Thank you very much for creating this video. It is very well presented and organized. It really helped me in understanding the main features of this medicine. It provides detailed information in a short amount of time. The pace, clarity and tone of voice helps to easy follow the material. Thanks a million!!!
Like most atypical antipsychotics, Clozaril has a lower chance of causing extrapyramidal symptoms (like tardive dyskinesia) than most typical antipsychotics. To quote a 2009 study on clozapine-induced tardive dyskinesia, "These results suggest that clozapine may cause TD; however, the prevalence is low and the severity is relatively mild, with no or mild self-reported discomfort." A link to their findings can be found here: pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19995222/ I hope that helps out!

Clozapine truly saved my life
Good to hear, thanks for sharing!
Question: I read somewhere (forgot where) that Clozaril usually doesn't cause TD. Is that not true?

Any antipsychotic can cause EPS. 2nd gen just lowers the chances but it can still happen. Clozapine is last-resort drug only.
