Exactly! I'm actually about to comment regarding other "real" vocal coaches who love the harmony of this girls, the exact opposite of what this two are saying lol. And take note, I really made an effort watching the reaction videos of other "legit" vocal coaches about 4th Impact's performance on this video, and I also watch the original video alone and I can't quite seemed to figure out what this two are trying to say about their negative reactions. There's nothing wrong on saying constructive criticisms or even negative thoughts, but please make sure that it is valid lol. Honestly I'm waiting for the girls (4th impact) to make a mistake, I was even hoping that other vocal coaches will say the same thing as what this two are saying, but all the vocal coach that I've watched who reacted on this video of 4th Impact are really impressed and can't tell whether there are some mistakes on their notes or whatsoever. I guess its time for this two to have an ear surgery, seriously, Ovela & M-Angel, go get an appointment to your doctors.
I watch them every day every night. I don’t even listen to any other Filipino artists besides the old charice and vocal coaches do love their voices.
If what you’ve said is correct the how come they’ve won in WCOPA? The World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA) event was considered the Olympics for the performing arts, including singing, acting, and even modeling. The sisters were proclaimed the Junior Grand Champion Vocal Group Category. They went home with 16 gold medals with their winning performances in various categories such Pop, Gospel and Broadway. Aside from the X Factor UK and The Superstar K6 in Korea not to mention the various TC Shows here in the Philippines. Does that mean that the judges who made them won/qualified to those contest made a mistake and that your opinions are far better and legit than theirs?

Here is the thing, I think you two should better not react on something you initially didn't like. There's no point. Or better yet, if Ovela wants to react on something, and M-Angel doesn't; vice versa, we'd rather see JUST ONE of you make a reaction. It makes a big difference honestly. We don't want to see an unenthusiastic and bored M-Angel. You don't want negativity, WE ALSO DON'T WANT THAT. You say you are honest, then don't deliver that "honesty" with such sluggish, catatonic, apathetic facial expressions. You don't want to be bombarded with hate and nasty opinions, but you were the first to wavered out negative vibes through your reactions. What was that? It's ironic and plain rude. There's really no point on reacting to something that doesn't interest you. You waste both of your time and your viewers' time.

Another thing is that legit vocal coaches have reacted to them and gave their reviews and it meant right for them. They said that harmonies are on point and I think no too much belting to it. They really analyze their singing and replay some notes and they liked it. Now I am really confused if it is worth trusting or watching your reactions.
First off, I really do think this two have problems with their ears. I know Ovela and M-Angel doesn't like 4th Impact (singing wise) from the start, they said that themselves from their previous reaction videos. So, before watching this video, I watched a couple of youtube videos of some vocal coaches to see their analysis about 4th Impact's performance on this video. I was actually expecting for the vocal coaches to make a negative reaction, but those "legit" vocal coaches were impressed on these girls, saying that their harmonies are "on point", they compliment each other and not trying to be better than the other one. And yet what are these two (ovela and m-angel) trying to say??? Seriously guys, there's nothing wrong if you have a negative reaction or whether a constructive or even a destructive crticism, but saying something not real??? Shaky harmony? Trying to fight each other's voice?? I mean, I'm not sure right now if you guys are just plainly haters or you guys have problems with your ears. This Hallelujah version may not be the best version or cover, but I must say they are perfect with their harmonies, their notes, and their registers. That could have been said better or not at all. That wasn't a reaction statement. I'm not a fan of 4th impact and so I don't know much about them. I've only seen their audition at the X Factor which I liked. I googled the group though and found that they have 2 world championships and 36 gold medals on their resume". So, yes, you don't have to like them but don't insult them. And stop dropping names of other groups.I think these ladies can hold their own (based on 2 world championships, thats my opinion). I'm wondering why some people are allowed to give a reaction when they can't sing themselves. "walk the talk." I have watched M-Angel's covers and I think she should stop singing. Not pleasant at all. Flats and sharps everywhere. If she can't hear herself being flat while singing, I don't think she can tell when some else does. Unreliable reactor. When they audition in Korea the judge actually said only the two out of four got the voice. Filipinos started liking them because they appeared in X-factors.
Actually MGN, the two separate vocal coaches, who I saw and I don't want to mention, reacted to this video thought that this is good with one in a separate channel was smiling and seemed to be pleased, and the one in another separate and different channel said that she loved harmonies all at that moment when you said that their harmony was like eh, a bit not good.
Why do you instead watch/react to all 4th Impact/Power performances at X-Factor UK 2015? I'm sure Simon Cowell praises and comments will contradict all your negative comments on these talented sisters. Looking forward to it. Thanks for the reaction tho!
you too obviously have not a clue about harmonising i suggest you look at some vocal coaching reactions for this song by 4th impact and maybe you will learn about harmonising.
Reactions from Vocal lexicon and rebecca vocal athlete and zeek street listen to them you might learn something.. and oh.. 4th impact doesnt have a base to compare with ptx these are pure girls. Its not out of sync or feedback freq. its a bit of harmonizing and unison

