can fantasize being the girlfriend/boyfriend whether your idol is in a relationship or not, like that's the point of a fantasy. fantasize all you want but don't delude yourself into thinking you're the real romantic partner just because they're nice or even slightly flirtatious to fans like you. you don't own them just because you supported their shows. they don't owe you anything. yes, you may have supported them but that was in exchange for their performance. they worked hard to entertain you. it's not like they did nothing or made no effort and you just showered them with love. it's a transaction so stop acting entitled and let them live and love whoever they want.

Commenting on an actor's looks is rude and inappropriate, and it makes one wonder what these trolls actually look like themselves. A lot of fans take things way over the top. Thailand seems to be the worst offender. Their entertainment industry needs to change their priorities. These actors need respect and privacy, especially the younger ones.

Ppl need to a life. These celebs are human with lives of their own. There's a saying believe half of what you read and even less of what you hear. This just shows me how ppl in power abuse their positions or quid quo pro. Fans must be truly bored with their lives if they are going to these extremes. Like I said they need to get a life of their own. Yes I am a fan of a lot of these wonderful actors but I respect for them as well

  • @santoyadogan6774
    @santoyadogan6774 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

The issues that you mentioned tar actors of BL face, are not specific to that genre or that country. These sort of issues and many more, not mentioned in your video, are common in the entertainment industry across genres and across countries all of the world.
What is referred to as shipping in Thailand, is done by fans in the US and sometimes these fans did everything that you mentioned to their favorite actors for all the same reasons, but these fans were not called shippers and the culture around such inappropriate behavior exhibited by fans towards actors/musicians/other celebrities, wasn’t called shipping, the inappropriate behavior fans were called stalkers and when they went to far in trying to engage their fave celebrity, it was called stalking. And when it started to to happen frequently, a few decades ago in the US, this behavior was not encouraged. US actors were not encouraged to give fan service, when they were not on set. When co stars, who an on screen couple, were together at fan events or just going about their private life they didn’t have to pretend to be a couple and they didn’t normally do so either. Even with that not being encouraged by the US culture as a whole, there were still fans that got upset about their favorite actors not behaving the way they wanted and then some fans resorted to the sort inappropriate behaviors that you described- spreading lies and rumors, stalking, being violent, etc, just being inappropriate and completely inappropriate of the lives they are disrupting by their selfish, delusional behavior.
And as I was saying despite the genre, body shaming and sexual harassment are things any actor may have to deal with. It’s just the nature of the entertainment business. The industry judges all actors just as much, if not more so on their physical appearance than their acting talent. I don’t agree with many of the practices that are common to the business and I don’t think actors should be subjected to such things, but until there is a reform in the industry, this is what an actor signs up for. And I would hope that anyone considering a career in acting would stop and give it a lot of thought and prepare him/herself before going this career path.
Well I have no answers about how to reform the industry and no judgments for those who choose acting. I just agree it’s a rough business and no one has the right to spread lies and rumors, be violent toward, invade the privacy of, sexually harass/assault or in any way hurt other people. But that is the world. People are not always considerate, never mind loving toward others. Selfishness is easy and some groups like Thai BL actors are put in the position of being easy targets, they are not the only group, just one of many, and that is unfortunate.
You are making people aware. And sometimes that is all we can do to make the world a better place, make the public aware of the harm that happens behind closed doors and in public where any and everyone can see, but that no one pays attention to and/or thinks is acceptable and where some people actually think it’s their god given right to treat other people in such inappropriate ways.
Well thanks for sharing, I found your video informative. And for what it’s worth I do see men in this industry and other industries within entertainment, how they are treated and how the world at large thinks it’s ok and it’s not. And I do what I can to promote awareness in hopes of changing hearts and minds and behaviors. Blessed be.

I was broke down when I saw this video cause its totally scary and horrible. I know I watch bl and it made me happy but when I slowly go through this bl world, slowly I knew about something black side of bl world. I really hate those people who went crazy about their( bl actors) personal things not only bl but also all the actor and actress.( In screen and off screen is different things) all the fans should note this words. They have their own life like us. I am just newly bl watcher I haven't gone that deep in this world and I may not understand those deep things but I know fantasy and reality is like sky and land. all the bl series firstly told us its just imaginary ,fantasy character. It is the show only for few moments of happiness for us. I don't think we should expect that in real life. I know we imagine or hope that character to be in real life but fans!!that is only fantasy world we can't have them in real life. In some cases maybe our fantasy comes true but its upon the actors and their life decision. We can just imagine or fantasized in our mind. When I knew that fans does that mean things that broke me. And please those addicted fans please you can imagine anything you like but come out from that world cause real is nothing like we imagine..!!
