MrsJessViola Thank you so much! I use a pretty cheap sequencer, Mixcraft 6 by Acoustica. Although its cheaper than others, it does everything I want, and is pretty easy to use. As for gear, I use an AT4040 microphone and UX6 audio interface : ) The UX6 is not that good, but it gets the job done. I hope that helps! If you're looking for cheaper options, I can tell you those as well if you want (i.e. what I was using before).