I know that the both of you are just being honest and I like honest people but I think that the both of you can't analyze or can't judge a performance well. Maybe if their cover was not perfect and doesn't sang the way you wanted it ( but FOR ME THEY WERE PHENOMENAL), but most of your comments are not right. I don't care if she likes them or not, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I don't know what qualifications she has to critique these girls technically, but she has every right to not like their voices or music. Someone below posted a link to her singing Silent NIte and I personally thought it was the worst thing I've heard. Then again, just my opinion. I just find it funny that hundreds of thousands of fans absolutely love these girls and their harmonies, including Simon Cowell and other music industry experts so I"m not going to put too much weight into this review other than they just don't care for them personally. Hey, that is why they make Ford's and Chevrolets.

I realize you're trying to give your honest opinion in the face of possibly getting hated on by 4th Impact fans, but really? We all have different reactions to music and different tastes in what we like, so there's no shame if you're not drawn to 4th Impact's work. It's when you make derogatory comments about their singing ability that I find myself thinking, as I did during your first reaction to them, and again here, that we need to take up a collection to get you hearing tests. I'm not saying that just to be mean. Your responses to some of the most glorious harmonies I've ever heard, the same harmonies that move other people to tears, leave me shaking my head in bafflement. There were moments in your reaction when your faces lit up and your eyes got wide, where you were clearly impressed and liking what you heard, but afterwards, the best you could bring yourselves to say about them was couched in terms like, "That wasn't too bad." What's that about? By the way, I loved the Pentatonix version (which was a professionally mixed, full-out studio production) of "Hallelujah," but I also found the 4th Impact cover to be thrilling. They're not mutually exclusive.

I think this reaction was made out of spite for the negative feedback they got the first time they "reacted" to the girls.
which was again actually a couched "reaction" to the reactions of disappointed fans (to teach them a lesson) when 4th impact was booted out of xfactor uk.

I don’t hate MGN, I’m actually one of their subscribers but I just want to point out 2 things that I think caused people to hate this reaction video.
1. It’s never right to laugh at a serious performance, see 3:40. It’s so disrespectful. These girls and their team put so much effort on this video and they don’t deserve such a reaction.
2. You may not appreciate the sound that they’re producing when they’re harmonizing and preferred the Pentatonix’s harmonies but that doesn’t mean these girls are doing it the wrong way. That’s their own style and way of harmonizing. As long as you’re producing a simultaneously sounded musical notes, that means you are harmonizing. This group has 4 powerful voices while Pentatonix has someone who can do the base and someone who can beatbox so the harmonies that each group will produce will be different from the other.
You two are always haters their rendition of Hallelujah has been reviewed by vocal coaches they sais their harmonies are perfect are you a vocal coaches ? their harmony are not shaky your brains are they have been sibned by one of the biggest recording label in the US Granda Entertaintainment and Oscar n lloyed they just finished their EP all original songs its going to be released worlwide and you think you know about music than these people who signed them this label have Shakira Cristina Aguelira Bruno Mars and so many others

To my fellow Filipinos, whenever MGN hates or dislikes your idol, then just ignore them. After all, they were just giving "opinion", I repeat, "opinions". They are just honest, frank, and true to themselves, so don't expect always a reaction video to be all nice and sweet. They just gave their opinions, so please don't interpret and treat them as if they are "truths coming from the great singers in heavens telling that 4th impact or your idol is not a good singer". Sometimes we get to oversensitive and over defensive. I understand your love and support but to receive just an opinion about your idol and then react that way is way far guys. It is as if M-angel said something bad about you or your loved ones such as family or close friends. Let 4th impact hate MGN if they like. Maybe also I never experienced how to be a fan of someone.
Just ignore them, I know it hurts for you being a fan. Defend, love and support an idol is good but to be oversensitive and over defensive for your idol is too much. I like 4th Impact, but it is also true, that I don't like all of their performances. I like Sarah G. but even if MGN seemed to dislike her sometimes or most of the time, I just ignore them because they just don't know how I knew Sarah as a singer. In the end, I also love MGN's honesty and frankness, though really sometimes they or just M-angel can say words we don't like to hear about our artist, but hey, it's just her opinion. The words they say here are true to themselves as reactors, and they are not strong enough to bring your idols down, so just keep loving and supporting your idols but don't do it too much to the point of idolatry, over defensiveness, and over sensitivity. :)

I enjoyed 4th impact's rendition of Hallelujah but I put a thumbs up on your reaction. You explained yourselves very well. I just know when I enjoy something or not and do not have enough technical knowledge to analyze it the way you do. I think it's the same way I feel when I walk through the woods or the park and am naming all the plants in Latin in my head. The reception is different because of one's knowledge. There are parts where they harmonize and parts where they belt, and MGN don't seem to like it when they belt. Same reason why some fans of the group want Almira to tone it down a little bit at times. 4th Impact's style is just not MGN's type of group singing. My opinion anyway.

They're not really into 4th Impact. As what they said they don't hate the girls it's just that their ears do not fully or see something special with their singing. And that is better, to tell truth than to pretend just to ride on or get viewers.

Long-time watcher, first-time commenter. Always loved your stuff (esp. Filipino reactions). First, thank you for giving an honest opinion. Thanks also for giving them a second chance. And, I also apologize for most of the negative reactions of my fellow Filipinos.
I think the thing about the girls is this: in contrast to Pentatonix, who have more of a "barbershop" vibe, 4th Impact are more of a "girl" group, a pop group. I think of Pentatonix like The King's Singers (my favorite a capella group), but 4th Impact are more of a whole show, the complete package. It's like the difference between watching KZ Tandingan on the bus vs on stage. Whereas Pentatonix is technically precise, the girls are rougher but more emotional. They make more mistakes but have more moments of spontaneous brilliance.
You mentioned them "singing over each other," which I always assumed was just them infusing some kinda (R&B?) soul into their performance. I always saw them singing to or with each other; it never occurred to me at or against each other. Maybe we just have different expectations: maybe you think of their harmony as a main course and I think of it as dessert, an extra flourish. I've never gotten any impression of discord especially given their sisterly bond -- actually I believe this is one of their strongest aspects. They look alike, talk alike, sing alike (when they have to), exude the same vibe, and the resulting blend is unparalleled.
In short, I think you may be watching them (this time especially, one can practically see the analytical wheels turning in your heads with how closely you're paying attention ;-) ) differently from most fans: let's say you've pegged Pentatonix at a solid 99% and you're watching to judge how 4th Impact does. It's a bit of a shock, then, to see them come in at say 90%. To a more casual fan, however, anything 90-100% is the same score, but they're watching for the energy the girls bring or the catchiness of the song or just the whole performance, to get sucked into the music.
If you ever get the time or inclination, you can see what I mean on their classic x-factor uk audition week 1 or more recent wish-tv performances like "I'll be there" or "love the way you lie" (on your own; I wouldn't bother you to set up a reaction). [TODO EDIT LINKS] But anyway as you said, different tastes for different people. As for myself, after several listens I think I hear what you guys are talking about, but in the end I'll just trust your ears.

M-Angel's reaction is her opinion towards the girls' performance and that's her right. I love 4th Impact and their humble beginnings. They are promising IMO, they just need a vocal coach to make them sound a lot better especially when they're belting. But to the commenter who sent a link on M-Angel's cover on Silent Night you are so mean lol. I watched the video and I regretted it😂

Music is indeed an art.................. It is "subjective" after all. MGN disliked 4th Impact but some fans love them. Maybe MGN liked other singers, but we hate them. It's like that, and that's how subjective and personal music is. It depends on the culture, person, nationality-linkage, environment, upbringing, what music you used to listen to, the level of fanaticism you have being a fan of a singer or singers, or your personal preferred style or genre, as well as your current mood, current ideas, presumptions, assumptions, preferences, and the way your ears like or dislike a music or a singer, or in short just 4 words, biases, nature, culture, and nurture. It depends on many factors. Like I can say I love Regine, you love Regine, or MGN love Regine, but I also encountered people saying Regine is shouting and not singing and I really got angry to that person at that time. Now, I finally realized that music is different to different person. I can't please anyone, and not all of what I like is also liked by others.

I love Filipinos and actually I followed this girls' journey through x factor UK, but guys some fans are like too much to stand I mean, yes the girls are good but please this wasn't a good cover of this song in my opinion, not everyone is going to like them, grow up and accept other people's opinion. This happened when they were on the X factor UK, Filipino fans were everywhere attacking people that didn't like them. Please stop
